Found this little gem as we passed through off a detour from I-10. Thought the sandwiches were wonderful. My dad tried the onion rings with his pulled pork sandwich and they were awesome! My chicken salad was delightful and the ingredients were so fresh! We saw someone get a fruit plate and it looked really fresh and delicious as well.

Something very special in a small town. Puts this on your "must try" list. You really have to try the breadpudding. So far I havent found one better than Old Cafes, and Ive tried several. Other favorites include, pulled pork sandwich, quiche, and thier salads. Have to say I havent tried it all yet...

We heard about this place right before we were going to leave for a trip to New Orleans with friends and decided to add it to the itinerary. We loved it. The food was amazing home cooked meals and the vintage atmosphere was fun. One of the best meals of the trip!

the food was just ok, but the hostess was extremely rude, and the wait staff followed her up with indifference over taking our order and filling our drinks, it was over priced for the bad attitude we received- we will not be going back.

Good food. Seating is often a challenge. Often times, it is service with an attitude particularly from the hostess. Over the years, the menu has slimmed down and they have done away with the chips and salsa. I want my chips!

This place is definitely a local four. Might be more of a 3.5 somewhere else. Service was pleasant, attentive, and tolerant, food was tasty. No complaints.

Wonderful soups, salads and sandwiches....Specials everyday include dessert.......fresh grilled seafood......shrimp is to die for. Just good food, period!
