Absolute horrible experience. I have been going to Pappas on Sunday for 3 years now and thanks to this location will not be attending Pappas brothers restaurants as apart of my Sunday ritual any further. Everytime I attend this certain location I notice they run out of ribs(the all you can eat rib special) fairly quickly which is fine. So today on I decided to attend earlier than usual to beat the rush... It was 5pm and they claimed they were all out of ribs... Come on guys? Thats a joke, only because I noticed they had a total of about 10 people in the establishment. You would think they could handle a small amout of people. I also noticed the management was very quick to cut off the rib deal as soon as we entered the building. I then went to the parking lot to call and see if he was telling the truth. The gentlemen on the phone went on to tell me they were serving all you can eat at that very moment, just shortly after we were turned away. In conclusion, Pappas please teach your management how to do what their title entails... Manage! No guest should leave your famous restaurants the way we did with this screw up on your Peoples watch.

I ordered the "po boy" pulled pork sandwich, the lady at the drive thru window asked me if I wanted bbq sauce in my sandwich, of course I said yes. When I finally got home to eat this sandwich there wasnt any bbq sauce in the pork or bread, the sandwich was very dry. Needless to say I couldnt finish it, there was no taste except for the overwhelming liquid smoke stuff they put in the pork to make it taste like its been in a smoker. Never again will I give this place business. Note to those who work here, if you are going to ask a customer if they want bbq sauce in their sandwhich, please follow through! That small little thing litterally give me a "bad taste" in my mouth for this place. The french fries were soggy as well, do not waste your money here if you are looking for some good taste bbq.

Been going here for over 9 years, I buy my office people lunch here at least two to three times a month and I buy thousands of dollars of gift certificates for clients for christmas every year. Last visit 10/12/15 around 1:30 . No more... Im tired of being treated rudely especially by the manager. Asked for the white meat chicken I always get, I have a cholesterol problem, so I get a white meat breast, the same thing I order every week for the last 9 years. I pay extra, should get what I want. The manager tells me he cant do the white meat, this is the last time. I asked why? I pay extra? Yall sell meat by the pound whats the problem? Rude ass redneck. Learn customer service, or you wont have any.

Brisket was dry and seemed to be sitting for some time. BBQ sauce was terrible and it cost too much for a sandwich with poor quality food. Not something you would expect from a Pappas owned restaurant. That was my 2nd or 3rd attempt at multiple locations and each visit was Very disappointing and I wont be back. Pappas should really consider selling their BBQ restaurants and focus on what they do great. Anyone in Houston knows what Im talking about. Pappadeauxs, Pappacitas, Pappas Seafood, Pappas Brothers Steak House and others but BBQ, not so much. Sorry Pappa, I love just about else you do.

This is the best bbq spot!They even have a drive thru!The beef ribs are tasty. The chopped beef sandwich and pulled pork sandwiches are good options if youre not as hungry. Everything you get is big 2 people can share or 2 kids depends on your appetite i guess. The bbq chicken is delicious you just want to keep eating. This place is perfect for dining in you usually dont wait for a table you just walk in and pick a table. However you still have to get up and order your food. So dont expect a waiter because they have none.

I went through the drive through about 2 weeks ago.Taishia has the demeanor of a pouting child.Zero respect,not a thank you come again .The potato was dry and flavorless on top of it.Not only do customers pay for food,they are paying for good customer service.What this young lady lacks is manners. This lady through the window cant be that much of an asset with her terrible attitude i went back the other day.Still the same person with the same rude a×× attitude.Do reviews even matter...cause im sure everyone feels the same.

First timer While visiting Texas i wanted some good ole BBQ. After church to my surprise it was quite crowded if you dont know your way around it can be confusing to know where the line starts. Its a free seating meaning no hostess to show you to your table. I wanted beef ribs but they didnt have any so i had to settle for pork i have to say it was amazing ribs but sooo much of it it will literally take me 3 days to eat it all. Great place to come relax and enjoy good southern barbeque.

I cant believe how disappointing this locations food was. I ordered the half pound of turkey breast and a side of green beans. Both were awful. I tried to eat it, but ended up throwing it away. The turkey breast was extremely chewy and fatty and the green beans didnt taste or feel like they were completely cooked. I usually go to the downtown location for dinner and order the exact same thing. The food is always great. Ive never had a bad experience at that location.

This location is very clean and spacious. Service was quick and friendly. One of the things I use to enjoy at Pappas was their chef salad. Its really big and I wasnt that hungry so I decided to get a smaller one. It was a but disappointing. The sliced turkey on top was delicious, but no additional toppings other than tomatoes and cheese. The dressing was also a but sparse. It would have been better with egg and bacon crumbles on top.

HORRIBLE! It took them 10 minutes to make my sons grilled cheese. The beans were hard cold and disgusting. Chicken didnt look fully cooked. NO PORK AND BABY BACK RIBS!!!! Really... several people were upset at the service. We were close to getting our money back and leaving but my son was eating his grilled cheese that took too long to get so we decided to let him finish. Will not return.

I have never been treated so disrepectfully by a MANAGER in my life. I even called PAPPAS to complain and wasnt given the courtesy of a call in return. I no longer frequent PAPPAS BBQ nor will I allow anyone from my office to bring that swill you call Bar-B-Q into my building. There are much better choices nearby. Try Gatlins or Vergies BBQ if you want some real service and great food.

The beans didnt seem cooked all the way through and tasted like they came from a can. The ribs werent terrible but the membrane was still on them which made them difficult to eat. The mac n cheese was watery and flavorless. The sauce tasted like burnt black licorice. The best thing they served us was dry, white bread! First impression of texas bbq......Ive had better!
