As we leave Muto after our first visit, we are completely satisfied. Our meal was as comforting as it gets. Its at once homey and expertly prepared. The greeting that welcomed us rang sincere rather than rote. For the last two weeks, I have been craving a good Gyudon, wishing that there was a Yoshinoya around here. Muto is THE spot for the real thing. They use quality, well-marbled beef that is sliced very thinly. The meat along, with onions, is simmered in sukiyaki broth before topping a bowl of rice. This tasty Beef Bowl may be the best lunch deal at $8.50. Curry Ramen is not commonly found on restaurant menus. It is more a homey comfort food, and it hit the spot. Their Beef Curry sauce was diluted into a thick broth. The Ramen noodles were very good, perfectly cooked to a chewy, al dente. The accompanying egg was perfectly cooked to an almost runny yolk. This is a great bowl for a cold winter day. We love Izakaya style dining, and they have a nice menu for it along with a Sushi and Ramen sections. We will be returning often. They are our new love.

First thing the waitress said to our table was: "there is a 18% service charge for a party of 6", instead of smiling or giving us tableware. Our meal came with the miso soup, but we waited forever... so we asked if they missed our soup order, the response we got was "oh, we ran out of it", then stared at us. The service was terrible. At least let customer know when you ran out of something! they never wouldve said anything if I didnt ask for my soup. If the waitress was more polite, it wouldve been better. This is the worst experience Ive ever had and I am not going to mutos anymore. When we got our bill, the waitress already wrote the tip and total amount on our receipt. She couldve just circled the 18% service charge and let us write the total amount and sign it ourselves. If we agreed to pay 18%, we will. I believe the restaurant cannot write the tip amount for customer.

This is easily the best chu-toro in the city. Go on Fridays the chef flies it within 8 hours from hokkaido fish market in Japan. I lived in Hawaii for years and today I had better toro than when my friends and I would catch it ourselves day of in HI. This place is something really special if you want true japanese style sashimi. The atmosphere and service are excellent as well. Great experience every time. -Loyal customer for life as long as they are around. Drive up from Bellevue every week.

We were not impressed with the rolls. We ordered the Big/super drain roll and a customized roll with hamachi inside and seared salmon on top. The rice was really mushy. The eel on top of the dragon roll was also mushy. Felt like eating baby food. The seared salmon had no taste. The poke salad portion was very small. Not worth the money. Whats worth the money is salmon kama (collar) and also the hamachi kama which we liked. Wed be back to try other dishes but disappointed with the rolls.

The sashimi there is very fresh and tasty. I highly recommend the sea urchin, geoduck and scallop nigiri. And especially the uni (sea urchin) sashimi, cuz its from Santa Barbara, so fresh, tender, rich and melty. The ika (calamari) nigiri is also very good and different from other Japanese restaurant because it has perilla leaf inside, which makes the whole taste very special. Btw, the tempura ice cream dessert is one of the must-haves as well.

ラーメンはリーズナブルで 美味しいスープを使っています。お寿司もにぎりのポーションやネタがとても良い大きさで 酢の加減も好みに合って美味しいです。他の一品も種類が多く楽しめます。

I went with the Miso garlic spicy ramen, based in most people recommendation here, I felt that the garlic was not pronanuce strong enough and the Miso was too mild. The noodle was cooked perfectly and the roast pork was a good companion to the ramen. I will try to come several times to try other ramen from their menu.

Incredible ramen for a small shop in the middle of lynnwood. I had no clue something so good was so close. We got the crab cream croquettes and shio ramen, which was incredibly tasty and could not stop eating. I know Ill be coming here more for sure!

A good place for fresh Sushi. I was very impressed by the spicy tuna roll. However the curry ramen I tried last time was very oily and not appetizing at all. Over all a great environment though and very cozy for a Japanese restaurant.

I got the seaweed salad (standard quality), tuna roll (great), and seattle roll (great). For me, the key to sushi is the execution. I usually order the simpler rolls. These guys did those ones right.

Muto is a really great Japanese restaurant. Mina, the hostess, is warm and on the ball. Of the ramen, I recommend the green onion flavor. They have seasonal offerings on sushi.

Excellent ramen, fresh fish (for my wifes bowl). And my really picky kid likes the place. The hostess is very courteous and polite too. Will be coming back here regularly.

I visited here couple of times. Has decent food. I liked it. This place is more like bar. With a Little bit dark lighting, it is good atmosphere for drinking.
