The quality was very good. And they have one of the Best Groupon deals for sushi in Denver, 15 for 30$. The fish was fresh and carried no concerning smell nor taste. However, the price reflects that. 2 salmon nigiri was 6 dollars, as an example. Much of the staff gave a Japanese hello when I entered, and the lady I talked to (I just did takeout) was very nice when I requested a couple things from the kitchen, those being if I could have salmon for half of my sushi special nigiri, and also if the scallops could be made spicy. And on the note of scallops, I think a lot can be told about a sushi bar by the quality of its scallops. They were perfect, sweet, tender, had a little roe on top, a pleasure to eat. There is a huge saltwater fish tank in the middle of the restaurant, and a sushi bar, and a regular bar, and plenty of regular tables. Im a sushi fanatic, and this fulfilled all my expectations. Though I must say, It would cost a lot to eat here had I not purchased my meal on Groupon.

Another great meal at Menya! Tonkatsu Ramen, Tapas, and Sushi. The quality of everything was fantastic and the chefs provided us with some mind-blowing tastings while we waited! This is easily one of our new favorite restaurants! UPDATE: In 35 years of eating sushi all over the world, Menya easily has one of the most uniquely talented and creative sushi chefs Ive ever encountered. I recommend ANYONE who enjoys sushi to spend a meal at the sushi bar and youre guaranteed to taste something incredible that you havent tasted before!

Mediocre food at a premium price. Sushi was a real dissapoint as the fish was smelly and old. Best thing on the menu was the seaweed salad. Service was terrible. No refills on drinks and the cooked dishes arrived at different times. I know why there was no wait when we walked in. As others have mentioned, food is over salted. Been going to Land of Sushi a half mile up the road for years. Always an excellent experience. Wont be coming back to Menya.

Staff is super friendly. The food has always been delicious. Sometimes the wait can be a while, but nothing unreasonable. The food is worth waiting for. Seen complaints about no refills or pricing on here. The price point is exactly what youd expect for the kind of cuisine. As for refills, only a select few drink items are listed as "no refill" (and its written right on the menu so its not hidden) and I saw all of two total items that are no refill.

We were excited about this restaurant. 4th time eating here since they opened. First time was great, we did small appetizers and sushi. Second time was good. 3rd alright and tonight was awful! I couldnt eat the ramen at all it was waayy too salty. The fish didnt taste fresh. The salmon was a bizarre pink color. The edamame was overcooked. The eel roll was missing the eel sauce. Really disappointed. Wont be back.

Had one of the Ramen bowls for lunch. Nice size portion and great looking presentation when it came to the table, so was excited to try it. Taste was ok at best unfortunately. So many bean sprouts used they over powered every other flavor in dish. Pork broth tasted like it was watered down. Good noodles, egg, and meat, but overall together was pretty disappointing for a high quality ramen.

Menya is some of the most delicious and well prepared sushi on the Front Range right now! Ive been eating Mune-sans sushi my whole life and I feel like its reaching its prime in its newest incarnation. Plus there is an awesome selection other entrees and dishes, along with a really clean and welcoming environment. If youre looking for sushi in the south, theres really no question.

Came in by myself for lunch felt very welcomed without being forced. They have a really nice happy hour menu, Prices are fair and the fish smelled and tasted fresh. Service was comfortable and i really enjoyed the style especially the neon lights brought the place together and not in a cheap way. Definitely advise you to make your own opinion

Had a shrimp teriyaki bento box for lunch. It was tasty and a fair price for the amount of food. I really enjoyed the dressing on the salad. I believe the server said it was tofu/ginger. My daughter had a spicy miso ramen and she enjoyed her lunch as well. I will definitely be back.

Located in a non-descipt strip mall, this place is surprisingly good. The quality of the fish was all top-notch and the skill of the chef was apparent. Also had a few appetizers. The pork belly was as good as any Ive ever had.
