I am glad to say that my first experience at this place was a positive one! The decoration of the place (indoor and outdoor) is modern and trendy, the staff is friendly and courteous, and the food was amazing! We went early in the evening on a Friday, so we were pretty much the only ones there. My friend and I werent sure if we wanted to get the Thai Iced Tea, so our server was nice enough to let us try the drink first before we ordered. I ordered the vegetarian sauteed drunkard noodles, while my friend had shrimp Paad Thai. I have been to a few Thai restaurants, and I usually ended up pouring additional spices on the top. However, I was very much satisfied with my noodles here. They had a good blend of flavors and were spicy just like my server said that they would be. I would definitely visit the place again to try their other dishes!

We walked in to take a look at the menu as we were at the Hylton Theatre looking for a place to eat, restaurant was empty, a young person with glasses and a beard came out to miserably greet us, we asked for a menu so we can take a look, he got annoyed at us, rolled his eyes and flip the menu to my wife, landed on the host station and walked away. What a shame, looks like a nice place, will never go back, even though my niece its a regular performer at the theater across the street. Today they lost a party of 14 who were most likely going to spend $22 a person = $308. Management, fix the issue before its too late and you loose the business... restaurant biz its a tough one, another competitor 10 minutes away was happy to welcome us and take our business...

Most hidden away restaurants rely on good word of mouth to be successful. Mum Mum is most definitely one place I would tell all the Thai food lovers out there. It is right across the street from Hylton Performing Arts Center on the GMU Manassas campus. The patio is spacious with an open view and the decor is contemporary. The food was wonderfully simple, bright Thai flavors and delicious. We had the the Satay chicken skewers and Thai Wings as apps and The Crispy Chicken Rice and Chicken Drunken Noodles as mains. The Satay was one of the most flavorful chicken Satays I have every had. I would highly recommend trying. I cannot wait to come back and try the drinks and the other items on the menu. Spread the word folks. This place is worth trying.

The servings were huge! You can easily share this unless you have a big appetite. Had the Pad Thai & Pad See Eew. It was delicious! We came here after wine tasting and it was worth the short drive. The hosts were also very wonderful and it wasnt packed which was very nice. We stopped by during a non-rush hour so it felt intimate. Very nice place.

I cant speak for the food, and the decor looked fine. But during a busy Sunday event at the Hylton Center across the street, a growing group of customers was virtually ignored while waiting to be seated in the near-empty dining room. Most of us eventually just walked out. I resent dismissive service (or lack thereof) and will NEVER return.

Such a hidden jem, thanks for the mailer! I would have never known of your existance. I love Panage Curry and this was the best Ive had ever and Ive tried quite a few places locally. Perfectly spicy and creamy! Couldnt have asked for a better thai experience. Took my vegan friend here as well and she loved the options!

Good food and friendly staff. I got a takeout order and left, turns out one of the items was wrong, I returned back and they immediately replaced it with some extras (which they didnt have to). I am appreciative of their customer service, hence this review. Thanks Mum mum!

By far the BEST Thai food Ive ever eaten. All authentic and perfect every time. And they have the most amazing drinks. The owner personally made me a special drink that wasnt even on the menu. You have to try the Thai tea martini. 5/5 Always recommend!!

We have eaten here 3 times and absolutely love it. The staff focuses on customer service, and the little things. The prices are fair and the food is phenomenal. Give this place a try if you like Thai food, and you wont be disappointed.

The food is pretty decent, and the prices are pretty reasonable. There are some expensive items on the menu, like the duck dishes, but mostly around 15 to 16 bucks. The staff is awkward and the service isnt that great.

This is a great thai food restaurant. Its located inside the George Mason campus, so might be a little far away but definitely worth a try if youre in the area or attending an event at Hylton center.

The Tom Kha was amazing. Good food and friendly staff. A little more pricey than your average sit-down but well worth it. Fresh local veggies and delicious meats make this a must-try restaurant.
