I only went here for dinner based on reviews on this site and was thoroughly disappointed. Some of these reviews are not truthful. Had beef, ham and sausage combo dinner with vegetables. Honestly, Meats were tender but tasted like they were skimping on the BBQ sauce - no flavor.Thin slices of meats about 4 each were laid on my plate by server. The vegetables were overcooked and the bread was neither hot nor delicious, in fact, very ordinary tasting. There was nothing complimentary as mentioned in other reviews, except for the bread. I asked the cashier about this and she said NOTHING is complimentary except for ice cream on sundays and bread. Also nobody bothered to mention that this is a cafeteria like setting so imagine my surprise. You just order and sit down. Needless to say I will not be going back. Paid $70 for a family of 5. Could have done better elsewhere for same price.

RUDE. HORRIBLE MANAGER and EXTREMELY rude little girl serving rolls. After dining in and "to go" food for many years now at this Spring Creek today was to say the very least APPAULING! My 80 year old mother needed to sit down at a table will my brother in line ordered and fixed her meal. A rude little brat girl serving rolls told my mother she HAD to move because she did not have her meal (the BRAT said it was their policy)!! After speaking with the LAME so called manager, who did not have the respect to even apologize to my mother, said it was NOT their policy however defended the disrespectful girl. Not that you give a hoot one way or another, that was my family and my brothers familys last visit to Spring Creek on Westgreen! Yall truly should be ashamed and we are definitely informing corporate headquarters first thing in the morning.

I came here with my brothers family given they live in Katy. I was a bit skeptical because I never been there before and Rudys right across the highway. But the food definitely wins me over. One of the good thing about this place is that you get free sides (well it comes with the plate special) but the best part is that you serve the sides yourself. So you could get as little as one scoop or as big as making the corner plate overflow with the sides. Lets be honest here, I was hungry and I gave myself generous portion of the sides of green beans and slaw. I got myself a loaded baked potato and it was definitely worth the money as the size of the potato is good and the chopped beef is delicious as well. Overall I had a good lunch here and I will definitely remember this as an alternative BBQ joint in Katy.

The food was wonderful but the togo girl was not good at all. She, was rude if I knew her name I would say it but, she didnt even tell me. Oh well at least she got my food right... The chocolate cream pie, was Nasty had to trash it. The bbq sauce tasted bider so I ate the meat barbeque brisket sandwich with out the bbq sauce... The bread was good. french fries were, Great. I should of listen to the post on the rateings. Oh well. My friend said it was a Great place I try it. Maybe I should go with her and not just order togo. Till next time Spring Creek Hope your better next time. My stomach is still up set. Thanks

Giving nasty left over food from their lunch special....Manager put a brick hard roll on my plate and that tiny amount of meat for a meat plate that costs 13.95!!! I had to scrape the pan for the awful tasting green beans! Definitely not like Grandma used to make! The macaroni was also from bottom of pan and crusty. When asked manager if I could get a baked potato instead of the awful leftover sides he was very very RUDE and his answer was no. I have been to several Spring Creek Barbecues across Texas and this is the worst one ever! Go to Mesquite, Tyler, Irving......anywhere but here!!!! AWFUL!!!!!

First, the guy gives me the wrong meat, told him it was fine Ill just eat this. Second my fries didnt come out until 20 minutes after I paid. Third there were messy tables and no where to sit. As I asked for the man to clean a particular table he goes somewhere else to clean then commands I "sit" like if I was a dog. Fourth the lady serving the rolls knew I was calling out to her but proceeded to ignore me. She gave rolls to other people than as she got towards me she said "all out". Ive been to other spring creeks before but this was just upsetting. Will not come here ever again

My wife and I are transplants from Louisiana where seasoning is the only way to cook, on our visit to Spring Creek Barbeque we found the food very bland, no seasoning at all, however this is the case with most food joints here in the Houston area, everyone posts a Louisiana sign claiming to be cajun food but one bite will quickly tell the true story. not many food joints even come close to Louisiana cooking and most of the people from Louisiana has been eating this Houston Barbeque so long they have lost that good old fashion Barbeque taste of Louisiana.

I wrote a review but it seems it has been removed, so Im warning people again to stay away. I went in last Sunday for a to go order and got the run around. Plus the AC wasnt working well, so it was hot in there and the customer service was bad. The manager argued with me about my order when I questioned why they hadnt packed the way that I had asked them to. The pie was still frozen when I took it to a potluck and the potato salad was tasteless...guess some one forgot to put the salt in? Bad food + aggravating service = stay away.

The little girl at the register skipped Over us completely at the to go station. Me and a coworker waited for 15 min and the cashier just walked away and never returned. Fortunately, an asst. Manager came over apologized and assisted us. The brisket and beans were great! My Potatoe salad ,on the other hand, was too mustardish and horrible. I asked for extra crust on my peach cobbler and it turned into all dry crust n gel filling stuck to it... No peaches. Worst experience ever

The employees are very rude. The girl who served bread was nice (compared to the others) but other than that everyone else had a bad attitude. The bathrooms were dirty. They have huge potatoes with hardly anything on them. Veru dry food. The female manager was very rude and gave ugly faces (very strange). Very bad experience and I highly recommend you do not waste your money here!

This is not a first choice for "great" bbq, but we have been here occasionally and it is consistent (maybe a little overpriced though). Anytime Ive been in the establishment seems to be clean throughout and the staff is friendly. They also do a good job of walking around and check on people to see if they want extra rolls. The fried okra is one of our favorite items to get here.

I usually love this restaurant but today we got to go and I ordered a brisket kids meal and a brisket plate. I asked for lean. Get home and mine is so fatty it was inedible. So I looked at the kids meal and it was even worse. A little meat with mostly fat. So disappointed I will be taking a break from there for a while. Gross. You dont pay those prices for nothing but fat.
