This place is the worst! Food was alright prepared. Wait staff were nice at first. While the chef was preparing our food he was scrambling eggs with hot oil, to mix with our fried rice. While flipping the eggs the oil and pieces of egg flipped and landed on my chest, legs and face. The oil and eggs left a burn on my chest.. I tried to speak to the a manger, they dont have one! They have a waitress who has been there the longest. When I told her what happens she said she would see what she could do to make it better. I waited For about 15 minutes then was brought an incident report and was told the owner was there if I would like to speak to him. I said sure. He came over and said that he didnt see any mark (which was pointed out by his wait staff right before he came over) and asked me if I wanted to see a doctor, I said sure if you are paying for the visit. The owner said "yes, I have insurance" i started to continue my incident report and he said"you just fill that out and then leave". I finished filling out my report and still saw no physician, as I was leaving I asked if he was going to submit this incident with his corporate office, he acted like he didnt understand me and walked away. While I was filling out the report, the wait staff became more impatient and rude. I will never go back! Worst ever! Drive the extra mikes and go else where.

I would have given NO star if I could have! We were treated with terrible service by the waitress and excuses were given that she was very busy! Her other tables were attended too while we were ignored ! When we ordered the hibachi the food was decent but our sushi was unacceptable! It was not fresh and was stale ....Or should I say Nasty! I refused the sushi after having another try it to see if they felt the same and YES they agreed it was not fresh....When we went to leave and pay, the manager said I had to pay for it anyway, she was rude and yelled at me and also the sushi preparer (not a chef ) yelled at me! The behavior of these people were unacceptable and was recorded by another patron...She told the manager she will post it on Facebook and the manager said she did not care. I told the manager its not about the money, I am not paying for unfresg sushi. ..Its Dangerous... WE will never go back and we will be sure to let Everyone we know about our experience.. .PS..Several patrons told us they were mad about how we were treated and would tell other about the incident!

Absolutely the worst sushi place Ive ever been to. Hubby and I went on Wednesday. There was 6 people in the sushi bar not including us two. And maybe 4 couples in the dining room. It took 45 mins to get a bottle of beer. Took an hour to get 2 sushi rolls. And they were all cut unevenly and so loosely rolled that they fell apart. Then when I tried to flag our waitress down to get the check she just kept walking past me. 4 times she walked right by us. So I got up and went and stood by the pos system at the bar and asked another waitress to check us out. Then my waitress walks up and says Ill do it I dont have anything else to do. Then I watched 2 waitresses argue over a sushi roll. I will never go back. I have told all of my friends and family and they all say theyve all had bad experiences there. Now we all go to sake it to me and it is SO FAB!!!

As someone born and raised in Japan, this restaurant is not at all authentic. So much so that it is actually an embarrassment to real Japanese cooking. Broccoli does not belong in Udon, and the soup stock is completely wrong. These people could easily google the correct recipe. The rice is the incorrect type and not cooked properly, and the sashimi was sliced the wrong direction and not very fresh- it had a spongy consistency. This restaurant is not run by Japanese people and it is certainly not Japanese food. Anyone calling the grill-cooking "Hibachi" is mistaken. This cooking style is called Teppanyaki. If they call it Hibachi, theyre not Japanese and its not authentic. In Japan, this style of cooking is extremely cheap. Save your money. Youre being fooled by a gimmick. あまりすきじゃない。

8/18/14: Had late lunch here today and enjoyed it. The only thing that would improve my experience was that I sat at the bar where there was a funky smell. It smelled like the bar area (also the sushi prep area) needed to be cleaned. Otherwise the service was outstanding and friendly, the food was served quickly and was very good. I had the onion soup and tuna rolls. I eat sushi often at a lot of different restaurants and this was very good. Happy hour which starts at 3pm and goes until 6 (I think) is quite a value. $14.50 for soup, 3 sushi rolls, a beer and a soda is very good IMO.

Stopped taking togo orders 30 minutes before closing? Never heard of that before i guess they dont like money. Any how, the side salad with the house dressing is amazing. Worth your time if your into habachi, however they only let you do it with a big enough group. Dont know what qualifies but me an my fiance were told it wasnt enough people. The food is decent not much of a wow factor but its not terrible by any means. Customer service could use a boost but then again i could see how it would be hard for a waitstaff to be energetic in a place that always appears so slow.

This hibachi restaurant is very good. Its pricey as is any hibachi restaurant so that doesnt surprise me. The steak and chicken hibachi is delicious and the chefs are always overly willing to ensure that our food isnt cooked with anyone that may order seafood (due to severe allergy). The mushroom soup is delicious and wait staff is always pleasant - every time we eat here. Good restaurant, however, be prepared to pay about $25-$35 a head for dinner.

Great tasting hibachi at an exceptional price. Mondays and Tuesdays select sushi rolls are only $2.95 (8 pieces), including one of my favorites the crunchy roll. The reason why I am giving Tokyo 5 stars is because the friendliness of the staff including the entertainment portion, the taste of the food (considering the location - no offense to Brazoria County), and their prices are fair in comparison to other Japanese cuisine.

Ordered fresh salmon sushi which was the worst/least fresh salmon Ive ever tasted. Couple this with an inattentive server who never asked how the food was once it came out and didnt ask why I only had one of the four salmon sushi pieces, and the result is that the salmon wasnt the only thing that left a bitter taste in my mouth. Lastly, my food came out 15 minutes before my wifes...

This used to be one of our favorite places. Not as good sushi as some of our Houston favs but better than grocery store sushi. They used to have a happy hour menu and $1 sushi specials but apparently new ownership and the happy hour has gone away. Very sad. We wont be going nearly as often. I would rather drive further for better quality if prices are the same. Disappointing.
