Went there toady and like most, live near by and drive by never stopping. Well we went to Z Market and said what the Hay. Ive read everyones comments and will says yes the owner talks his food up a lot. Hey he is trying to drum up business. No they dont charge for water like one poster stated. Now on to the food, we had pozole, one of the best. Also had the Burger Verde with fries, the verde was awesome and the fries are perfect, the hamburger well they dont make it and wish he would. We will be back many more times. Nice old soda shop, nice owner with really good food. Give him a try.

Ive been driving past this place for far too long. Finally decided to load up my son and head here for some breakfast. We both ordered the "Chicken Fried Steak Tower" which includes hash browns, topped with a biscuit, topped with chicken fried steak, topped with your choice of egg, and finally smothered in your choice of gravy or chili verde. He got the pepper gravy and I got the chili verde. I have 1 word for both... wow! This is amazing stuff! Their chili verde is really good! The staff is very friendly. It doesnt look like much but its certainly worth stopping!

I tried the 6 layer breakfast stack (which was actually only 5 layers...) after the owner/server/cook/host gave us the sales pitch about how it was the best thing ever. It was...meh. There was so much gravy on it that everything tasted the same. The guy is likable and tries to joke and have fun, but the place is kind of distracting. It looks straight out of someones moms basement, meaning it is decorated like a teenagers bedroom, and has a goofy smell. Not the worst, far from the best.

I will admit I have driven past this place many times and never thought of stopping. What is even worse is I live in the area and love trying new places. From the moment we walked in we fell for n love with the place. The staff was great and the food is amazing. The chili verde is truly the best I have ever had. We will be eating here a lot ! My experience cant be described with words. I laughed so hard i had tears running down my face. The meal i had was called the tower and i recommed it 110%. Ron was hilarious. His comedic banter was the best and the hospitality is just like at home. If you drive past this little spot and dont stop youre an idiot. So damn awesome!!!!

Excellent service, super friendly staff and owner. We had the Tower with browns, 2 eggs, biscuit, chicken fried steak, topped with gravy! My husband had the white and I had the sausage gravy. Both were wonderful! We had to have the bowl of Chili Verde with chips of course, and were glad we did. We will be back!

Frozen chicken fried whatever it was. Gravy that was like putty(probably from a can or TV dinner). Hash browns were ok, but the portion was about four spoon fulls. I think the only fresh thing was the eggs(how can you fake those right?). And all for the low low price of $9.69. Disgusting!

Ron runs this little dive because its a hobby. As such, he likes to play in the kitchen and come up with new concoctions. The best has been his chili verde, really the best out of any northern Utah eatery.

Passionate owner and great food! The atmosphere is less then perfect but the verde its by far the greatest Ive ever had. Dont be turned off by the entrance or you will miss out on excellent food.
