Nice roadside burger shack (not bbq) on *scenic* Hempstead Highway, with a wide variety of options, including homade chili (pretty okay), crispy crinkle (almost certainly frozen) fries and flat-top burgers with toasty, fresh buns. My kids insist that I mention their great lemonade, but I suspect its from mix. All-outdoor, covered seating might be a concern on a sweltering day, but is perfect when the temps get below 80.

Best $5 burger and fries you can get! It has to be the managers special though. Shrimp, onion rings, crinkle fries, toasty bun burgers, kool-aid! Great mom n pop burger spot!
