Weve been looking for a "good" sushi spot since moving from North plano. There are many options around the central DFW area but they all seem to be lacking in some way or form. This isnt true for Suzushii. First impression when we walked in was a quaint little restaurant with ample seating and eager young staff. Now, in most regards, youth doesnt mean anything but from experience I have found that having young (sub-40) sushi chefs is definitely detrimental to quality. Once again, Suzushii shucks that standard. We were greeted by Derek, he would be serving us for the night. His service and attention was perfect. Not hovering but always available. We started with our standard for any sushi stop, large house sake, Kirin Light and a lemon water. As stated before, he was fast. The house sake was a bit fragrant but not over painfully so. It would do the trick, and if they offered the happy hour specials that places like Sushi Robota does, the sake would be welcomed without hesitation. We wanted an appetizer so we requested the gyoza but they were out for the night. Not a problem, we went with the fried calamari instead. Not exactly am expected menu item but this place isnt your standard, traditional sushi place. Either way, we were greatful they were out. This was by far some of the best if not the best fried calamari Ive ever had. Immensely fresh and perfectly cooked. So tender and flavorful with flaky batter similar to tempura but a little better. After that, we decided to get two rolls and a bit of sashimi in the form of their sashimi sampler, sweetheart roll and hot momma roll. Now, Im very American and love my Wasabi with a touch of soy. So in preparation of the sushi arrival, I mixed the two. Thats the last time they were touched. The sashimi arrived with some of the freshest, richest and perfectly served fish Ive had. It just fell apart in my mouth and even a newborn could have gummed it apart. Then came the sweetheart roll. Now I can honestly say this is more of a desert roll. Best eaten last but it is delicious and decadent without making you feel like a glutton. And of course, the best came last. The Hot Momma. It has a robust flavor and just enough heat to leave you begging for more. I woke up this morning wanting another roll, or three. As you can assume, we thoroughly enjoyed our first visit and will be back.

Ive been a customer for years and its the best sushi Ive had. They did mess up an order once, our order didnt go through and we sat there for a long time waiting after only having had an appetizer and they brought us our check. After confusion then clarification, all was well. They are quick, friendly, affordable, reliable, and nice yet casual. The Mansfield location is also a favorite although their service suffers a bit when they get super busy. The Cedar Hill service is horrendous every time we go that we lived in Cedar Hill for a year but made the drive to Arlington for sushi instead. Specifically, they forgot my 5-year-olds order and brought it out when all of the adults had already finished and were ready to leave. Another time it took over an hour to get our food and very long to get drinks, our check, etc. so that when we left the restaurant it was past my childs bedtime. Arlington location is your best bet.

The owners are very rude and ignorant. My family of 5 went to eat and they charged us for having a party of 6 and included the tip automatically. Then instead of refunding the money we got charged the same price twice. Then the managers argued back which is unacceptable and horrible customer service. My dad went back with his bank statement to prove to them we got charged twice but the owner still argued even with proof. They are lucky their food is decent, they are in trouble if another sushi place opens close by. They also give you smaller portions compared to the suzushi in Mansfield and are more expensive.

This is a hidden gem. You cannot see this restaurant from the main road. I did make the mistake of going when there was a game at the ATT stadium so parking was limited and traffic was horrible. However, it was worth it. I got 3 rolls...the incredible roll, the suzushii roll and the chicken roll. The list of rolls is amazing. Every roll I have ever eaten here is so good. The food is fresh. Service is great. The best sushi in DFW I have been to thus far! Also fried rice is best ever.

Make a short note, please aware of unpleasant service with very slow, no refilled the drinks, no utensils set up even after served food. Please dont never order the "Thai food". Its not suppose like that.... Food has too strong taste with sauce and the meat seems like warming up with microwave and put it up top of sauce. We went down there for dinner bec of the reviews. We wasted the money and left food after tasted it. Maybe roll is ok.

Whoever picks out their yellow tail knows what theyre doing. Best quality yellow tail in the DFW area by far. If you like yellow tail sashimi or sushi, I would highly recommend it. The tuna just melts in your mouth. Its buttery and the subtle way the fat on the tuna permeates through your taste buds makes the hair on the back of your neck stand on end. Awesome!

My kids and I love eating here. We try something different each time we go. My husband is not a sushi lover but they have other meals on the menu for those who do not enjoy sushi. The price is reasonable and you can see the chefs making the sushi which is great to watch. its near the Cowboys stadium and lots shopping. Best sushi spot in Arlington by far.

I got the spider roll and fried rice! It was nice and tasty, definitely met my expectations. About $10 a meal so it is average, but the portions are adequate (not little at all, but i can def finish my plate). I liked my waitress, but they did take a while to bring out our food. Besides that, good sushi, bento, ramen, and pad thai! I recommend

This used to be my go to sushi when it was Sushi Zone. No problem with the service and she was on top of our drinks. The environment was blah and a very stale smell in the air. Sushi did not have a fresh taste and the rice was sub par. Presentation and freshness was weak. Sushi Domo is most likely my new spot.

Food is amazing. Miso soup makes miSO happy! Service is not bad, but when they get busy, service slows (obviously). Granted, I HAVE had better, but not by much. While the prices are slightly higher (emphasis on slightly) than average, the portion sizes (dine-in) are definitely bigger for sides like rice.

This place is great. Dont take the review from "joy kim" seriously... my guess is that person works for/owns another restaurant in the area and they are just jealous of how amazing the food is here at Suzushii. My wife and I come here at least once a week. Great service, even better food.

Honestly we werent really impressed with the food. The rolls were blah and sounded a lot better than they tasted. They all pretty much tasted the same even though we got totally different rolls. Anyone who has had good, real, FRESH sushi, dont waste your money here.
