Was really looking forward to having a happy hour drink and some dinner here after a long 10 hour day at work. I am new to the area and parked on a side street. Didnt see any signs that said no parking but asked the waiter and a manager to make sure. The waiter said he thought it was ok and the manager said for sure yes. I ordered one drink with the tacos al carbon. The margarita was one that was on the weaker side and tasted heavily of sweet and sour so I just ordered one. The tacos were just meat in a tortilla with some pico/cheese/lettuce on the side. The steak was full of gristle and fat so I politely asked for hard tacos instead. Tacos came out with grease dripping out the ends running all over the plate. Both the soft and hard tacos were incredibly bland. Midway through the tacos I see someone putting a ticket on my car and run out to see why. Apparently the street was no parking and was covered up by tree limbs. The ticket was $70!!!! I am new to town so this is why I asked two people if it was OK. Maybe they should double check before saying yes if theyre not sure. I had to run off and leave my food so my car wouldnt get towed. Ticket aside, I was not at all impressed with the tacos al carbon, the crunchy tacos, or the margarita. Wouldnt return here again for the bad food but will NEVER step foot in this place again due to the staff telling me its OK to park somewhere when they dont really know. Great $90 dinner where I left hungry.

I have always had great experiences at the other locations. However this one (rice village) was a huge disappointment. We were a table of 6 and it took over 2 hours for us to be served and finished. It took 30min to get our drinks. The waiter mentioned they were way understaffed but it is a holiday break and the reaturant should have anticipated that. Also I forgot to get extra cash after we closed our tab for the valet. Their ATM was broken so I asked the bartended if I could get cash back. (12/28/15 staff) I mentioned my delema and told him I would open a tab and tip him way over the amount if he could make the accomodation. He said he could have if i didnt close my tab. He refused to open a tab for me because it was an "inconvenience" for him and he was worried about having to tip out the rest of the staff. I then took my issue to the host and front staff. They had zero solution. They should hold their building management responisble for fixing their ATM machine. They recommend that I walk the two blocks to the CVS in the cold and at night to solve the issue. I wasnt asking for much and I was willing to pay for my forgetfulness. It was a huge disappointment and I, as a woman, was very nervous to walk in the dark just to find an ATM! It was a rediculous situation and the entire staffed looked at me like I was just SOL.

Worst Experience ever!!!! I took my best friend here to celebrate her birthday. When we arrived we where told the power was out , but we could still sit at the bar and order drinks. We went and sat at the bar and the bar tender(Illyse) had a horrible attitude. She kept complaining that she didnt know why the restaurant was still open. She took our orders for drinks but did not offer any chips and salsa. When we asked her for it she rolled her eyes and went to get it and practically through it at us. We asked her what could the kitchen serve and she said only thing they could give us was guacamole. We ordered the guacamole and she just slammed the plate down and walked off. She kept leaving the area to go and stand in a huddle to complain with other servers, when she realized my friend and I where listening to her, she began speaking to her coworkers in Spanish. She came over one last time to give us our check and went back to ignoring me and my friend and talking to her co-workers. The bus boy came over and ran our credit so we could finally leave. I have been to the restaurant in the past, but this visit was horrible!!!

I am never going back to any of the Cyclone Anayas. This used to be the spot where I used to take my customers for lunch/drinks until this past Friday when we were denied service for inexplicable reasons. When we asked the manager for the reason of why we were being denied service, he said that it was because we were being too loud and that the bartenders came to us 3 times telling us to lower our voices (not true), we were never told anything. Apart from that, he said that each one of us had 3 drinks already and he couldnt sell to us anymore. At that point, I asked him to show me the receipt, because I knew that was not true. Sure enough, when he came with the receipt it only showed that we had 2 drinks. Manager never apologized for his mistakes and instead he called the cops. To add insult to injury, they automatically included a 20% gratuity on a party of 4 that was seated at the bar. This happened 03/04/16 around 7:00 PM.

I will never ever eat here or any other Cyclone Anayas EVER!! It took forever to get our food and then it came to us wrong ... My husband took one bite of his soft taco and spit it right out onto his plate. This never happens ! The meat was so dry and burnt! I took two bites of my taco and about threw up. We got home 15 minutes later and havent stopped vomitting since. Why? You ask.... Because I got FOOD POISONING from eating there last night 03/01/2016 at 8:30P.M. It is now 3:26P.M. Next day and I am still vomitting. I know for a fact it was this place because I had not eaten anything all day.. This was my only food intake. The manager on staff basically dismissed us. I called today and talked to the other manager. I will be letting the Corporate Office know not only about the FOOD POISONING but how were treated.

I wonder what the odds are of celebrating a 61st wedding anniversary? We went to the restaurant for a"quiet" dinner on Saturday, January 24th our 61st anniversary. Instead we found out at Cyclone Anayas they dont care about customers Our first table was by an active door leading to the outside. We had to ask two different managers to move us to a different table We ended up in a part of the restaurant that had a party that was so noisy that two other parties asked to be moved./ Our waiter told us the noisy party would be leaving in a minute but they stayed We ultimately paid for our 1/2 eaten meal and left. When we got home my wife called and the manager said that they would call us back with a voucher offer tomorrow. No call back! Anybody think well go back again? Not a chance.

This one star is only because I cant give it zero stars and its only for the waiter that tried his best to take care of our party of almost 20 people. He was the only one attending to us when we should have had 2 waiters. My dish was so so. But it came out wrong and the length of time to get all our food took forever! Some dishes were cold and some lukewarm. I dont think anyone had a hot plate. And when we tried to tell the manager about the waiter situation, he had this smug look on his face like he didnt want to hear it so we didnt say anything else. I was hoping to have a new place to dine with my husband but this is definitely not it. My first and only time dining here.
