This is by far one of the worst Mexican restaurant Ive been to in my life. The food was not authentic whatsoever, I should know, I grew up eating authentic Mexican food. Not to mention the food, is overpriced, and the waitress and waiters werent very attending and accommodating. If you grew up eating REAL authentic Mexican food, I definitely do not recommend this place

Im from southern California where we know good traditional mexicali and authentic mexican food. Ive been dying for some quality mexican food since i moved here 20 years ago. Since then i have found 2 places, el farol and la puerco leron. But puerco leron has since went out of business. The service here cant be beat either!

Tasty. My friend of Latinx descent also approved, which is more important. I didnt drink alcohol personally, but they looked like generous servings... One of us ended up with a margarita in a water glass, another with a (sorry idr what drink) in a glass that could hold about a softball worth of liquid. Go eat there.

I really like this place. Solid tex-mex if that what you like. The sort of place that your plate is hot with a pile of beans and rice and cheese melted over the whole thing. Pretty standard fair, very similar to La Cocina.

Its, you know, your standard TexMex place, but reliable and cozy. The people working there have been there forever and are super nice. Perfect impromptu I-dont-want-to-cook-tonight spot.
