I called in for a pick up and I would say never do it again. The first person who answered "how can I help you" I told them I wanted to place an order for pickup. They told me to hold. Another person answered in about 4 mins later asking me the same question I told them pick up and I was placed on hold again. This happened two more times and when 5th person answered I told them I didnt want to be placed on hold since its happened to me 4 other times. The person then got an attitude with me over the phone and this is what she told me " I have other people here and you are not more important then them" and then hung up on me. Yay that happned! I called back again and asked for a manager someone came on the line and I explained what happened they apologized and said they are busy but that was inexcusable. She transfers me back to pick up where the pick up person answered stating how can I help you I told them pick up the person hung up on me. This happened 2 more times when I tried to call back in and yes I have patience of a Saint! I finally got someone professional and placed my order. When I went up there my order was wrong and I had to wait for them to correct it. After all this I told them I was not paying till I got my order and saw that it was correct! This place is a mess the food might be good but the service is awful. The one on Lemon is better so professional and take care of their customers. This one in Duncanville just brings shame to the name. Thing I took from this is DO NOT PAY THEM UNTIL YOU GET YOUR ORDER! They work faster since they dont have your money up front.

I visit Pappadeauxs at least once a month and I pretty much get the same thing each visit. Today my party of 4 got there at about 11:30 and we were seated. The waitress took our order. She brought our salads and drinks. Normally I dont finish my salad before my food arrive, not today. We noticed that tables that came after us had eaten and were leaving. We had a manger over and she said that she would investigate. She didnt return, so we stopped another manager. The 2nd manager came back and said it would be out shortly, she was asked if the order was placed and she sad no. After that the 1st manger game and said that it would be out shortly, she was asked if the order had been placed she said yes it was just that we want it to come out hot. Both offer free dessert. Not one person asked if the food was okay. When I got my ticket I have been charged for the free dessert they offered. The ticket was adjusted, however no apologies were given. Very disappointed.

I went to this location about an hour ago to take my wife for her birthday. We get in and get seated and no one acknowledges us at all. Everybody standing around not busy but no one said hey or anything. So after sitting for about 30 mins we get up and as I walk by the host stand I let it be known that I will be leaving and going to spend my money where people actually wants to make money. Im a General Manager for my restaurant chain and I would defenitly mot have going on what I seen today and especially on a day such as today that I was taking my wife to so she can eat and enjoy her birthday. So I drove all the way to Arlington to this place called Cajun Corner where the service is amazing and they will defenitley earn the few hundreds I decide to spend today. I will defenitly continue to let it be known what a way to ruin a birthday for my wife at Pappadeaux In Duncanville.

I took someone to this restaurant for their birthday and the service was terrible. First of all our waitress took too long bringing out our food. And then they tried to charge extra for some sauce that came on the meal that we ordered many of times before. Then when time for the check they claim in order for me to get a decent to go container it had to be a carry out. So all the food that I ordered wouldnt fit. And to top it off they claim it was something wrong with my credit card well when they ran a second time it went through so that was telling me that something was wrong with their credit card machine. Our experience with this restaurant was a great disappointment to me and my group as opposed to the money you have to spend along with tips.

I have eaten at Pappas Bros. Pappasitos, and Pappadeauxs all over the country and I havent been disappointed until last night. Burned bread, dirty dishes (twice), and our food arrived late and very bland. That is something I would have never expected in a Pappas restaurant. The waiter was great! Very kind and overly apologetic, and I didnt let our experience dictate his tip. I would suggest a surprise visit from corporate to see for yourself. I will still visit the other locations, but I will not return to this one.

My family took me to this location on Mothers Day and despite being busy, the service was wonderful (thanks Michael!) We sat in the bar because we wanted to be seated quicker and let others get a chance to be seated and enjoy their meal. The wait staff worked so hard to make sure everyone was taken care of and they put in great team effort! We were very impressed and the food was amazing, as usual. They even passed out pretty floral bags for all the moms and had face painting and balloon animals. Thank you!

After a 40 minute wait we were strung along the entire restaurant and left twice by our seater! This was very annoying. The manager had to come find us and made a place for us to sit. We were not offered any drinks and had to ask for water twice again.. after we had already ordered. Staff consisted of eyerolls and grunts. The manger was nice, but the staff needs major retraining. Yes, it was very busy but common courtesy is a must. Disorganization and rudeness must be addressed and should not be tolerated.

The first table they offered us required all four chairs to be wiped off (could not find a damp cloth) and the second table had to be wiped off and had only one set of utensils (we were never offered any - had to take three from the table next to us). The final straw was my glass of sweet tea...I took a long drink and felt something funny on the glass (with my lower lip)...DIRTY GLASS!!! OMG!!! Dont know why I stayed...The food was amazing as usual. The cleanliness however was a different story.

Always enjoy myself at Pappadeauxs however the waiter was not very hospitable. He seem to purposefully ignore us when we were trying to get his attention, one of our party guest had to get up and go and get him and he never came over to see if we needed anything else but he seemed to have been attentive to everybody all around us. There were only four of us and the only reason I am giving two stars is because we enjoyed being at Pappadeauxs but not the service. The food was delicious.
