Ordered food online today, 9-26-16, pickup at 5:40 and if we could give less than 1 star we would. First of all it appeared they were understaffed, especially for dinner time. One lady was already arguing with the employee about how long it was taking to get her order. She had arrived before we did. The employee appeared to be in such a hurry to bag our food that he forgot to include my wifes salad in the bag. We discovered this as we got home so we had to turn around and go back. She got her salad and went on her way. Her salad when she got home had black spots all over it. Appearing to have gone bad. And in her chicken a black long hair. The other food cold from having to go back and forth. I have pictures showing the salad and hair. Gross. I uploaded them to this listing. We will be avoiding this location going forward.

Last Thursday three of the four line cooks improperly handled food. I dont know what was worse: the fact that they were eating food on line or from customers plates, not wearing gloves, not washing their hands, wiping their hands on their smocks or trying to hid that they were eating on the line. If I could post negative stars, I would. I did report what I witnessed to the Davis County Health Dept. and Pei Wei Corporate, because I believe there are probably other food handling violations at the Bountiful location. I like the Pei Wei menu, however since the food is handled so poorly, is it really safe to eat? How often do guys really wash their hands? Do people really want to eat food prepared by cooks who dont wash their hands, dont wear gloves or eat from a customers plate?

Food service is average. Sometimes its prepared well sometimes its burnt. This location is always dirty. The service station where you get drinks and silverware is always sticky, missing napkins or forks, out of ice or missing a beverage (tea twice, coke once). Numerous times theyve been out of items on the menu. The food is served messy, sauce on the sides of the bowls and plates, wiped down tables are always tacky with food particles on them. The floor is always sticky, particulaly around the service/beverage station. I believe the staff is poorly trained, many have trouble answering direct questions about the menu or resolving issues. If it werent for the fact that the next closest Pei Wei was 40 miles Id never come here

Ordered and sat down by 8:40, they close at nine. I got up to get my drink and the lemons were put away along with all the sauce. The water machine was being cleaned out and unusable. We spent 32.00 dollars on two entrees and an app but couldnt get a drink because the people working wanted to get home early. If you come into a restaurant and spend money on food you should get the same service and amenities, regardless of the time. Food came out, rice was old and hard. My husband steak was old or just completely over cooked. Each time we have came here something has been off with the serivice, like waiting for tables to be cleaned to be able to sit down or the waiters being rude. We wont be back again. What a shame.

We just returned from Pei Wei on a Friday night and it was a terrible experience! The line was out the door with only one person taking orders. Customers were waiting by tables to be cleared and cleaned. Food and trash were all over the floor. Our food was delivered in pieces easily 5 minutes between eachother. One of our orders was fried rice with steak. The steak came out raw. Not rare, RAW! We mentioned this to the manager and she only suggested to heat it up. The environment and lack of food quality made us lose our appetites. Lastly, I visited the restrooms and it looked like a tornado hit. I normally do not even write reviews but I was so disgusted I will not return.

We went with a group of people today. First of all, the person taking orders was not at all personable. Secondly, the bathroom smells like raw sewage. Additionally the ceiling above the guest dining area had holes in it and the ceiling above the kitchen area cooking food had multiple holes and patches in it. Oh, and the menu wasnt even displayed when you walk in. This place looks like its closing down. And, honestly, it should. The building is falling apart and I dont know how it passes inspection. The food was marginal but portions are way smaller than they used to be. I like Pei Wei, but I wont return to this location.

I really like their Mongolian Steak dish and I got takeout tonight. I cant believe the size of the dish: 2/3 rice with only 1/3 the actual dish. I counted my meat and there was 7 pieces. On top of that, I ordered a spicy tuna roll. Ive never had it here before but I would never order it again. The rice was cold and dried out. If I wanted cold, dried out sushi then I would pick one up at a grocery store at the end of the day and it might still be better than what I got here as takeout! I expected more from a restaurant! I dont know if I would order food from here again...so disappointed!

Worst experience in a very long time. As a previous server I understand kinks and mistakes but Oh man! First were told that they dont have any lettuce wraps but as we are leaving they serve another person a lettuce wrap. Then we spend $40 for 2 adults and 2 kids to eat and the kids meals are at the least half as much more then the adults. We we were all still hungry when we left. We paid $1 extra for noodles that were PLAIN ramen noodles. They were dry and had no seasoning at all. It was also so cold everyone had to go outside to eat. I wont be coming back.

Food is great from what I can remember, the last two times I have been their the service has been horrible. I have walked out after waiting to be helped for over 10 to 15 minutes. No one was in line a head of us either. They kept helping the people who had take out orders. They said they would be right with us and made us wait again. They always seem short staffed and run put of stuff frequently. Not worth your time.

Its only ok. It isnt often that I wont finish sushi, but in this case, its appropriate. The sushi was dried out, as though it had been sitting around for a long time, hours, perhaps. Smiths grocery sells fresher sushi, and you know its been sitting for hours. I also ordered a wok dish, and it too was without merit. It was on par with buffet food, which doesnt square with the cost. Overall, a lackluster effort.

Called in an order but when we came to pick it up they said they didnt get the order. The same exact thing that we ordered was sitting on the counter. They seriously wanted us to wait to re-make the order! Service was embarrassingly horrible. Was not offered an apology and the icing on the cake came when we asked to speak with a manager we were told she was too busy. Terrible service.
