This is my new favorite place. As a vegetarian, it is so awesome to be able to go to a buffet and try ALL the things - and I did ^_^ The dosi (potato crepe) was great, but as we stared at it, perplexed at how to go about eating the huge crepe that mostly closely approximated a ginormous burrito, the owner came by and showed us how to eat it with the proper sauces and accompanying soup. I will say that a meal could be made just out of the dosi + soup. The eggplant dish was awesome, the butter sauce was great. I will admit I actually came back and got take out the next day, too, because it had been 24 hours and I missed it all so much.

After reading good reviews I went to this place with family, my experience is not good, the guy who takes the order needs to learn decent way to treat customer, looking at the menu I am surprised to see $3.99 for Naan this is way too ridiculous high price although other items are priced well and asked him how big will be Naan as it is $3.99 , his response was dont order looking at the price , I thought will he pay the order or I will pay , he never answered my question how big the naan, it is insulting, panner shahi kurma is good , never order veggi manchuria horrible

Over the years, I have visited tens of Indian restaurants around the US. There are quite a few Indian restaurants with great food. But, good service is always a challenge with most of the Indian restaurants. Ruchi was absolutely amazing in terms of good food combined with great hospitality. I dont just go to places that serve good foot but treat you like S*&%. Ruchi gave me a complete experience in terms of great food, cleanliness, follow-up, hospitality and a decent price for the food. Strongly recommend!

Weve been here several times and the food is awesome. A friend recommended the restaurant, her husband is vegetarian and from southern Indian. She said its his favorite restaurant, and I can totally see why. I have food allergies and my fiance is vegan. We dont have limited options with this menu, and the food is super flavorful. The family that owns Ruchi obviously takes great pride in their food and their service. The prices are very reasonable for the quantity and quality of the food. Well be back.

Incredible and friendly service. Best restaurant in Phoenix regardless of the style. The Gobi is unbelievably great! We have been back many times and I have introduced many of my friends to Ruchi and all agree that it is awesome. One of my friends now goes back several times a week! I am not Indian and have never been to India, so I cant speak to the authenticity of the food. But if this is not how they make it in India, then they should change how they make it in India! Must try.

I drive all the way from the city of maricopa for this food. Every time I eat here, or do carry out, I am just blown away by the freshness and intricate spicing of their food. My father travels to India a couple of times a year for business, and absolutely loved how authentic their food is. I am not vegetarian, but prefer their food to any other indian restaurant in the valley. So amazing, seriously! I heard the buffet was good as well, but havent made it in for that yet.

This is one of my top 3 favorite restaurants ever. They have an amazing selection of food and clearly mark all the vegan options. The lunch buffet always puts me into a food coma. So much food, such a good price, and so many wonderful flavors. The owner is incredibly friendly and always comes to chat with us. I highly recommend this restaurant. Id eat here every day if I could. Favorite dishes are the baingan bharta and Gobi Manchurian.

Indian food relies so much on using fresh ingredients. Ruchi holds true to that. There was even some drumstick soaking in a tub on the counter for sambar! I had the rava dosa which was delicious with fresh ground coconut chutney. For appetizers, the pakora was crisp and hot, and the chaat was tangy and flavorful. Absolutely authentic and real food in a pleasant environment with great service.

Great flavors and unlimited sambar! Ive only had their South-Indian food but they do offer some North-Indian food as well. Its a family run restaurant and they provide excellent service. My personal favorites are Maisoor Masala Dosai and Onion Chili Uttapam. My wife really enjoys the Cheese and Veggies Dosai. Their falooda is really good as well. Note that this is a vegetarian restaurant.

My girlfriend and I were in the greater Phoenix area visiting her family and we stumbled on this restaurant via the veganphx Instagram. We got the garlic naan, also gobi, and one of the rice crepe dishes. Absolutely outstanding! Best meal Ive had in a while and now Im slightly depressed that I dont have anything of this quality at home. I will certainly be stopping by again!

I would give Ruchi 10 stars if I could! The food is the most amazing food we have ever eaten. My husband and I eat the buffet at least once a week. Raj is so warm and welcoming, and goes out of his way to provide a great experience every time we eat there. If you are new to Indian food, this is the place to try. You will fall in love, I promise!

Went for Dinner, had the Kancheepurum Iddy appetizer, then House Specialty Gobi Manchurian with Garlic Paratha. Everything was delicious, Ive never had anything like this before. Service by Raj and his Mom were great, along with Rajs patient explanations. My choices were Rajs recommendations and spot on! We will be back!

The food is genuine Indian ethnic food. Very HOT, spicy, with no alert on the menu or possibility of ordering without the spices. If you like that, this is your place. Many Indians were dining here, entire families. The place must be good for that reason. Who would have thought genuine Indian food in Chandler?

Service was really good but food was not that impressive and upto the mark. We have ordered idli and dahi wada which was not fresh. Dahi wada supposed to be soft but we found it very hard same with the idli. Even dosas which we ordered were not even upto the mark we are very disappointed with the food quality.

Food and service are fantastic. I tried the paneer butter masala my first time here and it was so good thats what I order every time. The owner and family are very nice, and the care they have for this restaurant really shows. It has a very homey feel (in a good way).

Great vegetarian Indian food...as it should be. What a shame that "vegetarian" is now an exception specialty Indian cuisine. You know, most Indians used to actually believe in reincarnation and karma enough to NOT eat the flesh of helpless animals. Hare Krishna!

Avoid this place... Trust me and you will thank me. I found hair in my food and all I get is sorry and no follow-up to replace it. The food , dont get me started. Stale , reheated food and no taste. And the $$ that you pay at end, is money down the drain.
