I am livid at the customer service at this place. My 82 year old father goes to the Parks Mall every morning to exercise and always orders an early lunch from various places at the food court. He has frequented Sarku many times before, and he has acquired 5 stamps from their frequent diner card. At 5 stamps, the customer is supposed to receive one complimentary dish. Last Saturday he tried to redeem his full card only to be denied. Why? The male representative (maybe the owner?) claimed that the first and second stamp were not stamped DIRECTLY in the middle of the circles!! Have you heard anything so blatantly discriminatory towards aging elders? He claimed that one of the stamps were in between two of the markers so it "didnt count"! He refused to admit that there were indeed 4 stamps on my dads card and claimed theres only 3 valid ones when THEY are the ones who are stamping the cards, not us. As a Chinese American, I am mortified that a business who behave so miserly and unprofessionally over ONE complimentary dish. Their food is mediocre at best. I can only think that their behavior is discrimination at elderly folks who are unlikely to go on social media to fight back. My dad tore up the card and threw it away, I wish he kept it so I can take a photo and post it here. The whole argument is ridiculous. In the end he went to Hawaiia Grill across the way instead and said the food there was far superior and the service much better.

Great food, but terrible customer service. I used to be a huge advocate for Sarku, but the last time my husband and I got an order, not only were over half of the items missing, wheb we tried to point thus out to employees we were rushed off and denied. They were extremely rude and cost us about $10 worth of items. Great teriyaki chicken, but always check your order and if they mess up, DO NOT ACCEPT NO FOR AN ANSWER. Do not let them chase you off. Demand they fix your order there on the spot and make a scene if you have to. I went through their corporate channels and have stil not even heard back from them. Very upset about this ordeal. Accidents and mistakes happen in restaraunts, it just does, no big deal, but when an accident occurs, be a decent company and own up to your mistake and fix it.

They are all very nice and cool great food. They hardly ever mess up. Sometimes the shrimp will be underneath the chicken and the customer will complain theres no shrimp, but there is. Theyre actually quite easy to understand if you pay attention. This should be rated five stars...only place I eat at... people are so sensitive, who cares if he rolls his eyes at you? I would laugh. The food is fresh and good. They have never once gotten my order wrong and the chicken has always been cooked properly. The men who work there are always nice and funny and always keep the line moving. This is the best place to eat in the world.

The young, short, Asian guy, (not Ping), was so extremely rude!!! I asked for extra steamed rice instead of veggies, and when he served out the rice, he did not comply with my small request. So I politely asked again, and he frowned and began to argue, "I did give you extra!" Really? All you did was spread it out and mushed down the same amount of rice given to everyone, so it looked like a larger amount. He tried to dupe me. He was rude, unsmiling, impolite, and hated being there. They need to get rid of him, asap. I hate going there now!

GOD AWFUL. Ate at their restaurant 3 times and all 3 times something unthinkable happened. 1st time I ate there the steak was raw and veggies uncooked. The second time I ate there they accused me of trying to steal food when I was in line the whole time. And the third thing happened today April 18.2017 there was bone(s) in the chicken and ALMOST CHOKED!?! LOOK, they are more worried about mass quantities and the actual quality of the food they serve. I have no problem with people who dont speak English well, that fine its understandable but if i cant understand you, YOU GOT TO HELP ME UNDERSTAND YOU. I am livid at the way I was treated here. The cashier rolled his eyes like a girl and was mad that I could not understand him. Then when I was pulling out my credit card he snapped his fingers at me because apparently I was taking to long. I AM UPSET AND DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE.

Ordered two of the chicken teriyaki. There was a change in chefs on the line. The new chef didnt work the chicken well and when we got our order the chicken was a mix of burnt and raw. Sat down to inspect the chicken to be sure. We went to complain and they hassled us and told us we were mistaken. They redid our order with a rude tone. The portions both times were uneven. This our first bad experience out of many times.

Really good food, relatively fast service, and good customer service. Glad I went here instead of Panda Express. Highly recommend the Teriyaki Chicken.
