First thing Id like to point out is that if your going to this restaurant & expecting quality & 5 start restaurant service then your outta luck, most buffets such as these usually attract poor people on a budget or people who want to feed a lot of people without spending to much so to those whinning about how gross & poor looking this place is shut up & get your supposedly rich crack to red lobster. Now as a former employee of this location I can say I have a problem with this place in terms of management, sanitary, employees, & customers. First there are several managers & only 2 are very nice, the others care more about making money then the happiness of their employee & customers, they are always rite & will bully you & harass you for no reason, like a dirty cop abusing his power. Secondly, Sanitary. Ive seen several customers not wash their hands after using the restroom & touch the food spoons or the actual food. Cooks will use food that has fallen on the ground because of fear of being harassed by the manager. Thirdly most servers (not all) will pretend to be nice yet say so many nasty things about you behind your bak either a customer or co worker, they start very intense drama in the work place that divides the restaurant & makes it a very hard place to work in. last but not least the customers this place attracts are very rude to the employees (not all customers) but the majority, they demand things & call you names, they expect quality in every place in the restaurant, they treat the servers like maids & housekeepers then leave without leaving tips, the servers make very little an hour & these horrid customers along with everything else make this one of the worst places to ever work in!

This is not a high quality buffet. If the filthy, middle aged men in tank tops, (sweat dripping from their armpits) dont make you sick, most of the food will. This is a favorite haunt for midday painters, concrete workers and every form of construction worker. The blue collar workers who eat here do not clean themselves up. Its sickening to have to smell the foul body odor and look at these people while walking through the buffet line. The food, mediocre at best, tastes like its prepared hastily. The salmon on the dinner menu tastes like its from a can. The female manager here is very nice however and she always takes the time to speak with the restaurant patrons. I recommend that you dine at Mimis cafe in Murray, 5223 South state street. The only thing good about this buffet is the sweet female manager who has a genuine interest in the people who dine here. Truly, she is a shining example of how a manager should be....kind, considerate and devoted to her calling. If you are forced to dine here, go for the cow liver and onions. This is the only entree that I will give a five star rating.

Horrible customer service. I think highly of restaurants that maintain good customer service and make sure food is safe and tasty, I noticed that management encourages employees to ignore food safety hazards, when I was there I noticed the employees mixing old food with new food, which allows the possibility of food poisoning, I tried to correct the employee but he tried to assure me that is is safe and management allows it. I am beyond disappointed in this safety hazard as elderly, pregnant women and children eat here and may be given food poisoning because of some idiot manager trying to lower food waste at the cost of safety. And the waitresses there treated me like I was a burden when ordering a drink, I highly recommend that you choose another establishment as I am sure you will not be impressed to say the least.

The food here at this location is usually pretty good. Salad and condiments always seem fresh and are always stocked. The food bar selection for breakfast is ok, there isnt a lot offered. However, for lunch and dinner it is plentiful. Coffee is ok, but kind of watered down. The last time I was there during the handoff from breakfast to lunch on Saturday, the coffee had a funny taste to it. Not sure if old or not brewed right? Only other complaint is sometimes the steaks arent cooked right. I have had requested a medium cooked steak in the past and have gotten rare, only seared on the outside. However, there is plenty of selection for desserts and they have always been great! Overall 3/5 because the food is still good, but could have been better in the situations listed above. This isnt a one time occurrence.

They never seem to have a week done steak, the cook almost seems like he hates to cook them all the way. They pack you in so tight that getting up and sitting down is so annoying you just get up once . But having a lot if people in my family is great when you have picky eaters. The staff are not very attentive, they might come around to refill your soda once, if your on the outside of the tables, but then your outside the tables and everybody walking by get to shuffle past watching you eat. Coughing, yelling, talking near your food. So it varies on the experience one night it might be nice, the next time might not be so great

Has gone down hill fast. This is my kids favorite place to eat out, but this location has been going down hill for the last year and I dont think I will be going back. The last time we were there all the food was either over or under-cooked and most of the staff felt rushed. My 3 year old daughter had to use the restrooms while we were their and they were absolutely destructing (just like the time before) --poop on the floor and toilet seats. I advised a staff member of the issue and checked again before we left (45 minutes later) and it had not been cleaned up yet. Luckily the other bathroom was at least usable.

Terrible!!!! Food poisoning!!!! Girl at the register was so rude, almost turned around and left. The food was puking disgusting, I only got one plate because there was nothing I wanted 2nds of (waste of money), I seriously could have made everything MUCH better at home. Steak was dry, bland and bloody rare (food poisoning)! Waitresses completely forgot about our table nearly the whole time we were there. The next morning I couldnt keep my breakfast down because of food poisoning from whatever nasty meat I ate the night before from Golden Corral. I am never ever going back. Ever!!

Horrible!!!!!!! Use to be a loyal customer my family use to eat there 2 times a week but our last experice was a nitemare. they have no coustomer service and treated me my wife mother and 2 kids horrible...then when i called back to get managers Number i was too as the guy who just left put on a long hold ask for my name and number then was insulted for being disabled and not the brightest guy in the world cause i ask for him to repeat a phone number..not that this post will matter the coprate giant want miss a dime from me and my family of disabled income supported individuals

The best dinning experience at a buffet style restaurant in my life and believe me Ive been to Atlantic city,Vegas,wendover,reno not even close. Clean, fresh food fresh vegitables .heck my girlfriend hates fish but fell in love with there battered shrimp. I hate onion rings but absolutely fell in love with their onion rings. Our waitress was polite and the manager Brian made every person in the resturaunt feel like a VIP. Class act Midvale, golden corral. Now if only the others could follow the example of this one. What a franchise that would be.
