In the flatirons mall food court, Sarku Japan runs a stand-alone sushi stand, as well as a fast-food restaurant across from Old Navy. Not that anybody expects top tier food at a mall food court, but eating at the fast food restaurant was the first time Ive been food poisoned in the past 5 years. The olily mini serving of vegetables, and soggy rice was likely not to blame. It was the chicken itself, that tasted ok at first, but after a few bites immediately stirred up an upset stomach. Its now been 18 hour since ingestion of the teriyaki checken, and I still feel like crap. Couldnt sleep well. Still dont have an appetite. Stomach feels perpetually full. Ive felt the urge to puke multiple times, but nothing has come out.

Sarku Japan has been a go to restaurant since I was little, and never has it changed! The food is always amazing(and let me be clear about this, not talking about Sarku Japans sushi bar which shouldve never gone into business)! Their sauce has been perfected, combined and served in their ever famous Teriyaki Chicken! I am not one of those paid reviewers to bring down businesses, I am a college student. I will never stop eating at Sarku Japan!

Dry, poorly put together sushi. Ginger is colored, wasabi is horseradish, not real wasabi. Added to this, sushi is served on a styrofoam plate. How this business is allowed to run in a shopping mall I do not know. Repulsive.

"I ate here a few times it was good but had really long waits, Then some people would get out of line and instead of throwing the sushi that was half made away they would mix it into another roll.
