My family and I come here every few weeks for sushi. We never have any complaints about the food which is why they get the 4 stars. The fifth star is lacking due to their service, especially tonights. Our waiter tonight brought out our 3 year olds sprite in a glass instead of the usual styrofoam cup. We normally watch him when he drinks regardless of the cup but anything can happen with a 3 yo. That being said, he did end up spilling the sprite. We cleaned it up and had to ask him twice to bring the next one in a styrofoam cup because he left it sitting on the counter to go do something. He never refilled my tea, but my husbands was 3 times. When our son dropped one of the forks on the floor, he came over picked it up and set it back on the table next to our food. Granted he did ask if we needed another one, but the fork should have been taken to the kitchen to be cleaned not put back on the table. I will never stiff a waiter on the tip because they do still serve us, but the amount is based on the type of service which is the case tonight. They really need to do some training especially with the newer staff so these things do not happen.

I wanted to go to Shogun for my birthday. I made a reservation for 4 people at 7 pm. They took us to a table that had 3 seats together and one at the other end of the grill table. When I explained we wanted to sit together per the reservation, the manager was called over to make a decision to let us sit together at another table. This was a little embarrassing. It was a jovial atmosphere. The people at table next to us were celebrating a birthday and a lot of attention was given to the birthday girl and sounded fun. Our service was VERY slow. The food was good. When the check came my husband gave his credit card and 20 minutes went by and no one came back. I finally walked over to the register where 3 people were standing and told them we were ready to leave. This is when I found out they swiped my husbands card twice, voided the wrong one, but it would take 4-5 days to get credit back. Nothing was offered as compensation for this mistake and my birthday celebration was not recognize at all. My first and last time to this restaurant. Obviously the service is not consistent. Im sure the other table would give a glowing review.

As soon as you walk in that place it smells wrong. (like bad fish) I ordered different kind of rolls the cooked ones werent bad and dont fall apart BUT the sashimi tastes like bad fish! Yeah I know fish would taste like fish, but Ive been eating sashimi many years and it doesnt taste like that. The fish looked old as soon as it was put on the table. Its suppose to look fresh not hard and stiff. This place has some serious tempeture violations going on with their sushi. The food inspector needs to pay them a visit befor they get someone seriously sick. As for the grill side I cant say anything because I didnt try it but if the fresh food looks and tastes bad I can only expect for them to use old food to cook also. By the way our waitress was very attentive and nice so this is a review about their food.

This place used to be one of my favorite places. Tonight we went in and ended up leaving without eating the main course. First of all, after waiting forever, another waiter brought out an appetizer to appoligize for the wait. He gave one to the other two parties and wand walked away. Not a big deal since We didnt want the food. An hour and forty minutes after arriving the chef arrives only to go to the table opposite of us who had only been at the restraunt for about thirty minutes. The waitress shows up they have a heated argument. We finally asked for our bill and left. The chef didnt want to take the next turn because the other one, who was obviously less experienced from watching him cook at other tables, was taking too long at his tables. I wont be going back.

very disappointed brought my girlfriend here for Valentines dinner, place was not busy we sat at the grill and it took 20 minutes to get our drinks waiter was semi rude took another 10 minutes to get our salads, didnt keep up with refill friends with us had to go get his own refill of water 3 times we asked for a picture of water it was finally brought out full of ice so the water do last long the chef scolded at is because non of us wanted the sauce wasent very enthusiastic or entertaining needless to say as soon as we get home both of us are running to the bathroom.... We will not return to this location I do not recommend this place at all we got there at 7:30 almost 9 when our chef came out to cook... Almost walked straight out.

We love going to Hibachi Grills for our kids and its always enjoyable. I gave it 2 stars because not only did we get bad salmon but the "chef" even slightly cut it open looked at it weird (probably because the smell was fishy) but still gave it to us. The nasty fish was cooked beside my steak and ruined my steak, giving it a fishy taste also. We waited a while for our check and finally just flagged someone down who flagged our server down. I was so disappointed because the veggies and rice were really good.

My wife and I came with our three kids. We were sat first, but they had the chef go to the other table before us. That was fine until they forgot to order my kids Chicken Katsu, we waited 45 mins before the chef came out. When the kids food didnt come out, we left. Manager still made me pay 2.75 for my tea. We usually love this place, but they really sucked this time. Soup was cold, took forever to get a chef, never got my kids food. Very disappointed.

The food is good, however the service has been terrible the past two times we dined in. Our waiter left our cups empty today and it took about 10-15 tries to catch his attention for both our drinks and our check. More importantly, there was a live cockroach that arrived on my sushi plate. The server did take the plate back and make a new one, however it was an unfortunate experience and I was left disappointed and disgusted.

Not even worth a 1 star. I will never come back to this place I came to location and the want to be supposedly bouncer guy (zack) was the rudest person in any restraunt i had ever seen in my life. Thats a great attitude to have when u spend over a 100 dollar on a 2 person tab... I would never recommend this place if any one wants something similar but better go to Asian city that place is a 10 star....

We called multiple times trying to make a takeout order and no one answered, so we drove up and made the order at the restaurant. We order a steak and chicken meal and extra side of rice, once we got home and looked at our meal we didnt receive the steak or the extra side of rice. This is the second time they messed up our order, we wont be back.
