Best fajitas anywhere! My company has Lupe Tortilla catered in sometimes from a different location but Id never been to the restaurant. This is my first time. I knew the fajitas were good but eating them fresh from the sizzling plate was a whole different level of good. The restaurant was clean and not too noisy. The music was not too loud like in other Mexican restaurants. You dont have to yell at the person next to you. The staff are exceptional and very friendly. There wasnt a wait to be seated and the food was served in a timely manner. The servings are huge and well worth the price. Even though I was absolutely stuffed, I opted for the fried banana dessert. Oh my gosh! It was amazing!!! Definitely not the typical lava cake or brownie and ice cream that everyone else serves. The banana is covered in cinnamon and sugar then rolled in a flour tortilla then deep fried. They drizzle chocolate sauce and serve with ice cream. Definitely try it! Expect to spend a good amount for dinner and dessert. I paid over $80 for 2 people to have beef fajitas and dessert. That included gratuity. I did not purchase any alcoholic beverages.

Went here with a large group of 12 ADULTS (no children). The server insisted that we order their special for 16.95 each person and EACH person is going to get: fajitas, enchiladas, queso, guacamole, and rice. He also exclaimed that we could only get this special price if EVERYONE gets the special. First I said nah. I knew what I wanted and it costed less than 16.95. But, everyone else thought it was great so I paid a little extra so everyone could get this magnificent deal of food. Everyone was excited to purchase this "special" however when it came, everyone had to share the servings. He brought out only 4 enchilada plates with 2 enchiladas on each plate. Then he brought out 4 fajita skillets. I feel like the server misrepresented the special as each person had to pay individually but the food was shared. Much of the queso was not eaten. The fajita toppings arrived about 5 minutes after the fajitas. For $16.95 at a Mexican restaurant, I expect a large serving of food and to be able to have leftovers for myself. Not a good deal. The food was OK, service was decent, clean restrooms, friendly staff.

My family used Lupe Tortilla to cater my surprise birthday party and they did an outstanding job with everything! My wife met with Carlos, the manager, who explained various items on the menu and she went with two different Party Packs of steak and chicken fajitas and added the bacon wrapped shrimp to the order. Everything was outstanding!! Our guests raved about how delicious the fajitas were and at the end of the night, everything but a small amount of flour tortillas was GONE! There were generous portions of everything--chips, queso, refried beans, salsa, rice, etc. Ivan delivered the food and set everything up for us and he was oustanding! He offered to let us use the warming chafers, free of charge, and since we were renting margarita machine, he delivered that earlier in the day and mixed everything for us to have the drinks frozen and ready for our guests when they arrived. He was very helpful and went out of his way to make sure that we had everything that we needed. Lupe Tortilla did a fantastic job and we would definitely recommend them for your next event! Well use them again.

You could start a religion with their beef fajitas, and that statement is still underplaying how good they are. This place.. oh man. Its my favorite restaurant of all time and has been throughout all of my childhood growing up in this area. Ive had 3 birthday dinners here and plan to have many more at the same location when I come visit home. The beef fajitas are what does it... You WILL NOT find better marinated beef ANYWHERE else, absolutely guaranteed. Their beef is the stuff of a Gods dreams, it is like they marinate it in the nectar of the Gods straight from Olympus itself. I cannot stress enough how amazing their beef fajita meat is. Its akin to a piece of classical art, no amount of words in the English language could describe its glory. And if all of this wasnt enough? The staff treats you not as a customer, but as a good family friend. No other waiters have ever made me feel absolutely delighted with service as this place continues to do every visit.

Overall it was an ok experience. I came after a night of not that much sleep, picked up my sister in law from the airport and came straight to Lupe Tortillas. The waiter was friendly, salsa was great, the beans tho that come with the salsa...could have had more flavor. Had queso, that was good. Now one thing abt the waiter, and I understand, but before we ordered our food he checked our table more frequently than after. And like I said, I understand why but my tea disappeared faster after the food FINALLY came. But yeh, abt that. The food took FOREVER to come. One of us ordered some kind of nachos that didnt look like any nachos I had seen before. It was like 9 chips with meat, cheese and bell pepper slices. But the meat was well seasoned. And I did enjoy the shape of the taco shell...hadnt seen that before and made eating it kind of interesting & fun. But overall, it was a nice lunch.

Update: Im officially declaring the beef fajitas my #1 current all time favorite meal anywhere. I recommend asking for both flour and corn tortillas because I still cant figure out which one is best. *** Ok. People werent lying about the fajitas. I was just going to get the chicken. But the waitress (super nice, btw) suggested I get the chicken & beef combo. I almost never get the beef. But it was so tender and marinated awesomely. I think I liked it better than the chicken. GET THE FAJITAS! And they give you both corn and flour tortillas, if you ask. That has happened to me before in Texas. But its totally shocking to me. In Ohio they hold on to tortillas like they wouldnt know how to make more if they ran out. (Which is probably true.)

We stopped here on our way to Galveston Island and were overjoyed with everything! The fajitas are the best in Houston, the tortillas are HUGE and delicious (try the corn, theyll blow your mind) and the margaritas were the best that weve had in a very long time! There is typically a wait as they really do make some of the best food in town but they are very good about getting tables ready quickly when available. Patio seating, central location in the Woodlands area and a great staff really topped our experience off. Thank you, Lupe, for another great experience and one helluva dinner!

2nd time and this time not goos. would have been better off with taco bell. the fajitas were so salty that you couldnt eat them. sad. this was for a special occasion birthday. now I know jot to return to this place. Ill give my money to another resturant. the service was not good which seems to be fairly common around this area, so I was not surprised. thank you god they is competition around here and I dont ever have to go back. also management didnt seem to care how our food and experience was so that explains a lot.
