I use to go here when I was a kid with living in Wiley City it was the closest so me and my mom went there often. I have been a customer off and on for lets say over 30 years. I have to say this is the best its been for a long time. Service was good and the food was fresh and not over cooked like alot of chinese food is. You have to try it.... dont take if you were there years ago that its the same now, especially if you didnt like it cause its not. Its very good and fresh. update on my review.......I went there the night after I wrote the above review. Service was slow and I left a $5 tip on my card at the table and was going to leave another $5 cash with the waitress until I heard them saying $5 and talking in chinese crap about my $5 tip.....needless to say I didnt leave the other $5 and left. SMH dont know if ill be back or may just do take out from now on.

Oh, Ding Ho.....if youve lived in Yakima long, youve driven by here! Honestly, I always assumed the worst about this place. The parking lot always has a few cars in it...and its been here for a long time, so I finally decided to check it out with my mom for lunch. As we walked in, we were greeted and promptly seated. The parking lot was pretty full and about half of the building was full. We decided to go with the buffet. There was some rice, chow mein, chicken (orange and almond sauce), some sort of pork and veggies, and egg drop soup. The soup and chicken were solid. Chow mein was ok, and we both werent big fans of the pork. I certainly wouldnt go out of my way to go here, but Ive paid a lot more for worse meals. In my opinion, its an ok option for lunch due to the good buffet price!

I have lived in Yakima my entire life and have eaten at most of the restaurants here in town. Unfortunately for me I made fun of the Ding Ho for years, with missing cat jokes among others. Well not long ago my wife talked me into a dining visit and much to my surprise the food and service was excellent and the prices were very affordable. OK now I have to eat my words and take back my several years of missing cat jokes among others. I have now programed their phone # into my contact list and have been back for take out since its on my way home from work. Another life lesson learned, dont criticize the food until youve tried it. A few bucks more than Panda Express but much better quality food. I highly recommend.

Born and raised in Yak. Went by Ding Ho for decades and finally decided to go in. I was pleasantly surprised. Very wide menu range. The waitress has been there forever and is a hoot. The phad thai is great. I hear that they used to have pretty stiff drinks but that, apparently, was in the past. The Mai Thai is a joke but I get it anyway (how about we add some alcohol?). I go somewhat regularly now - heading there now.

Definitely Ding Ho and Joy Garden the Asian food hot spots. Best Chinese Ive had in years. Fresh and natural flavor not because of seasoning but ingredients. Sauces were flavorful but gentle. Food was hot and totally good. I should have not driven by because nobody seems to be in parking lot. Family owned and nicely set up. Food is well worth it. Make this a lunch or dinner any time you need Chinese food.

Some of the best Chinese food in the valley. Family owned, great prices, fresh cooked food every time. Very laid back and relaxing atmosphere. Been going there every since the new owners took over. Previous owners gave it a bad name. Looking for a place to eat tonight..go ding the ho.
