Heard a lot of hype, perhaps I was expecting too much. They were NOT rushed. We were the only people in the shop. Service was great and very friendly. Fried potato chips were overdone, almost burnt. As for the sandwich, I got a Shrimp Po Boy and it was fairly well made but DROWNED in a remoulade that was a bit salty and just WAY too strong. The genius of a Po Boy is the way the shrimp works against the relish, has a hint of old bay, has a nice crusty bread, and features a nice remoulade. In this case all I could taste was the remoulade. It wasnt my worst sandwich ever, but the place had gotten raves on Restaurant Hunter. remind me never to trust that show for its picks. Everything they taste is "just amazing." This is a place I wont soon visit again.

First visit. Food was very good. I had the fried chicken plate. My mistake was I ordered it to go. Perhaps this is a better place to sit and eat when you have the time. My order took a half hour. Mainly because the woman in charge of putting the orders together was obviously overwhelmed. I watched her bag, unbag and rebag several orders, several times. Food was delicious, but unless they come up with a better system of organization, they will be short-lived.

I stopped by Mason Sandwich to get lunch when doing errands in the neighborhood. So happy that I did. My turkey sandwich with avocado was amazing! One of the best sandwiches Ive ever eaten. Im definitely going back to try some of the other sandwich and salad selections on their menu. Great food and great service.

First time and certainly not the last. The food is actually pretty damn amazing. I could write a long review, but it wouldnt do the taste of the food justice. If this is your first time, go with the Chickwhich... then anything else you want when you visit again. Great staff and great food!

Awesome sandwich place, about a dozen choices with new special sandwiches each week. The sandwiches arent cheap, so expect to pay Westchester prices but the quality is outstanding. You can eat in or get take-out, atmosphere is diner style.

Every item on the menu is delicious, not overpriced and cooked to order!! Staff are very attentive, friendly and service is excellent. This Eastchester Gem deserves higher than a 5 star rating!!!!

Excellent little sandwich shop! I was blown away by their fried chicken sandwich and my friends were as well with the fried fish and Cuban. Not the largest place but worth the visit.
