Been to a few tropical smoothie locations and his one is definitely the worst. Worth the extra drive to the Rochester location. The drive trough always takes priority over the dine in customers. Wait time is excessive every time. Last time I went there I forgot to ask yo have them split into two cups until after we rang up. He made me start a new order and swipe my card for the 25 cent cup charge. I thought he was joking. Then it came in one cup and the employee was rude about splitting it again enforcing the 25 cent charge, to which I informed her I paid and she waited to check with the cashier about it before splitting it into two cups for me...all this over one extra cup? Just seemed a bit excessive Love the smoothies and flatbreads though!

This cute, little island-themed shop sits on the edge of Troy/Clawson. As others have mentioned, simply sign up for their text club and youll earn a free smoothie - and trust me, these smoothies are HUGE! Once youre in the door for that first smoothie, youre pretty much hooked. Everything is super healthy and grilled (key word) to perfection. There are options for vegetarians too, along with healthy sides for a complete and filling meal. As for the smoothies, I someday plan on trying them all -- theres so many to choose from!

I love Tropical Smoothie Cafe! I seriously wouldnt even consider going anywhere else to get a smoothie without expecting it to be sub-par compared to TSC. Ive only had the food from here a few times, but from what Ive experienced, its just as good as the smoothies. The text club is an awesome bonus, too! Its always nice to be sitting at work and get a text message for a discounted smoothie - gives me yet another reason to stop by on my way home from work!

I absolutely love and recommend the Hawaiian Breeze and Tropi-Colada smoothies. I also tried the Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich - it was delicious. Because I am a "calorie counter," I get the smoothies with "no added sweeteners" and it tremendously reduces the calorie count. Sometimes, I will have them add Splenda which also reduces the calorie count a lot. The "Smoothie and a Half" is a really good lunch option, too.

Slow! Amazingly slow. The smoothies are, for the most part, pretty good. However, the wait is unbelievable. Came in when the place was empty and I ordered a single smoothie. Sat down to wait. A line of 12 people cam in after my order was in. They proceeded to prepare sandwiches and smoothies for all of those people before helping me. Waited a grand total of 35 minutes for a single smoothie.

Best smoothies around, but the wait is unbelievably long every time. Not unusual to wait 15-20 minutes even when the location seems pretty slow. Plan ahead, and order ahead with their app. Although that does nothing for when the Cafe is closed, but drive thru is open; another decision Ill never understand since it takes away the ability to order ahead and shorten the wait.

For a long time I was upset that we dont have Jamba Juice here in Michigan. Other smoothie places have come and gone taking me on a bit of a smoothie induced emotional rollercoaster! Finally I discovered TSC (and with it the Acai Berry Boost Smoothie) and life has been good ever since! Now if we can just get a downtown Royal Oak location to open things will REALLY be good!

This place had alright food and the smoothie I ordered had too much orange but that was fine. My only gripe was how filthy the place was. None on the tables were wiped and there were bits of spilled whatever and food, the kitchen floor was nasty, and the ceiling was covered in brown leak spots. Not sure if Ill come back to this location or not.

Tropical smoothie is always a treat for me! The soy peanut paradise smoothie is my favorite. For breakfast you cant beat the Pesto Paradise flatbread! So delicious that I have to be careful not to over-do it. The staff is always very friendly, welcoming and clean. Its always a great expierience dining Tropical Smoothie in Clawson. Thanks!

I will never come back here again! I used to come here all the time and today the cashier messed up my order and charge me twice. When i went back up there a few hours later the refused to refund me my money even though it showed it clearly that i was charged twice. Poor customer service and the owner was less than helpful as well.

This was our first time trying this place and boy are we suprised. The staff was very polite and very helpful. I felt like we were talking to hr face to face over the intercom. But the smoothie itself is awesome! Im in love! And to top if off they are all low fat. This will be my new breakfast place. U have to try it...

Great smoothies, great food, and the woman that I always see at the drive through on my lunch is very friendly and helpful. One star off because the drive through access is not great (you cant leave the line once youre in it), and their system for scanning the app is down about 1/3 of the times Ive been there.

Their smoothies are good but their employees ruin all the stores image. The drive-thru in this location is very slow and they like to make fun outloud to people who cant find a word at the moment. I was asking for a cup holder and theres a chubby black lady cracking all laughs in the back with her team.

Ive tried a bunch of different smoothies from Tropical Smoothie so far and Ive loved them all. There is a great variety of choices and its nice to have the low-fat options as well. The workers are always very friendly, but most of the time you have to wait awhile.

tHIS IS THE LONGEST TIME IVE EVER HAD TO WAIT FOR MY MEAL THAT WAS PREPARED BY SOME UNDERPAID COLLAGE KID! I had to wait a total of 2 minutes and the tempature of my food must of dropped at least two degrees! Completely unaceptable! Good food though.

First time here and it was delicious beyond my expectations! Quick service and friendly staff. Ordered a Hummus Veggie Wrap and a Triple Berry Oat Smoothie and words cant even describe how great it was. Definitely coming back.... Real soon!!!

The smoothies were good, good Ingredients, the choice of sigar, no-sugar, or splenda. Quick service at the drive through. A little pricey, but you get the fresh ingredients that u pay for. Havent tried the sandwiches or salads yet though.

Great choices for people not wanting to have a bunch of added sugars and the food comes pretty quickly considering its real eggs, real chicken, etc. A bit more money than down the street at McDs and elsewhere but the quality is way better.
