The atmosphere was great! The staff was attentive and diligent in their work and very friendly. Im a big seafood fiend so the catch definitely in a way epitomized my ideal seafood restaurant even if it is just a little quaint store that is over looked by the bigger chains. Id definitely say give them a try. I wish I could have gotten there in time for crawfish season, but maybe next time, but that didnt stop me from getting a basket of fried crawfish on a bed of Cajun fries. The only real critique Ill give is that I wish the yield of fried crawfish was slightly more because in a way it didnt feel like there was enough in comparison to the fries and hush puppies which were the bomb by the way.. I give the place 5 stars!

Omg, I was at Wal Mart and saw all the people pulling in and walking into the restaurant. I wanted something to snack on after my walwalk which I do occasionally when Im gymed out. I buy stuff too. Anyways I waited in the drive thru a little longer but I ordered the admirals catch with everything grilled but oysters and crawfish. It was delicious. I had so much food I had to refridge it. I ate the fried stuff on my way home with the fries and the hush pups. The grilled stuff, I had fish tacos, shrimp and rice, and chicken sandwich. I cant wait to go back and try the gumbo.

I called in my order and was told it would be ready in about 10 minutes. I got to the restaurant about 15 minutes later and told the lady at the speaker that I was there for a call-in order. After pulling up to the window like she asked, I waited another 20 minutes before anyone even came to the window. I was the only person in line. About 45 minutes from the time I called my order in, I finally received my food. I drove less than 5 minutes to get home, opened the box, and the food was cold and soggy. Im so disappointed.

Just spent 25 minutes in the drive through only to spend $9.00 on a styrofoam box with a bed of fries and 4 shrimp on top. Really, 4 shrimp. Worst part is I tried calling for more than 15 minutes and they wont answer. Food was good, what little there was, but for that money Ill go somewhere I can leave fed. I hope this was just a boo boo, the food was good but small portions, there were plenty of fries, seems the portions were backwards. I may be wrong but for the first impression, I may skip it next time.

Today my mom and I tried The Catch for the first time and I must say we were not at all disappointed! The food was great and so was the service. Even though they were busy, the staff was so kind, polite and attentive. I had the fried catfish and shrimp that was fried to perfection, and the jumbo shrimp was just wonderful! My mom had the shrimp and grits which she enjoyed too! I think weve just found our new favorite spot, we will be coming back again soon! If you havent tried this place youre missing out!

Really good food but they need better quality control on togo orders. Had the chicken tender, shrimp, and catfish combo today and they didnt give me my hushpuppies but unfortunately I didnt notice until I got home. Fish was cooked perfectly and was very fresh. No muddy taste like some other places in town. Shrimp was also cooked perfectly, was fresh, and well seasoned. The chicken tenders are great as well. Really wish I would have gotten my hush puppies though. Prices are very reasonable.

This restaurant is a typical counter order sit down and Ill bring you the food all the food the shrimp are unbelievable something you would expect to find on the streets of Breaux Bridge or perhaps New Orleans or maybe a beach in Florida the fish is great shrimp are wonderful the breading is something thats unbelievable its light flower light meal and a little something extra that I havent identified yet maybe corn flour or Crush corn flakes its no doubt top-notch and Ill no doubt be back

I tried the Catch first in Tyler and was not at all impressed - my fries were soggy and food seemed over price for the amount given. It made me weary of trying the Longview location but gave it a shot. Glad I did because this is 100% better. Friendly, and attentive service. They even gave me a complimentary frozen magarita (God Bless America) Granted I have only tried the kids meals items, but all have been excellent and the portions surprisingly big which makes me happy. Good work

When they 1st opened, huge portions real catfish fillets, food seasoned well, very good. A few wks later, ok portions, catfish is now cut into nuggets. Just went this past monday, I dont know what kind of fish that was. I know it wasnt tilapia or white fish. Grits are very nasty, only thing that I like is the shrimp and chicken strips. So for that price i might as well go to fishermans market, at least I know what Im eating. What happened to this place?

I enjoyed the catfish and shrimp combo. Wished the catfish filets were bigger but the jumbo shrimp made up for it! I travel a lot for work and the normal fast food places gets old fast! This was a great change in scenery. For it having a drive thru there was the typical wait but fast for a seafood place. The food was also seasoned and had taste unlike a few places Ive been to. Everytime Im in town from mesquite Ill definitely be back.

Not bad. Staff was friendly and we were welcomed immediately. I had a nice cold free beverage in my hand within our first minute of being there. After reading a lot of reviews that raved about how great the food is, I was disappointed. I had the fried fish and fries. The texture of the fish was weird and could of had more flavor to me. Maybe is from cooking and eating like a Cajun for so many years... but it was a little bland to me.

Went there yesterday by accident and the food was delicious! I had the seafood gumbo and admiral platter. Went back today for gumbo, boiled spicy crayfish and catfish. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. Im so upset I cannot remember the cashier name because she was awesome and the southern hospitality was a all time high. Best seafood I ever had and will be back the next time Im in Texas!

Ate there when they first opened. Had the gumbo, shrimp and fish. This food was rated in the excellent category. I have lived all over south Louisiana and know good seafood when I eat it. The gumbo rates as good as any you can get in Longview. The shrimp are the best that I have found in Longview. Keep up the good work and dont get slack. I will keep going back as long as you do.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal! The jumbo fried shrimp and catfish were fried perfectly and the fries were seasoned just right. The tartar sauce was right on point! I must say I felt sorry for the business next door, because The Catch has really caught the customers! I definitely recommend it!
