My family and I have been twice and both times we all really enjoyed it. They have these cute wooden tables with checker board pattern on them. Then they have mason jars filled with checkers or bags with chess pieces, so you can play while you waitor while you eat. Both times the food always came out quickly and they bring it right to your table. Items ordered: chili, chowder, Mexican style chicken soup, split pea soup, veggie quesadilla, shrimp quesadilla, fish taco, chicken soft taco, fries and rice. Everything was good except for the split pea soup. My husband didnt like it. The veggie quesadilla and Mexican chicken soup were both delicious. My two faveoite items. Support your local restaurants! This place make it easy!

I will never go here again!!! I told them no cilantro the girl at the register said no problem keep in mind the girl speaks and understand english. I get home take a bite of it and surprise! cilantro is in it! i am very allergic to cilantro and when I called the girl said "I should of mentioned that Im allergic"..... what is the difference?! I said NO cilantro means NO! By the way I have ordered there before and they have done what I wanted with out cilantro but, today some how was "my lucky day" and its apparently impossible. And not to mention she was rude!!! Love shooting myself up with a epi-pen and then maybe hospital I go. Cant wait to call my lawyer and have cactus cafe pay for my hospital bill.

This is one of my favorite places in the area, with great Tex-Mex and terrific folks working there. They have cool special offers, like "Full Moon Taco Madness", their monthly special, or every nights $5 burritos after 10 PM. The photo is of the wonderful bacon and eggs taco, and fresh pico De Gallo I had for breakfast today. 1 taco pretty much fills me up, and with an endless cup of coffee the bill was all of $3.40. You cannot beat this breakfast! Sign up for the free rewards program, they appreciate their customers and they show it.

I have been an avid supporter and customer for many years- growing up in Glen Cove and Sea Cliff I started eating there shortly after the restaurant opened up and luckily for me when I moved out east to Holtsville the 2nd location is just around the corner!!! No matter which establishment you eat at or order from the food is always great, hot and fresh and the service is impeccable!!! Never had a complaint in all these years!!! Even when ordering delivery it is always quick to arrive. Their service is greatly appreciated!!

So annoyed. Called in an order specifically said absolutely no refried beans because I hate them. My boyfriend picks up the food and gets home and sure enough the nachos I ordered are drowning in them. You have one job. Its not hard. Ive managed restaurants before you should seriously consider investing in employees who actually want to do their jobs well.

Ordered 9 tacos , arroz con pollo , and a vegetarian burrito. Fast delivery for inferior Mexican food. I asked for sour cream on the tacos. No sour cream although the hostess insisted it was put on. The tacos were very runny and overly spiced. I would definitely NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone. I have a feeling Taco Bell would be better.

Awesome place. Great food with awesome prices. I like to come here often and play checkers with friends and eat allot. I love the wings, nachos, enchiladas and the burritos are excellent. Its a little place in a shopping center so Its surprisingly good. If you like the place definitely find them on facebook for killer deals like $1 taco nights.

Maybe their food is good. I dont know. I will never know. All I DO know is that my team made a detour to this place for lunch and they had the audacity to be closed on the 4th of july, a time where burritos wouldve been at absolute premium. Ya let me down, guys. Ya let the whole squad down. And most importantly, ya let America down. God damn.

Honestly one of our favorite places for food. Enjoy the burritos, corn chicken chowder, the house cheese sauce and more... Havent had anything we dont like, but remember to ask for Texas style if you arent a fan of corn tortillas (wont make that mistake again). Weve even started going for breakfast burritos.

Great Food. Love to order from this place. Service is fast too. Got to my job in 30 minutes. However, The service that answers the phone is down right RUDE. She is not patient and is very blunt and short. Tone of voice is not something a customer wants to hear.

Delicious quesadillas and burritos. Guac is fresh and always delicious. Shrimp burrito is AMAZING. Atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. Tables have game boards on them so you can play checkers or chess. Nice place to hang out with friends.

$5 burritos after 10pm. Would spend at leat 15 at taco bell to fill up. Why wait in a drive through for 15min for grade f meat. Thats right its the same grade as dog food. Go to the cafe and support local business instead of corporate.

Phenomenal service! Called to ask some info and suggestions, came in and recieved the same great service, and they offer a nice array of foods to choose from. Cant wait to make this my usual stop after work. Food is good for anytime!

This place is ridiculously good. Like real deal good. The salsa is excellent, the enchiladas are awesome and the tacos are some of the best Ive had. The portions are gigantic and the prices are super low. I love this place!!!

Love their nachos. There are times where the food lacks that love. Like every place, its hard to stay consistent. I have ordered many many times, to go, to eat there so I know what I am talking about. Burritos are good too.

This place is a hidden gem. The place was great, food was great. At 8:30pm there are 1 dollar tacos and the place becomes like a social club. Staff was nice and helpful, really recommend it!
