First thing I had here was some Kari leaves dry chicken that was good. But Having a bad experience with chicken Kabab platter one day, I was utilizing this for vegetarian dishes only, but today he even lost that part of the business from me. I was the lone person when entered the premises at 9 PM sunday... then I didnt get my masala dosa in 45 minutes... then at that time he came me and ask do you need Sambhar !!!! What !!! after 45 minutes you tell me do you need Sambhar with my Dosa !!!! I said of-course and that got additional 10-15 minutes and even after that wait the Sambhar was pathetic ! ... it was not lentil soup but lentil water !!!

This place changed there name recently like maybe couple of months ago. Tried it before and after its the same spices arent great taste bland and I asked for mild a 5 it was a little more spicier than I like but if it had a better taste in curry I think I would of liked it better. I got the chicken vindaloo and yea no go I wont be going here anymore I gave them two chances Im done. Indian Spice and Simis are my choice for Indian dinning. Hope this helps others when deciding.

Beyond the magic. Fantastic dinner with a class service. The mono just melted in mouth. The chicken Nikki Marsala is prepared in real authentic way creamy, rich and perfect amount of texture of spices. I heard about chef Run a lot in real he is just too good. Keep it up your venture and enthusiasm in the neighborhood. Castro district and Noe valley should be lucky to have another choice of in do Himalayan flavor.

Tried this place for 3 times, and all the time i had to ask for spoons even i ordered a la carte. First time they even served the food on the table but forget to provide the plates!! And today I was stunned to find STEEL WOOL from a stainless steel scrubbing pad straight in the food. Attaching a photo for reference. They offered me the replacement but I lost my all interest. Never going back here...

This place is incredible. This is hands-down the best Indian cuisine Ive ever tasted. The spices are perfect. Seriously amazing food! Ive had the saag paneer and the chicken tikka masala, and both were so tasty and delicious. In addition, the staff are always friendly and welcoming and the prices are very reasonable. I was so impressed with this restaurant. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Service was poor, many menu items werent available - I mean, how hard would it be to have Tomato Soup and masala papad; and thats too 3 hours before the official closing time and on Sat evening. I would have given one star; however, there were many folks at this place and assuming they must have enjoyed evening. My personal experience, was horrible.

Ive had better Indian food in San Antonio. The lamb samosas were over seasoned and their curry was mediocre. Also, they only serve bottles of water vs what other restaurants normally have and only the first bottle is complementary. I need my water especially when the food is spicy! India palace is way better.

I need to return to try more menu items, maybe the buffet for lunch if thats a thing. The Amaravati biryani I had was superb! Im also a keen chai drinker, and I was happy with the masala chai. The staff were helpful, honest, very accommodating to our leisurely pace of gustatory indulgence.

Food is great, good ambience for meals with family and friends. Mostly been on Lunch and their buffet is good . Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are great. Bit on the spicier side but thats ok with me as I prefer that.

The food is good and regionally different from other Indian restaurants but the service is TERRIBLE!!! I REALLY have to want to go there and must be prepared to go somewhere else if theyre not ready to serve, even theyre "open".

Awesome Indian food! Five stars. The crab fry special in the buffet was delicious. Love the buffet and the wonderful service. Try the chicken 65 and Mirapa Kodi with Biryani and Mango Lassi!!!!
