Monday April 3rd ... My lil lady and I went to eat sushi before our outlet mall trip. While sitting there looking at the menus that were sticky and falling apart, I noticed a young lady cleaning the tables off, as the lunch crowd had just cleared out. Our waitress came and took our order and we both got waters. While waiting and talking with my beautiful sweetheart, I noticed that the woman who was cleaning the tables had abruptly stopped and scurried away quickly. I shrugged it off but it was odd to say the least. Then after only a few moments of talking, the woman returns back with another woman who was either a head waitress, or manager. I noticed them looking all around this table on the ground and thought perhaps they had lost something. Our waitress brings out the waters and my salad and my better half her miso soup. After eating a few bites of salad that was covered in a terrible ginger dressing, I noticed that what the ladies were looking at was disturbing. Crawling up the wall was a line of bugs of all sizes going up to the ceiling and down the wall and onto the ground where the women were gathered in confusion. I told my lady and went to wash the terrible ginger salad out of my mouth. I pick up my water and no lie.. there was a bug in it. This means that my water which i had just received couldnt make it from the kitchen or fountain without getting a bug in it... What about my food? We were both disgusted. I got up and we left right away. No one said anything as Im sure they could see we were disgusted. I wont be back.. and i only gave it a star cuz i had to in order to post...

Pretty decent place. Their happy hour deals are what you want to go for if you have the chance. Compared to other like establishments, their fish was fresh. This place was understaffed when I went there on Sunday. Our waiter, who was busting his butt, trying to keep things together, seemed to have every table in the establishment. I feel sorry for the guy but he was killing it with kindness and was very polite. To the owner of this establishment: Get some more people and this place could be one of the best sushi places in the far NW of Houston.

I want to give a 4.5 stars, but I will comment with my various experiences here. Their sushi rolls and sashimi are good, and the portion is satisfying. About 6 months ago we came for dinner and the soup was very salty (I had to add half bow of water) so I didnt go back for a while. The recent visit was pleasant. Their service is good overall during lunch time.

The food was delicious but the service was very slow. Entered Restaurant at 600 pm and left Restaurant at 830 pm. Waitress would disappear for 15-20 min at a time. Delayed ordering appetizers and drinks and entree. Meanwhile Restaurant was not busy as it has been some evenings. Bar had 2 waiters for 3 people . Never saw a manager.

While I have been a big fan of sushi, the sushi I do get here is very good and has opened my eyes to trying more of it. The hibachi is always a big hit with me here and the food here is wonderful. Wonderful atmosphere, and friendly wait staff. This place has become very popular due to the great food and service here.

We walked in for the first time today on Mothers Day! I had my husband and children and the host was extremely rude when I asked questions about how they worked. She was very unfriendly to the point where we just walked out without eating. I will never be back to this place.

My sister and I have been looking for a place to met midway. Well we have found it! The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious! We stayed over 2 hours visiting and felt welcome.

Best Japanese food in Northwest Houston. Service is great, the food is great, and it has never been too crowded. The only downside is parking can be a mess because it shares a parking lot with the outlet mall.

They have very good lobster rolls! I came with my family twice, always had a good time here. However, their hibachi took us a long time to wait for the chief. That is the reason why I give 4 stars.

This is the best sushi/Japanese I have had in the Houston area since moving to Texas 2years ago. The tuna was very fresh as this is something I consistantly see issues with elsewhere in the area.

Place is nice and the food is really good; the Hibachi is highly recommended. Rolls are a little pricey, but good. A nice place to have lunch or dinner with the family and kids.
