If Rock n Roll was a diner, it would be Peppys. Good prices and quality grub. Whether you want pancakes and bacon for dinner, or a Cheeseburg* for breakfast, they got you covered. You and your partner can get in and out for under $25 easily (including tip); maybe even cheaper if you split some B&G or something. *Cheeseburg and Hamburg (without the "er" at the end) are what they call their ground beef sammiches. I dont know why their spelling is distinct, and part of me wants to know, but the other part loves the mystery, haha. PS - I shill for damn near nobody, so if that means anything to you, it should tell you how much I love this place.

Classic joint. Its a place where all these tribes collide- youve got the hipsters, the yuppies, the Vietnam vets, blue collar folks. The place has the look of totally real American diner look and feel without any remodeling to make it look all hip and modern like the rest of the places around Fountain Square. The foods nothing amazing but you get what you pay for. Its classic drunk food. There used to be an epic brownie sundae dessert they unfortunately got rid of but still have the great pie slices.

Food good. However the cook, in a loud conversation with another patron, used the n-word several times very loudly. A few minutes later, a young african american kid came in to buy a soda. The patron that was conversing with the cook said, very loudly, "you let them in here now." This experience made me very uncomfortable and sad that this type of open racism exists in an area of Indy (Fountain Square) that is touted as a cultural district.

Probably my favorite diner experience in Indy. Dont know why youd think to come here unless youre hammered or hungover, though. Or super baked. Having said that if youre one of the 3 (or not), Peppys will be everything you couldve dreamed for. Its a small, townie diner with good breakfast food and coffee. Not the cheapest per se but definitely the best simple diner youll find in the area. And Bernie Sanders ate here when he was in town!

Incredibly slow and terrible service. We were seated immediately, but it took 20 minutes before they took our orders - even for drinks. They never checked if we needed refills. Our food was finally ready just over an hour after we sat down. Our group was 4 people, and we all had simple, quick-to-cook orders. Then they entirely forgot one of our entrees.

The staff was friendly and seemed to know all their regular customers. Biscuits and gravy were great as well as Denver omelette, we both had leftovers to take home. We couldnt believe this little spot turned out to be a little gem for breakfast spots in Indy, but we brought our sister in law the second visit and will definitely be back.

This place doesnt even deserve1 star! We went there at 3:30 on 9/7/2017 to get biscuits&gravy, was sitting at both by the grill already ordered then a cock roach was climbing down the wall of our booth. I screamed we was leaving they wanted to know why, i told them ,they said okay and walked over and killed it and said nothing! We left

Look if you dont like Peppys its probably because youre stuck up or close minded. Its a killer little diner with the best biscuits and gravy on the planet. The environment is awesome. Classic diner with modern lights and ceiling fans which looks pretty funny but its part of it. Youll be glad you came here.

Definitely a hole in the wall. That being said, its there when youre hungry. Cheap food that isnt too bad. The bathrooms are pretty gross. The staff was pretty friendly. It can get a little busy, but Id recommend going if you need a late night bite to eat. Its open 24 hours and they have breakfast at anytime.

It is ok.....not always the cleanest place, but the food is good. The prices are GREAT! Service is hit or miss. They did have an issue with their coffee pot while we were there, the coffee was not hot. But they offered to microwave it, and they were working on the problem.

Greasy 24 hour diner. The food is okay, made to order with cheap ingredients. Of the several times Ive been here the service has been mediocre. I got my order but with no friendliness. But Peppys will suffice if youre looking for a greasy breakfast any time of day.

Its Peppys. Its the only 24 h diner in the Fountain Square neighborhood. Food is okay, not much else at 4 a.m. Staff can be friendly, but when a huge crowd hits, things can grind to a halt. Not the worst place to get your hangover breakfast at though!

I love the food here so much, but the service is just awful! The lady on the phone totally hung up on me when I called to see if the guy who threw coffee creamer and yelled at me last time, was working tonight! Before I even asked! Horrible service!!

Peppys is a tiny dinner along Virginia Ave. Its the kind of place that has a classic 50s kind of food. Nothing special, but thats its appeal honestly, theres nothing unusual, its a great start or end to a night in fountain square.

Peppys is kind of run down. The food is cheap, and you get what you pay for. But the service is good, and the hours and location are convenient. Its a good place to visit if youre broke or drunk or if theres nothing else open.

This place is like a second home to me. Dan, the cook, is wonderful. The entire staff is great, honestly. Biscuits and gravy, coffee, a crossword, and friendly conversation here are things I look forward to every visit.

Hole in the wall restaurant that always has great service. Cheap food at any time as they are 24/7. Dont expect to be impressed with the interior or food but if you like hole in the wall places, this place is for you.

When youre out past 3am, hungry, and not ready for your night to end, hop a ride to Peppys in Fountain Square. Peppys is open late, serving breakfast favorites for reasonable prices, with a classic diner atmosphere.

The new owners are nothing like the old ones. This was the place to go for the best biscuits and gravy, but the biscuits taste like cardboard, and the gravy is to greasy. The prices are to high for what u get.

Ive been coming here for decades.you just cant go wrong.good old American food served by real folks. If you think its gross and dirty, you have just lived a sad sheltered life. This is how real people eat.

Isnt appropriately staffed and regularly pulls the "no longer accepting orders" card. No point in being a "24 hour" dinner when you regularly refuse orders from 9 to 2 am. Staff was rude and disgruntled.

A staple for cheap greasy food in Ft. Square. Whether you need that quick/cheap breakfast fix or you are hung over from the night activities the staff will always get you set up with some solid eats.

Ive never had anything bad here. They have a whole bunch of different pies too that are cheap for a slice and theyre all good! I definitely recommend the hamburgs and the biscuits and gravy!
