My husband and I ate here for the first time due to the good reviews but we were seriously disappointed in the food. I wouldnt call it gross but it definitely wasnt good - maybe just okay - - and we definitely wont be back. Were from New York so maybe were just used to better quality and better tasting sushi. The fried rice was also very bland. The interior is just okay but not up to par with the usual sushi spots weve eaten at. The menu also isnt that big so the sushi selection is limited, and they didnt offer some of our favorites that youd find at most sushi places. The best part about this place is the customer service and the prices are decent, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Honestly? This has been my go to sushi restaurant ever since I was a child. I have lived in Tucson almost my entire life and every year since I was six I have gone here for my birthday as a special treat to myself, I am 21 now and will continue coming back to this location. I highly recommend just about everything on the menu, though there is a secret off menu item – ask for yellowtail belly! – plus their staff is very friendly and helpful. They always make me and my friends or my family feel welcome whenever we are there, and the food never disappoints.

すごくおいしい! ここのローテーションガ早いから魚がいつもFresh!スペシャルもよくある。 Okay, so my small bit of Japanese for this amazing place. I am picky about sushi but I find Sachiko Sushi to be authentic, consistent and welcoming. The atmosphere always makes me relax. There are busy times that may cause a small slow down but that just means the food is good and everybody wants some. Look at the specials posted everywhere, they are fun and they really do change them.

Weve been a customer at Sachiko for many years, sushi is fantastic, meal combos are plenty of food, great service, very friendly staff. Sometimes there is a language barrier but we always make sure our needs are understood and get our order perfect. Im not a fan of the presence of TVs spread throughout restaurants and Sachiko has gone that route. Apparently thats what customers want.

Been going here for over 10 years. Always eat at the sushi bar. Many Daily specials. Service is great from Mitchell and the other sushi makers. If you cant get the wait staffs attention just tell the sushi maker and they will Crack the whip. Language barrier (Japanese or Korean) may be the reason for other reviews of bad service. Best place for fresh fish in Tucson.

I enjoy the food for the price you pay. The servers in the bar area are attentive and kind. The best part is they have happy hour every night so if you love sushi and dont want to pay an arm and a leg. For others whom enjoy Asian cuisine but not sushi they have a large menu to choose from. The one pointer that takes some stars away in the building in dirty and rundown.

This is where we go... this is the only place we go... for sushi! Weve tried other places over the years, but no other sushi restaurant in the valley compares to the quality of food and quality of company that we are welcomed with at Sachiko Sushi. We love going here because we are treated like family, we have since the first day.

The prices are average for sushi. Rolls range from $5-$10. I had the Vegas Roll, which wasnt the best, but pretty good. However, all 4 pieces of salmon nigiri I ordered were bad cuts. What is usually a very flavorful fish was completely tasteless with slightly stringy texture. Maybe its because we came at the end of the night.

Never again! Fish wasnt fresh, rolls were rolled very inconsistent and cut into bites far too big, and pricey for what you got. Service was abrupt and slow. We ate during lunch and left more than half of our rolls on the plate because they were simply inedible. Tables were clean and set nicely, but the fish was far too fishy.

Best place in Tucson! Great ramen, delicious fish, friendly staff, and now they have a happy hour menu on the weekends were most of the nigiri is just $2. Which makes it way more affordable since it can be a bit more pricey compared to an all u can eat place. But it is well worth it.

While eating i was watching the servers laughing & talking with co workers while my tea glass stays empty. My server searved my lunch while talking on the phone. She had several call that didnt appear to be work related. Service is usually net this bad here but its the second time.

I dont know why Sachiko gets bad reviews. Weve been coming here for years. Always consistently great food and service. Sushi is always fresh. Comparable to restaurants in San Francisco where I grew up as far as quality. Dont let the bad reviews scare you away. Give it a try.

The service was great, the food was delicious, very authentic feeling Japanese restaurant. If you are not a fan of sushi, they have a wide variety of options to try! This place is definitely a hidden gem in Tucson! I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Decent flavor, but the service was slow, the food is overpriced, and I found a hair in my food. .Not to mention, when I tried to pay for my food, they still tried to charge me full price instead of taking it off of the bill. I will not be returning to this location.

By far the best sushi I have had in Tucson. A little pricey when you go a la carte, but worth it for special occasions. Service from wait staff is somewhat variable but never bad enough to be frustrating. order the Halibut if you have the chance. So fresh and yummy!

Im from San Francisco CA originally and grew up on Laguna about a block from Japan town. Sachiko is the only place Ive found in Tucson with sushi anywhere even close to as good as SF, I go there regularly now. Go here when you want some totally worthwhile Sushi

Ive ALWAYS loved this place (both locations)!! Came here last week and tried their new SUPER Las Vegas roll, baked scallop roll, and Tokyo Raman (which came with a California roll).... I was not disappointed!!! Tons of food, great flavors, and great service!

Arguably the best sushi in town--they also have a complete dinner menu and a well stocked bar. Be prepared for a wait at peak times...this is not a well-guarded secret! Great location, next to a Starbucks and a small ice cream shoppe for after dinner treats.

Excellent value, quality, authenticity, and wide variety; especially seafood options. The walls are covered with specials which may or may not just be regular menu options. Comfortable, open atmosphere. Good for two or ten.

Great sashimi, fresh and flavorful. Note that most of the bad reviews are for chicken teriyaki and other non-sushi items, if you want Chinese buffet go to one, if you want hibachi go to one, if you want sushi come here.

Good sushi and food like their other place near the airport. Parking can be trouble thanks to a Starbucks and Trader Joes on the same lot, but the lot is large. Worth the parking hassle for the food.
