I dont usually do this but I feel like after coming here I think I should. I say this with absolutely no spite or malice but this was a very uncomfortable experience for me. I came here visiting from new mexico with my family. Upon arriving we waited for almost 15 mins without being waited on. The servers who did look our way ignored us while the others seemed to be avoiding eye contact. A manager walked by tables AROUND us and not once even acknowledged us. My family and I got up to leave when another manager came and asked us to stay. I was uncomfortable but my family and I decided to stay. Once we finally did have a server come to us she acted scared, hesitant as if she had never spoken to people before. I believe that good customer service consists of yes maam no maam. We got "yeahs" and a lack of knowledge. Im sorry but this was very bad and we wont be back.

Monterrey grilled chicken-awesome! Great flavor perfectly cooked and seasoned. Gator gar-good. Service was top notch! Friendly atmosphere, clean, saw a good mix of culture customers, seafood is soo fresh. The shrimp cocktail was soo good. The managerbw black hair is on her game-very organized, friendly, and was helping along side by side with anything and everything. Our waitress a very nice young lady. Feels like a great local mom and pops restaurant. For 2 drinks, 2 entees, 1 small shrimp cocktail=$37 pretty cheap! Good portions. We live 45 min away, totally worth the drive! We will definitely be back.

Service was pispoor at best. Waitresses walked around doing everything to avoid direct eye contact. After my fiancé & I arrived it tooke over 10 minutes to get service. It wouldve been longer had I not flagged a waitress down (Jay). Granted it was busy & backed up, but the least they couldve welcomed us & said well be with you shortly. The only good thing about the experience is the flagged waitress Jay... she quickly took our orders & came back later to apologize for the delays in the kitchen & also kindly swapped out our beverages (the fresh lemonade wasnt so tastey). Not sure well be back anytime soon.

Good service, fun atmosphere. Had the gumbo which had great flavor. Try serve it with a lime wedge, so I squeezed the lime in the gumbo and was pleasantly surprised by the additional flavor. The only thing I didnt like about the gumbo was the huge oyster that was in it, but I think thats just personal preference. Also had the fish and shrimp chipotle with the mambo shrimp rice. The rice reminded me of Chinese rice, it was good. I I lied here I would have taken the leftover rice home. The fish was good, no fight flavor and so was the shrimp. The sauce had a little kick to it. Im glad we tried it.

Las meseras tienen una mala actitud y ni se diga si van mas de 7 personas como ya tienen la propina ganada ni atienden. Mala muy mala actitud .La comida muy rica sin duda . Tengo mas de tres años asistiendo a este lugar y ninguna vez me han atendido apropiadamente.

I have been coming here for years and its had its ups and downs but right now it is at its best! I had the mixed grilled, a pound of crawfish, and some margaritas. Needless to say I had left overs and will be eating them later. If you are looking for a good seafood restaurant or just somewhere to have the best margarita EVER you have to check out Mambo. I have not been impressed with food like that in a long time. Everything was good. I went to celebrate my birthday and I am glad I chose it. If you need someone to go with you I am down to go. Lol

Worst place by far, $13 for 1/2lb of jumbo shrimp, which were not only medium sized shrimp to me and only gave me 6 of them, also orded $10 fried shrimp which was horribe tasting with cold fries, then a $7 dos equis which the glass it came in smelled. In total my tab was $30, even the server said he doesnt eat there because of the high prices and low quality food. Should have stuck to my normal spot Fish n Tails. STAY AWAY from this place not worth it!!!

Very Disappointed at this place. Service was bad, waitress will only give you their 100% attention if you are a man or I should say a group of men. I went in with my family had to wait for someone to come to our table for more than 10min plus, food wasnt all that great & they say they are famous for their mambo rice no different than chinese rice. Inside is super nice thats about the only good thing I can say about this place. I will never go back....

It was ok, for the prices, I expected my server to be more knowledgeable than the service I recieved, the manager told me my server was new but when i asked the same questions over where their oysters were from, she didnt know the answer either, when i asked if she thought the chef would know (which i know they would since im in the same industry and know they probably put in the order,) she said no probably not.. That kind of sucks service wise.

Today is Wednesday, October the 12, 6:01 p.m. Just 4 tables with customers, they take severa minutes to take care of me and my girl, awful servilady the lady is to pushy, offer me a mi helada and I dont drink alcohol, i ask for somethig of the menu but she say i cant order it. Bad, bad service. I will never comeback. The manager is like he is not here, just kidding with the personal and forgot for complete of the customers needs.

I dont know how people have complained about this place. It was FANTASTIC!!!! As soon as you sit down, you are greeted by a waiter, and throughout your meal, the waiters as well as the manager are constantly checking up on you. The food is served quick, and it is DELICIOUS! The prices are very reasonable, and the ambiance is very family friendly. This will definitely become one of my new favorite hang out spots!

Were regular clients,usually every Sunday because we love their "vuelve a la Vida soup". Unfortunately we came in a Saturday at lunch time and ordered the usual...what a fiasco! The potato was way undercooked,we have to bring it back because it didnt have either the octopus not the oysters,when told the manager his answer was"Ill tell the chef to cook more the potato and thanks for letting me know". Seriously?

WARNING DO NOT EAT HERE! aside from the poor service this place will mess your stomach ALL THE WAY UP. I barely finished eating before all of it came right back up. I HAD A VERY ROUGH NIGHT! I can still hear my intestines cussing ne out for this. Its very unfortunate because the food actually tasted good, but I thought this was the end for me. I thought I was going to DIE!
