This place doesnt even deserve one star. Service was the pits and the food was very underwhelming. We were given a number to display at our table after placing our order. We seated ourselves and waited. After our order was ready instead of a server bringing it to our table it was just left on a counter. My wife saw it and retrieved it. She knew it was our order because no one had ordered in front of us. No telling how long it would have been before it was delivered to our table. And its not like this place was busy at the time we were there. After retrieving our order I should have sent my plate back as it was warm at best and cold by the time I finished the meal. The enchiladas on my order were nothing like the enchiladas that Taco Cabana features in their product information and advertising. Instead of nicely filled and rolled enchiladas what I got were enchiladas with minimal filling and looked as if they had been flattened with a large spatula. Actually, the end of one of the enchiladas had no filling in it at all. This restaurant has been open a few years now. We visited a few times when it first opened but quit going because we thought it somewhat underwhelming then. We thought we would give it another try thinking maybe since we wanted to get something quick and we were right at this TC location. We thought that maybe things had improved since the restaurant opened but the reality is it has gotten worse. There is a new place called Gypsy Lime Taco Lounge adjacent to this TC. I have eaten there once and it is pretty good. That is where I will be going from now on. Disclaimer: I dont write restaurant reviews unless it is for a restaurant that is really good and I think the restaurant deserves recognition or the restaurant is really bad and I want to warn people not to go here. Dont go to this Taco Cabana. It is really bad.

I came in to pick up some taco boxes for work, and I am really wishing I had not. This is the most unacceptably-slow fast food joint I have ever seen. The kitchen moves at a snails pace and we can watch them so we see how absolutely nonchalant and disconnected they are. The restaurant is full of people waiting to get their food (12+, & no one dining-in) and Im just now seeing the first person in about 20 minutes receive anything from the kitchen. I spoke with her earlier and her work had ordered 5 taco boxes 2 hours ago but the orders somehow never made it from the website to the store. Listening to the employees talk it sounds like there was a second order that had been magically lost for someone as well. There is not normally tipping in fast food, but in this case I have a major tip -- Potential Customers: STAY AWAY. Update: the time on my receipt is 9:02. I received my two TCs Way (the default as-it-comes dozen-breakfast-taco box) at 9:39. Oh, and it didnt even come in a box. I received 24 loose tacos dumped together in a plastic bag.

Ive been to this restaurant many times, almost always at night. Sometimes they do okay, but much too often I leave dissatisfied. They advertise that they service breakfast tacos after midnight, yet Ive been there many times well after midnight and was told they hadnt started cooking breakfast yet. The amount of meat in the brisket tacos varies greatly, sometimes an adequate amount and sometimes no more than you could fit in a teaspoon. They cost about $2.50 each so I expect a lot better than what I get. I went by there tonight to order some and after waiting about 35 minutes, they finally bring them to my car. Youd think after waiting for that long, they would have thrown in something for free, but instead I get four skimpy tacos for over $10. I dont think Ill be going back here for a very long time.

My special order came to me correct and timely. I had no problem with the service at this location. The tortillas werent as good as some of the other locations, so i gave it four stars. Despite the fact that they sell alcohol, i was informed it was "highly inappropriate" to get drunk at lunch, stand on a table, and scream "taco... taco cabana! Im that guy who sings copa cabana!" At every person in the restaurant while "lewdly" playing air guitar until someone tackles you. Fascists. So, if you are wanting some good tacos with fresh tortillas in a hurry, visit any of the fine taco cabana locations!

Super Nachos not so super anymore. I used to visit Taco Cabana and get this every time so I wanted to try it again now that Im back in town. Unfortunately, the wow factor of the mountain of nachos is no more. The portion size is half of what it used to be and disguised in a bowl instead of the large plate it used to be in. The crispy tacos my girlfriend ordered were drenched in grease from the taco meat. Luckily, everything was still delicious and we enjoyed the meal. Hopefully the presentation can revert to the times of old and still be quality food!

I like Taco Cabana, the food is good and I like the salsa bar but, I had a very disappointing experience here. This location is fairly new, so it was surprising to find booths where the seat cushions were not attached and sliding off their frames, tables needed to be wiped down, found water or some such liquid on a seat. A crew member came in thru a customer entrance with a trash can hed just dumped in the dumpster. Walked up to the cash register wearing the same gloves to take a customers order. Whoever owns/runs this location should be ashamed.

OHHHH MY GOODNESSS WHERE DO I BEGIN WITH THIS PIECE OF TRASH. FIRST OF ALL, the lady was all rude, and had nooooo type of patience. I always have a habit to not leave the window after receiving my food to make sure my order is right. Well, after a long day at work and very hungry, All I got was $16 of nothing, The enchiladas had no chicken in it!!! and beans were splattered everywhere. THE freaking rice looked like Platoe!! and The people giving 1 stars are right about this place, DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Literally the worst and most problematic TC location in DFW. I have had multiple issues with this location for years since I moved to the area in 2011; under-cooked food, an unfriendly staff, constant mistakes on the simplest of orders. Since the location is so close to my job, I would go, hoping the management would change after a period of time, but after so long & so many issues, it hasnt and probably never will. Avoid at all costs.
