In short, dont go here. - I have reported this establishment to the Frisco Department of Health and Safety for serving improperly prepared and contaminated food. - I informed the staff of these issues on three separate occasions and nothing happened. No callback, no response. I have been to this restaurant several times, but this was the last time. Normally a hibachi chef will cook the rice, vegetables, and meats separately. My chef decided to cook the rice first, then put the vegetables on the grill, cook all of the meat and fish that was ordered, then served the vegetables. Needless to say, they were black on several sides and tasted awful. In the course of cooking the NY Strip Steak and side of Salmon I ordered, the chef managed to under-cook a medium-well steak to the point that it was visibly raw and cold in several pieces severed to me. When the chef finished the salmon, he served it to the wrong customer, placing it on the plate, and previously-used fork, of someone not in my party. When the customer informed the chef of this mistake, the chef proceeded to move the contaminated food from the customers plate to my plate. I have spoken to the Frisco Department of Health and Safety and they confirmed that both of these actions are health code violations. To top all of this off, I spoke to the waitstaff both during the meal and after where the response was, "Some chefs do things differently." and "Theres nothing we can do". I called the restaurant 3 days later and spoke with someone who recorded the entire complaint and said the manager would call me back within two days. Nothing happened. Needless to say, I will never dine here again. There are better, and safer Hibachi places.

I am absolutely disgusted with this establishment. First we were seated about 40 minutes past our reservation no big deal but they told us for 15min they were cleaning our seating, we sit down and my husband immediately stands up because he feels his back is wet which is was covered in soy sauce I ran to the bathroom to get wet towels I tell the manger and I walk back to one of the cooks changing the seat. The manager or anyone NEVER once said they apologize this happened NOTHING. We went on about our dinner as we were there for a friends birthday which by the way I suggested since I have been eating here for 15 years + we get our check to pay and I paid but I walked to the manager ( AYA) I believe and I asked what they will be doing about his shirt which is stained with soy sauce she said you already cleaned it up and this has never happened before, I said well it did tonight and its not only his shirt we saw it was all over his shorts she said well sorry send us the cleaning bill... in the most rude way possible I walked off to get my purse to walk out and she is talking about us to another guest and the manager and the other hostess was LAUGHING at us as we walked out and they said " BYEEEEE" like a bunch of high school girls... I am sickened at the way we were treated I hope everybody reads this before ever walking into this place again... I promise you I have never been treated like this before and the manager should never work in a restaurant again because customer service is not her strong point. I will be contacting the owner in hopes they do not let someone like her run their restaurant and run many more people out.

I dont think, prior to tonight, that Id ever actually been snubbed before. Im not sure what I did to earn the aforementioned snubbing, if I did in fact do anything snubworthy at all. I love Japanese food, I love sushi, I work hard and deserve at least a modicum of respect. I do not however, deserve to be ignored by the wait staff despite my politeness. I do not deserve to watch two parties enter ten minutes after me, and receive immediate service while I am repeatedly overlooked by the staff in general. I get that Im wearing a Star Wars shirt, and maybe the owner is a Trekkie or something, but it is called the "service industry" for a reason. I cant speak to the quality of their food, as I was never given the opportunity to order any. After twenty minutes of waiting for a waitress who assured us that shed "be right with us" before hurrying off to wait on the other two couples that came in while we were waiting, we left without fanfare. Im sure their food is fine, the other reviews attest to that. I will not be finding out firsthand.

We eaten here 5 times in the last 8 months, and we have NEVER had a bad experience in terms of quality of meats, cleanliness, atmosphere, and prices for drinks (though to be fair, we only get bottled beer, their mixed drinks may or may not be good...but this is a hibachi grill, not a world-famous bar). Food is always well prepared, steaks are cooked to order, chefs always put on a good show, and you never leave without stuffing your belly and having 2nds. I typically get the Tokyo Trio, eat the shrimp and some steak/chicken there, then take the rest home. Compared to the quality of food you get from expensive places like Silver Fox, Bobs Chop House, etc., its the best quality meal for your $ youll get in Frisco, TX

I am going to be completely honest... I ate here because Beni Hana was packed and you could not get a table until well after most normal people eat. That should have been my first clue. The basic problem with this place is atmosphere, and cleanliness. The Hibachi tables were filthy and nasty to look at. The drinks we ordered were quite weak and VERY expensive... The fried rice was WAY over cooked... even crunchy at times... The entrees were prepared well and the beef was very good. The scallops not as good... This place needs a make over and serious good cleaning to charge that kind of money for dinner.

Worst experience ever and will not be back!! Went to lunch with 3 co-workers and all ordered the same meal. Jinbeh decided to charge everyone different prices and when we brought to the managers (Andrew Putra) attention he began to be very unprofessional. He was pointing to the menu out loud in front of other guest to show us what we ordered and then wanted to take the checks and add $4.00 more dollars for fried rice. We asked him to please stop yelling at his customers and he continued and also said “He was not trying to be a smart ass.” Very overpriced and unprofessional.

I love this place! Their services is the best of any place I have ever been. Most of the time your drinks dont even get to empty before they refill them...actually a lot of times they doesnt even get to half way empty. Love the food, great taste!!! Their chicken fried rice is almost or as good as Benihanas. Some of the chefs are better than others, but overall great. We love coming here, usually about 2-4 times a month. My husband even goes to Jinbeh sometimes for lunch by himself (I work out of town, so I cant join him) and hes a very picky eater.
