We used to use this location quite frequently, but as of late the staff hasnt been able to get our order correct in the last 3 visits. We request that the food doesnt have mushrooms, Not only does it have mushrooms in the food that we ordered but it also has mushrooms in the "Clear Soup" that their online menu offers, when i called the management tried to tell me that i could not have my money back for the items that were incorrect, and when i told them that was unacceptable, they told me that i would have bring back the soup on a different day to receive any money back, i couldnt do it on the same day, because after i called and spoke to someone whom acknowledged my concerns with the food and told me the "manager" would call me back in 5 minutes, i proceeded to wait almost 2 hours until I CALLED THEM BACK. She clearly knew about my order being incorrect because in the span of about 35 seconds she had my ticket without me giving any kind of information to her. TL:DR Management here is a joke, want their customer base to bring back food which was cooked incorrectly, at the stores leisure just for the possibility of being refunded money which was wrongfully spent. I will not come to this location again, and i will tell everyone about my bad experience so they dont get swindled either.

Good food, horrible service. We order delivery quite frequently and know they are not the most prompt. But todays wait exceeded an hour so I called to check how much longer. After being told 30-45min initially; I felt calling after an hour was generous. Spoke to Emma who had the worst Customer service ever! At one point on our conversation she actually said "I dont know what to tell you". After numerous excuses about not being able to predict traffic. I literally live streets away. I asked to speak to the manager and a monotone Jessie picked up the line. I got a less then sincere apology and an excuse that they get busy so waitresses answer the phone and know nothing about delivery. Although Ms. Emma said she ALWAYS tells people an hour to an hour and a half so she wasnt sure who I spoke to. Its sad that the amount they appreciate their customers is so poor. This could be a great place if they would just be honest.

My husband and I used a groupon and decided to try this place. The hibachi dinner was very good and the chef was very personable. He was from Guatemala and since it was just my husband and I at the hibachi table, we chatted quite a bit. My only objection to this restaurant would be the host who seated us. A host or hostess is usually well dressed, since this is the first impression one has upon entering a restaurant. This kid had on baggy shorts, a t-shirt and tennis shoes. THAT gives a bad impression right off the bat!! That was a major turn-off, but the chef and food improved that impression. The manager should have had some sort of dress code in place for the front-line employee. That attire is fine for someone who will be washing dishes, but not for someone who greets the customers.

they asked if i want table or at the hibachi grill. well if i asked for the hibachi grill its because i want something cooked in front of me. ussually when i go to hibachi grill they explain what can be cook there and what orders to pick. this place wanted to sit me in a crowed table, did not cook what i asked for becasue they said did not order from hibachi grill menu which they did not explain it to me. bad customer service. the tables to sit where the grill is at are greasy, like if they dont clean right, and their food is not any better than a chinese buffet, the soup was watery and it had some veggies that seem passed and that did not belong their. the reason i say its because husband soup was the same and did not have the extra veggies.

The first time I went, everything was spot on, the second time was so bad I will NEVER go back. At a table of four, our orders were brought at one at a time. And after the first 2 were brought out, it took 15 minutes for the third one to come out, and it was the wrong order. My coworker decided he didnt care, and was about to start eating when the waiter came back and took it from him (after his fork, which he had already used, was in it) and immediately took it to another table. 30 more minutes went by before we saw the right order, and by then we were running late to get back to work, so I declined it. After waiting ANOTHER 15 minutes for our checks, I was outraged when I was handed my share of the bill which covered my drink.

I get a different experience every time I go! Sometimes it is so spot on that you let all your friends know to stop by if they are in the area and the next time you are wondering if it is the same place. From staff to the food - the inconsistency is quite puzzling. We seem to have a much better chance of having great service during lunch and just chuckle and order soup and a roll when we realize by the initial service it is one of "those times". At first the service and menu items were so good when they were "on" that it was worth the chance to return even knowing you might not have the same experience. These days we just dont seem to bother unless we have friends in the area that want to go.

I started going to Osaka in January and have never been disappointed in anything and Ive never even had a steak! The atmosphere is elegant but not pretentious- youre comfortable in casual attire but the design is elegant. Every detail of "fine eating" is addressed. The hibachi section is divided from the sushi section. All of the food is fresh and is from Japan. The hibachi chefs are very entertaining and I have had several larger dinner parties around the hibachi and everyone loves the food and the show. The sushi is the best, whether on or off the menu. The specialty rolls keep you coming back. Osaka answers many dining needs and I highly recommend it.

Ive been to the Osaka at the Westheimer location and happen to work near the Wallisville area so I thought to give it a try. I went during lunch time when it wasnt that busy. The waitress forgot half of my order. It took about 45 minutes to get the second half (3 rolls). In the mean time, the sushi that was served was warm with no side of wasabi or ginger. When later asked to have a side of both, the waitress failed to remember my request. The rolls were nothing to write home about. My overall experience of the service and quality of sushi wasnt the worst I had, but it also wasnt good. Ill stick to the Westheimer location.

This is a horrible sushi restaurant!!!! I paid 34.00 for 3 sushi orders and one edamame. I threw all the sudhi out!!! It smelled and tasted bad. I asked for an order with shrimpf tempura roll and i got a soggy greasy crab tempura roll!!! Even the simple Philadelphia roll eas bad!!! The topping on the one roll tasted like they were trying to make it mexican hot. It went in the trash too. Then when you call the telephone number the voicemail is full!! Horrible horrible and definitely a representative of good or even mrdiocre japanese food. I will never go back and would suggest to anyone to go somewherw else!!!!
