I paid $15 for a three meat two sides meal. O got ribs, sausage and fat. Oh wait, I mean brisket. The three meat combo came with two small ribs that tasted like nothing but sugar, three prices of beef which was nothing but fat and a decent portion of sausage. They forgot my drinks. They offer a complimentary corn, which I didnt receive with my meal, I even made sure to tell them I did want it. My daughter got a chopped beef sammich and green beans. The green beans are those nasty wax feeling frozen ones. Her bun was old because it kept falling apart. I called up there and was told by the window girl and I guess manager or owner. He didnt say who he was. They told me that I should have said what kind of cut I wanted. That they have different kinds fatty, moist and lean or whatever they said. I have never been to a place where I had to tell them to not give me nothing but fat. I didnt pay $15 to eat tasteless fat. He went on to tell me how I should have told them. No, if you want to serve your customers nothing but fat then YOU ask them what kind of cut they want. He told me well what do you want me to do? I said well Im not sure. I am home now and I just dont think Ill be back. He then said well you can bring it up here and Ill switch if. No, Im not driving ten minutes to switch my disappointing food. I will not be back here. The food is not good.

Just went for the first time today looking for a non-chain. Cause Pappas BBQ is probably the weakest of their restaurants. Google brought me to this place right around the corner from my house. The drive thru made me even more willing to try it. No line and didnt seem busy inside it maybe thats because it was 5:30. In between lunch and dinner. From the first sip of sweet tea on the car ride home I already knew it was going to be amazing. I got a chopped beef baked potato that was practically the size of my head. Exactly what I had been craving. Went out on a limb and also picked up a small side of ranch style beans and the sauce in it was so thick and rich with hickory flavors. New favorite place. 10/10 Would definitely go again. Do recommend. Like I was so inspired by this meal I felt compelled to write a review.

Ive ordered from this place twice and both times they forgot to include my sides. Each time I called back to try and rectify the problem I spoke to a lady with a horrible attitude. I was told it wasnt anything she could do about it cuz she didnt make the order. I asked to speak to a manager and both times I was told he " just left" yea right. When I asked his name she didnt know. Her personality was that of burnt sandpaper and her customer service skill was non existent. The food itself was mediocre at best. I tried to give them a second chance and ended up regretting it. Never again will I spend another penny in this place. Rude employees+ sub par food= one less customer. More if you include every friend and family member I tell about this fiasco of a failed feast!

We went there for the first time today and my first reaction was WOW!!! The place looks small from the outside but seems to double once youre in the door. I had the chopped beef baked potato and it was the best baked potato Ive ever eaten. It was HUGE! Ive never even seen a baked potato this big much less eaten one. I ate about half and was completely stuffed, then ate the other half at my next meal and again was stuffed. Their BBQ sauce is excellent and is self-serve so you dont have to wait in line or pay extra for it. Everything is very clean, the bathrooms are nice, and their tea is great. And they have a soft-serve ice cream machine next to the BBQ sauce which was a nice end to a delicious meal.

My intern placed a $100 order at 9:00am today, then received a call from the store around 11:00am, then I called to confirm the order at noon for pickup at 5:00pm. I arrived at 5:10, they had no idea about the order, and started cooking it after I arrived. I didnt leave the store until 5:25. They claimed it was the previous shifts fault and they didnt pass on the information about the order. If an order is placed online, isnt there some record of it digitally? Or shouldnt it at least be written down? This was very poor customer service. If an order is placed at 9:00am and 2 phone calls happen throughout the day, there should be no excuses as to why it is not ready 8 hours later.

Well when I walked in today I immediately saw the dirty floors, then as I walked through I saw plates left on the tables from guest who had already left.. I said to myself give them a chance maybe they had a busy lunch. even though no other customers where in the restaurant other than me. I ordered the load bake potato with chopped beef to go. When I got home the food was cold. I only live less than 1 mile from the store. Then after I warmed the potato I found not one but two long string of hairs in my potato.. That was it.. I would never return..

This place is an embarrassment for Texan food. Please close the shop before you kill anyone. Your food is old. At least three days old. Most of your dishes have pork in them. Most of your customers do not eat pork. ( west chase area, ) Have a choice for your customers. I will not eat there anymore but try to keep the rest of your customers or you be out in less than a year. Rent over there is too much.

Food is good but customer service is poor. I called because a plate was missing and the manager (westheimer location) insisted that he packed the order himself and that the driver just didnt take it. I called GrubHub and when the rep called the restaurant thats when he admitted he did not give the plate to the driver. So he LIED and was very confrontational, not admitting to fault at all.

I ordered a three meat platter today at your Westheimer location. When I got home there was barely any sliced beef, of which I asked a double portion of, and no jalapeno sausage. The restaurant denied making the order incorrectly and were not willing to refund any part of my money. I will not be returning to Brookstreet BBQ at all.

Mac n cheese taste like the cheap box you can buy, like cardboard. The Cole slaw taste like the store brand. Theres more fat then theres meat, and if you want it with flavor you have to dunk it in the sauce if not it taste like a T.v dinner, but the t.v. dinner is at least hot. Im giving it two stars because you know, ice cream.

1st and last time going.. 1. The prices online are faaar off from their actual prices. 2. Their prices are above average than other bbqn places not to mention the portion sizes of meat is ridiculous. Fries were salty as hell.. Meat was so bland. Brisket was good and mashed potatoes but thats about it.
