So this was our go to place they had the best sweet tea and food and great service so we get what we always get before dinner which is cheese Fries Well I noticed this black bug in the fires so I went to get it out but SOMETHING WAS MOVING BETWEEN MY FINGERS! So I Through it on the table and its was a MAGGOT!!! We were so Disgusted We just kept staring at it Squirm On the table And if you looked back at the plate of fires you could see all the maggots squirming around on the plate ew! my husband called our waitresses over and showed her the maggot on the table she Apologized And got the manager he asked if we wanted new fries!! Uh no why would we want more maggots ew! He told us our dinner was on him but we didnt even want to eat anymore we just left! Made me not want to eat out anymore!

We walked into Cotton Patch at about 5:00 PM on a Sunday. We were directed to a table by the hostess, after she finished her conversation with the other hostess. My father and I sat down and two minutes later he excused himself to use the restroom. After he came back, another two minutes pass, and I excused myself to wash my hands. By the time I come back, which has been approximately 5-7 minutes at this point, we still hadnt been greeted. We continue to wait another 2-3 minutes, still, no one comes to our table. There were at least 5-6 servers in the restaurant and out of about 30 tables, only 4-5 were occupied, aside from us. We walked out. Ridiculous. If the service is this bad, imagine how the food is. Dont waste your time.

Left my sunglasses on the table by accident at this location and they were not put into Lost & Found. Nothing that I can prove, but odds are that one of the staff stole them. I even went back the next day in hopes that I would be surprised by humanity, but alas, exactly what I expected. Enjoy the Ray Bans jerk. I will be boycotting this business and spreading the word about my experience. Aside from the stolen property, the last two times we ate here, they got my wifes order completely wrong. By the time it was resolved, I had finished my food, BOTH times. Worst. Staff. Ever.

My family and I came to have some chicken fried steak and all our chicken fried steak was not done, it was too tough and it had no taste at all. My waitress was horrible, when we told her we didnt like the food she didnt do anything about it. The manager didnt come ask if we are ok. I will not be going back. Worst experience ever!!

Granted its Sunday afternoon, but we waited 25 min to get our table. Now we sat down it is 45 minutes And counting to get our food. I have seen 2 tables with larger coups sit down after us and now get their food before us. To top it all off we have only seen put waitress 3 times. This place has gone way down hill since opening.

My daughter got a steak and it was cooked perfectly. Beyond that, the food was pretty average. Dont get me wrong, it was good just not spectacular. Waitress was attentive which is always a plus but our food took quite a while to come out. For my family it was a nice spot to eat lunch but nothing to write home about.

I ordered the Norwegian Grilled Salmon, but it was a overcooked. The server was quick to notice the siuation, then sent the manager over to handle it when I refused to have it recooked. Both went above and beyond to make it right, even removing it from my check. I was very impressed with their customer service.

Went for a meeting with a large group. The Salmon Cesar Salad was good but there may have been a bit too much garlic in the dressing because it was a little spicy. Not that I dont like spicy, but it was not expected. The childs plate with burger and fries was highly enjoyed by my 14 month old son.

This is a very good place where you can have good american food. Any time food is great! I love all those young friendly people who work here: they are pretty busy but so welcoming, helpful and patient! Thank you all! I wish ot would be less crowded but itsa good sign for a business.

Food was alright. Fried Catfish was bland. Cost more than we expected. Its been years since we have gone to one and it seemed to cost a whole lot more for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids than it did before. Service was good and not too long of a wait for a Sunday afternoon.

We went late on a Sunday night after a swim meet. Everyone was very friendly and attentive although there was only one other group in the restaurant. Food was great (love the bread); portions are big. Definitely would go again when I am in the area.

We visited again last week. Food and service were above average, as usual, but the iced tea - what happened? Weak and pathetic. You cant call that dishwater SWEET TEA in Texas and not get called on it. No excuse for it and wont pay for that again.

My mom has an egg allergy and this is the 1st restaurant weve been to that actually had an allergy listing book! She was SO happy to be able to enjoy chicken fried steak for the 1st time in a very long time. Super impressed and will be back!

I know it was late but they were still open.....my Peach Cobbler was NOT cooked. The crust was doughy. But otherwise, everyone in our party was happy with what they ordered. Better LUCK next time.
