The Mom and Pop Stop for breakfast today brings us to my favorite mom & pop around! Big shout out to The Pickle Barrel Restaurant & Deli on Pleasant Street in Worcester. My date had the everything omelet with homefries and toast, which was delicious, even have leftovers for 2nd breakfast, while I enjoyed the corned beef hash with 2 over medium homefries and toast. The corned beef hash is THE ABSOLUTE BEST in the city in my opinion. Service was quick, our server was very attentive and treated us like family. The coffee is also the best around, strong and delicious. The owner, Gus, takes great pride in delivering a great product and service at a great price. I give The Pickle Barrel Restaurant and Deli two thumbs up, I highly recommend this place, we will be back again!

Been here multiple times and every time Ive had a bad experience. The first time I went I got chicken and waffles and they gave me uncooked chicken and a cold waffle!! Then I went again and wanted mac and cheese... they gave me box mac n cheese!! My fiance got buffalo chicken and they gave him regular tenders... both times I had the same waitress and she isnt attentive at all, I constantly have to ask to have my water filled and she never checks in about the food.

This place is literally a Diamond in the Ruff. The Service is Great, the food is great, the prices are great...Butttt you also have to worry about your car getting robbed. Regardless, we will be returning, the staff works VERY hard and the owners know what people keep coming back for. Its restaurants like this that develop a loving atmosphere from the inside that will hopeful flow over into the streets of Worcester.

It was alright. Had the chicken and waffles with a side of Kielbasa. The kielbasa was the best part of the meal. The waffles were not soft and fluffy but kinda cold when they came to my table and kinda stale tasting and the chicken was just okay. The staff is very friendly though and checks in regularly Three stars for customer service and the kielbasa

Ordered my dinner and wanted to put it on my card but the guy said he would call me back and hung up on me. Then an hour goes by and I call back and have to reorder, the guy apologizes but it still takes them another hour to deliver my fish and chips. When it finally gets delivered to me its ice cold and soggy. Never ordering from here again!

The place to eat breakfast lunch and diner the waitress are friendly and the owner Gus Giannakis its a wonderful person the food s great and the place s very clean im lucky to leave 3 minutes walk from them. THE BEST FOOD AND PLACE TO GO FOR GOOD FOOD AND FRINDLY PEOPLE .Love PICKLE BARREL :)

Decent food but my problem is that I have spend a good chunk of the day in my work bathroom. My brother, who I work with and also ate there with, has been doing much of the same. The only out of the ordinary thing I have eaten today has been from this place. Draw your own conclusions.

My mother ordered a baked haddock dinner. It took three hours for it to be delivered. She ate it and became immediately sick. She called to complain and was told that they were closed; and no resolution was offered. She will never order food here again. Avoid if you can.
