This buffet was well below my low expectations for a $9.75 lunch Buffett. Pros: All food was stocked and replenished quick when it was running low. A very good variety of food, including sushi, dessert and normal American-Chinese cuisine. Staff was very friendly and quick to replenish beverages and clear the table of old plates Cons: All the food was barely warm, and flavorless. The sushi was room temperature and not rolled well. Floors were dirty and empty tables took forever to get bussed When my water was being refilled, it was taken out of my sight and then brought back full (pet peve of mine. Water should be filled with pitchers) The restaurant seating is vast and plentiful, yet everyone is sat so close together, its uncomfortable. The soysauce bottle on our table was very dirty. I will not be going back, and i will be letting all my fellow friends and family know its not worth the time or money.

Are you from the east coast? Get ready for disappointment, because west coast Asian cuisine is not what you are expecting. The five star reviews are definitely not from people who had the chance to go to this same style of buffet on the other side of this country. This buffet would have been better even in Florida. The food here was solidly mediocre. I was impressed by the selection until I realized it was mostly just "meh". The sushi/sashimi selection was good and it tasted better than expected, but all things considered we will not be back. I was baffled by all the good reviews for this place. Everyone who ate there that day was seated uncomfortably close together, also, so that none of us felt like we could have a conversation unless we included the neighbors. Very awkward.

The prices and selection are pretty good but the staff is extremely racist. They obviously have issues with Asian/Black couples. I understand some people still have conservative views but dont be disrespectful to your customers. People shouldnt be mistreated because they chose to marry outside their race. Their unpleasant body-language is so obvious, only a fool wouldnt notice. These people have some nerve. Im totally capable of physically destroying every employee there but I decided be civilized and turn a blind-eye. I hope the owner reads this because the next patron may not be so calm. You people can burn in hell where you belong. Count your blessings I didnt break your god-damn neck for being disrespectful to my wife. Racist, judgemental POS!

Great Buffett looking at it from a managerial aspects and food. Wonderful food, and I want to clarify something, they DO NOT use heat lamps they are display lights so you can actually see your food... The sushi was cold and tempura hot. Wonderfully done. Now my praises for the management and waiters bravo! Everyone was extremely curtesy and nice. Floors were clean, tables were not sticky at all, bathrooms were clean and looking lovely. Waiters would clear the table when they saw we were done with a plate. I saw the manager out and about checking on everyone and sweeping the floor to keep everything clean! Seating and decor is elegantly done. Great sushi Buffett will be a returning customer and recommending this restaurant to friends and family.

Im not a small man, and I owe that to a background of loving food. Buffets have been a frequent haunt to get good bang for the buck, and honestly the sushi ALONE is worth the price of admission. Wonderful variety, clean, fantastic presentation, and all the feel of a sit down restaurant that just happens to be a buffet. If youre looking to please a crowd with eccentric, exotic, and more standard tastes alike, this is a fantastic place to stop. Visited for dinner with a $16.99 charge per adult and $1.99 per refillable soft drink.

They have all kinds of sushi that alone is worth the $15, plus you see it being made by their sushi chef so you feel more at ease knowing that it hasnt been sitting there all day. Its a small buffet and has allot of americanized asian foods that are comparable to panda express. There is a mongolian grill chef and an ok salad bar. Its probably the best asian buffet in the Portland,OR region. Service is straightforward not the friendliest people but they do what is required. Wish it was closer to Downtown area.

Service is really pretty good considering it is a value buffet. There is a lot of food options, some seafood, lots of different sushi, and the price is excellent; no wonder it is so packed all the time. None of the food is really super stellar but cant expect too much from an establishment such as this. By no means is it fine dining but if you are looking for lots of options and a sure way to get full, Im not sure many places can beat this in that aspect.

Came here from Groupon. The food was excellent including fresh suishi, snow crab and a great assortment of traditional Chinese dishes. Would have liked to give 5 stars as the food deserves it but the customer service was very hit and miss. Most of the time it seemed like I was bothering the staff when asking for assistance such as for refills or additional napkins which was a bit of a let down. Overall was a nice experience and I will likely be back.

Service was excellent, considering the full house of customers. The buffet selection was well stocked with the common dishes. There is a hibachi, stocked with an average variety of self-select ingredients. Sashimi, and American fusion style Sushi is available. I rated low due to the poor quality of ingredients, and incorrect preparing and storing of allergenic ingredients. High Cross Contamination risk.

Sushi buffet? You might think...hmmmm..no. And youd be wrong. Most everything is very good. And a bargain. Some items like the octopus salad or Chinese green beans are as delicious as youll find anywhere for any price. And if youre feeling like Chinese food, or want to choose your own fresh veggie or meat bits to make a stir fry, go for it. Check this place out once. Youll be back.

Excellent presentations. Beautiful, clean, open and brightly lighted large space. Smelled strongly of fish. Makes sense because the fish is cooked in front of not behind kitchen doors. Huge mussels. So, many artistically presented sushi trays and pieces. Loved the serving tongs placed on plates in front of each food item. No dropping tongs into the platters or dishes. Clean!

I really like the calamari rings, the green baked mussels, the oysters, some of the sushi like the Vegas Roll and the one with tuna andß salmon and avocado on top. The chocolate cake was the only dessert worth the calories. Pork ribs were good. Weekends there are crab legs and lobster . cold and hot on the crab. Quality there is just ok on lobster.whole shrimp deep fried is good!

The family and I love it. Beats any sushi track place hands down. Its a BUFFET. Some dishes will be fresher, others not. Unlimited fair quality sushi, orange chicken, mongolian beef, hot & sour/egg drop soup, crab legs, potstickers, fruits and other asain namesakes for a reasonable price. Coupons abound in local ads and Groupons are available. Well be back. Try it.

The food was ok. The service was decent. Poor desert selection. The place feels dirty, floors are sticky. Bathrooms are disgusting! The clean dishes one is supposed to use to get more food were not washed well enough they still had food stuck to them. Too expensive for the meh experience. I would come back for lunch since its cheaper.
