Came here for my moms birthday, I have been to the dallas location and thought it would be great for some oyster finds. This location is much bigger and nicer, but depending on where youre seated the chalkboard menus (with the seasonal good stuff) is hard to see. The waiter was kind of awkward. He would take half the tables order (0f 7) and then walk away. Had to be reminded a few times about things but was friendly and helpful nonetheless. There are too many menus in my opinion. Not only is there the normal menu for all year, one menu across from the bar, one menu behind the bar, drink menu on the back or the normal menu and another drink menu/ shellfish menu on the table. PHEW! Too many options. Food was very good! Unfortunately the menu was grammatically incorrect and I got confused with my order. I ordered the salmon chipotle tacos (awesome), chipotle cole slaw, and sweet potato fries. This is how the menu read and so I thought I was getting two sides. NOT THE CASE! The coleslaw was on the tacos and not a side. This resulted in a miscommunication with the waiter and some extra food that was not needed. Otherwise I would definitely come back just a few awkward situations that are easily fixable.

I had seen the sign of this place on the previous evening when I was walking around. So I bookmarked it. They day I had to leave Dallas, I had a late flight and a bunch of time to kill. I walked in around noon and this place was packed. Luckily I was able to find a seat at the bar. I ordered my drink and went over the menu. Wow what a great looking menu. Poboys (shrimp and oysters ones), gumbo, fried catfish, raw oysters.... wow.. I was in heaven. I decided on the fried oyster poboy, with a side of their apple cider vinegar coleslaw. I was there during the lunch rush and the food took a long time to come out. But honestly didnt mind because of my flight. I warn, if you come on your lunch break get there early or youll probably run out of time. My sandwich comes and I can instantly tell its going to be amazing. I splashed on some louisiana hot sauce and went down on this bad boy like nobodies business! It was literally one of the better Poboys Ive had. Not the best, but one of them. The coleslaw was great too. Next I moved on to some raw oysters. They had a pretty big selection so I had them pick me out a dozen. Yum! I recommend this place for locals and travelers. Until next time....

Great lunch date place and service. Came here early the other day for a lunch date. This place gets very busy so we arrived early at around 11 and they did not disappoint. They have a huge chalkboard with all of the specials and definitely very fresh fish. The service is knowledgeable and attentive. Glasses of Iced tea were always full. I had one of the specials - a swordfish Chile Relleno and tomatillos with some queso fresco. I loved having a relleno with a nice and still crunchy breading even when smothered that I could still cut with the side of my fork. This was no tex mex because the sides were a red potato salad and a sautéed bok choy. So much more refreshing than the usual beans and rice. My boyfriend had a combo of blackened catfish and gulf shrimp over waffle fries. Both dishes were delicious I also took their key lime pie to go for an afternoon office snack. It was fantastic - not too tart and a nice thick graham cracker crust.

Ive reviewed this location before and I gave it 5 stars. Now its getting 2. As usual the atmosphere was top notch the food was incredible and the menu was great... My server, Jaz, eas horrible. It took him 20 minutes to bring drinks or anything for that matter and when he brought it he usually forgot something. In the end he asked us how much longer wed be there for. We asked to split the check and he handed us 2 different bills and said "I dunno if I got it right". I paid cash and he didnt bring me change or a receipt or come back so I left. Hopefully something action gets taken because every other server there is amazing, as is the manager, and the food is out of this world! My wife and I are regulars and usually always have an amazing experience!

Yum. Just went there for the first time; I had herb crusted cod with lump crab hollandaise, asparagus and roasted red potatoes, it was delicious. Our waitress Sade was a sweetheart and very accommodating. The food is very fresh and I dont know any other place that sends out your food so fast without the quality suffering but Fish City pulls it off beautifully. We got samples of all theirs soups and the fried oyster nachos that I could only taste the pico de gallo that they are topped with but who doesnt like pico de gallo???They sell beers from local breweries in the DFW area like Lakewood, Deep Ellum, Rarh & Sons, Peticolas so thats a plus. I will definitely be going back again and soon.

I enjoy their seafood. Word to the wise, its Dallas, so understandably their oysters are not always fresh, and their gumbo is sticky and burned when it gets within a couple hours of closing time at night... But those are my only recommendations on what to avoid. The rest of the food comes out hot and yummy! The grilled shrimp are my favorite! The crawfish dishes are great too. They also make a really delicious margarita on the rocks that they mix Brandy with.

Amazing food....visited first time and simply followed our nose (very nice flavor in the air in the parking lot already) and did not disappoint. Extensive menu with interesting variations of simple dishes as well as more special dishes. Great flavor without over-seasoning. Fair amounts of food for the dollar. A good restaurant to repeat visit and work through the menu each visit. Highly recommend visiting at least once. Well be back next opportunity.

The service was terrible on many levels. We were ignored after getting our drinks and appetizers. We had to call the store and ask the waitress to come take our order. She later brought two $5 off cards as an apology. The fine print said $5 off $25, one per party. Yea, we gave them back to the manager and said we will not be back.

First time going here. Had my doubts but was glad I did. It is a must to come here if you have never been. Treated better than most places and they truly want you to enjoy the food. Even offer a flight of food before you order. I think more places could stand to take a page or 2 from them on customer service and delectable food.

Oyster nachos, shrimp tacos, smokin hot shrimp and Serafin fish tacos. Are my favorite things from this place. My mouth is getting watery just thinking about this place. I love me some seafood and this place is it. Even their key lime pie is on point. Try this place with a nice XX Equis.

The food is just awesome! I told them it was my first visit and I got a little sample of soups and a small bite of the nachos. The nachos are amazing. I dont normally like nachos but I would eat these all day! Had some super tasty shrimp and waffle fries. I cant want to bring my friends.
