To whom it may concern: 03/19/2015 On Thursday March 19th at 4:04PM, we went through your drive thru and ordered a #17, a bean and cheese burrito, a sausage, egg and cheese burrito, along with three large drinks. The order came to around $27.00. My husband handed the lady at the window who was a young Mexican girl our debit card, she handed the card back and stated that the card did not pass. We both looked at each other rather strangely and so he handed her another debit card from one of our other banks accounts which has in excess of over $20,000 dollars in it. She then handed that card back and stated that it did not pass either. First off its totally clear that the uneducated, unintelligent girl is a complete moron. When a transaction on a credit card doesnt go through it is called DECLINED, (not it didnt pass). Secondly, we own our own business and have a great deal of money, there is no way our cards would be declined. Thirdly, if she would have read the receipt that came from the credit card machine after trying to run the debit card it stated (transaction not complete). If a card would not have gone through because of no money in the bank it would have stated (unauthorized or declined). Im writing this letter in hopes to bring to your attention the complete incompetence of the girl you had working at the window that night. We tried clearly to explain this to her but for whatever reason the girl was so inept that she couldnt understand that it was your credit card machine not working OR better yet maybe it was her being a complete moron that didnt know how to operate a credit card machine. I later tried to call the store and ask for a name to contact about this moron girl who clearly had no clue what she was doing and a gentleman answered the phone. When I asked who I could speak with in regards to a complaint he hung up on me. I will be making a complaint with the El Paso County health department as well as the better business bureau since your business and its rude employees dont know how to handle customer complaints properly.

i never had a problem with this taco star until i have recently changed my order from breakfast burritos to carne asada fires. we ordered the carne asada fries and when we got to the window we found out that they had made us the carne asada plat instead and asked them to fix it and the guy at the window argued with us to change it cause he already made what he made. not to mention after he argues with he took forever to process my payment. I then gave them a chance to redeem themselves last night when i got 2 orders of the carne asada fries and when we got to the window they had only made us 1 order so we asked to make another willing to pay for it of course and they refused to make us the second order. I will not be going to the taco star on N circle anymore if any taco star at all because if you go anywhere else fast food wise they are comparable and fix my order with out question and even offer free food. i would recommend alfonsos on 21st street, monicas on filmore, or albert tacos on austin bluffs.

A year ago this place used to be the bomb. Now they have snooty teenage girls taking orders who dont seem to possess any kind of customer service skills and keep messing up my orders too!! Today, I ordered a carne asada with potatoes added and of course thats an extra charge no problem. The problem was when I received my burrito, not only was it not served hot but it was barely warm and NO potatoes were added! So I go back to the window to let the snobby princess know it was missing the potatoes. She just looked at me with a straight face, didnt say anything but take back my burrito and slide the window closed as if I just pooped her pretty little day up. what the hell happened to this place? I am guessing new management but wow, not the same anymore and NOT worth anymore future disappointments.

I got the worst customer service. Extremely rude people that didnt understand English. I asked for 4 beef tacos and they just couldnt handle it. I had to repeat myself 3 times. Then they tell me it was almost $10 for 4 tacos. I then got the overpriced tacos only to find out they were slathered in grease. The taco shells were crushed from what looked like a workers finger indention. The mystery beef was cold and grease filled. They put an entire salad in the tacos. Last and not least, I got sick from eating just one nasty taco. Stomach started cramping almost immediately after eating it. Dont go here. There is something wrong with this establishment and I let the health department know about it as well! I still dont know how you screw up tacos that bad!

Great food. But probably the worst customer service Ive ever experienced!! So it started as I drove to the counter the cashier already had attitude from the start he asks for my card I give it to him he hands me all of my items and I wait a couple more minutes for my card still nothing so I ask him for it he give me so much attitude saying hold up; THEN cussing to me in Spanish like Im not going to understand hello READ MY CARD Im Hispanic!!! I always go to this location because the food is good but not anymore! I always am ok with dealing with their usual female employee that has an attitude problem but this is just my breaking point. They need new management or something!

Messed up my order last time but I didnt notice until I got home. I tried calling a few times and nobody answered the phone so I let it slide. I gave it anther try tonight. I ordered a Chimi with NO salsa, NO guac, NO pico, NO onions of any kind. I checked my order before I left and it was full of onions. Turns out, some of their meats "come with onions". I then explained the situation to the Manager. She informed me they didnt "add any onions", even though the menu never mentioned onions and I was very clear when ordering. She said this was not their error and refused to offer a new Chimi or a replacement item of any kind. What happened to customer service? NEVER AGAIN

Taco Stars burritos and other items are great tasting and well priced. Since sadly moving away from the springs, I really miss places like Taco Star. Ive always been satisfied with food from Taco Star. Popular places to get burritos in the Broomfield area really suck, their burritos are much smaller, dont taste as good, their messy because they dont wrap them well, and they cost more! And people sadly think their getting something good..... Taco Star is the best! I just wish they would open a place in Broomfield to put the other crappy places out of business :)

I have lived all over and have traveled to many parts of the world... This is by far the BEST Mexican food I have ever had... And it is REAL, not processed food!! They are quaint and small (though they do have a dine-in place across town which I would giv th same rating/review), but you can take out-of-town friends and blow them away with how wonderful the food is here. I have moved back to North Carolina and wish that we had a Taco Star or something even close!
