My boyfriend and I have been to several Hooters locations in different states, including this particular one, and have never had an issue or complaint about service or the food. However, this past visit left me very upset and a little turned off from the restaurant. We walked in and were immediately approached by the hostess who said "seating was open sit where you want." As a party of 2 we chose a small high top table that was near 2 other high top tables filled with customers. We sat there for about 10 minutes while 3 different waitresses passed us serving all the other tables around us. Not once were we acknowledging by any of them. I finally got up and approached the hostess who was standing near the front door with 2 waitresses who were just chatting. I asked her if we happened to sit at the one table that wasnt being covered and pointed to our table. She then told me she wasnt sure whose area that was and when I asked her if she could find out she actually said, "Well, Im just the hostess". I took that comment as she couldnt help me and wouldnt help me. I returned to my table and we decided to leave after watching 5 waitresses and the hostess argue over whose table it was. Knowing we were only a table of 2 maybe they thought it wasn’t going to be a big bill, however we were planning on getting 2 large meals and most likely 2 pitchers of beer. Maybe because I was a female with only one guy and the other tables that were full were all males they didn’t want to deal with us. Who knows! All I know is I really was looking forward to some wings and beer and they totally ruined my evening. Shortly after leaving the restaurant I called back to talk to the manager who said his name was Tom. He stumbled over a halfhearted apology and really left me wondering if he even cared. He didnt take down any of my information but told me the next time I came in to ask for him, as he wanted to “shake my hand in person to thank me for calling”. Without my information how was I to know he would even remember me calling or what my issue was. His offer of reassurance that we would never have that experience again was so poorly communicated that he personally made me not want to return to that location again. I have been to Hooters locations during the height of football season with every table packed and have experienced excellent service but the fact that there was about 8 tables full at the time and we couldn’t get one waitress to even acknowledge our existence was astonishing. You would think they would have wanted us to spend some money. We instead went to your so-called competitor Twin Peaks and had an excellent meal with excellent service. I’m usually not a person that holds one bad experience against a place but the way we were treated overall makes me really not ever want to go back to that location and I will make sure that other people know how bad that location is.

The service I had a ask 2 times for water, under TABC you have to give somebody water when you serve them alcohol. Was at the bar, second I ordered some wings and they came out super crispy and over cooked. Manager came out had them cooked and they came out again very crispy burnt, and just overcooked. The bartender never ask me for my ID and all my credit card says check ID, dont know about you but a lot of people are stealing identity and for her not to check is a disappointment for the Hooters name. Stick with the WestEnd at least have cookset speak English and know how to actually cook correctly according to the Clearwater Sarasota Florida standards. I mean how hard is it to use e-verify unless Hooters likes to employ cheap wage thats illegal. The manager try to be nice but he obviously doesnt know anything about cooked food correctly. Last I will say I was sitting at the bar and when I looked up a young white associate Walkden that works there had his pants below his front side and butt. Now if Hooters is the so-called family restaurant Iowa thought I would not bring my family to come see a individual working there with his pants not on this way I dont want to see someones underwear while Im eating the manager should of stoped him before he started work and that the manager did not show no consideration for the Hooters name. He is willing to let is employee walk in the front door with his pants down!!!!!!!!!!! So all I say is Semper Fi to all yall!!!!!! Yes Im a texsan and thats why I expect everything to be done correctly and southern hospitality alfresco go to the west and and skip this location in till they can fix their problems.

Not bad, not good but fair. I went there for my birthday meal and let the server know it was my birthday. Apparently Hooters doesnt do the "birthday song" anymore, or at least at this location. I ordered wings which were over seasoned and the fries were not piping hot...probably sat at least 4-5 minutes under a heat lamp. Folks, Hooters is on its way out. They had their stay in the "breastaurants" business but new, up and coming places like Wild Pitch and Tight Ends are closing in fast. In fact, I would recommend both places over this one (esp. Tight Ends). Another knock on this location was their lackluster selection of T-shirts. I bought one, one size too big for them to sign it. Do the higher ups at Hooters even read these reviews and take them to heart? I doubt it. As long as the money keeps rollin in, they could care less. But if this continues, the money train will eventually come to a stop. The only one that was rather fun to talk to was the manager; the girls need to try harder to interact with the customers. They act indifferent and apathetic. Will I return to this location? Nope. Nexxxtttt!

Being a long time customer of Hooters, I have always really looked forward to their hotwings. I personally have given up on the theme because I feel it is a bit played out, especially in this part of the country. That being said, their hotwings have been their saving grace for me. I dont know WHAT is happening with the franchise, but my last four (4) experiences have been subpar at best. I typically order ahead and get my wings to-go and lately, the wings just arent worth going out of my way to order. Over breaded, sauce is not evenly distributed between wings, once the wings tasted undercooked, etc... Im not ready to give up on them yet, but Ive found a few other good wing places that will be getting my business if I continue to have negative experiences.
