I read urban spoon and thought, well one negative isnt so bad. Was I wrong. First my tempura came out room temp. and the shrimp was tasteless. The sushi was good but one friend ordered a vegetable and beef dish and the meat was spoiled as if it had sat out for days. We all tried it to see if it was really that bad, it was. I quickly spit out my piece. The waitress apoligized and gave her the same dish with chicken. It didnt come out until we had all finished eating and my friend who shared our food was already full. There was no comp for the bad food even though the waitress said the chef tried the meat and agreed it was rotten. The three of us will never go back. There are too many good places to eat at.

I was a little worried their food wouldnt be that great because most of the places Ive ordered from that also deliever usually suck (in my personal experience). But this is awesome. They had my food at my door in like 35-40 minutes and both the woman on the phone and the lovely young lady that delivered my food were extremely patient and polite and their food is the bomb. I was trying to convince my husband it sucked so I could eat it all, but even if he had fallen for it, there was so much I couldnt eat my half. I would definitely order from here again, and will probably go in and dine, first chance I get. P.S. My dog also likes the food. He kept trying to sneak fried alligator from my plate.

Ive order to go twice from here. The service was fine but Im not 100% satisfied with their rolls and prices. Everything is really small portions for the price of the food. The rolls are greasy especially tempura. The tempura is way too much. It makes me feel like I order sushi from the state fair. The salad is the cheapest thing Ive ever seen. Nothing to it. I wasnt satisfied with the sesame chicken either. It was way too breaded and tasted like honey was drizzle on top. Again, the servings were tiny especially after paying 13 dollars for an entree. I tried twice now but I dont think Ill be back.

Weve been going here for years. I love this restaurant! I recommend going during Happy Hour if you want affordable but tasty sushi. Its not overpriced otherwise, they have typical prices for sushi like most places do. Only once was the sushi not good, it was greasier than usual, but all the other times I got a fried sushi over the years its been fantastic! The Texas Roll is my favorite, next to their Spider Roll, which you have to try! If you want to get wasted there, hey they have a good variety of alcohol, just saying! If you want to try a new sushi place definitely go to this one!

The sushi is fantastic. The service is terrible, I mean beyond terrible. Dont order any alcohol unless its a bottle beer. They water down their drinks. Dont use any coupons whatsoever. I got a groupon and it was still more expensive than their happy hour. I sat down and saw them send 2 different families away because they said their gift certificates were not honored. Wtf! This family owned business needs chef Ramsey to get their miss communication and poor everything a major over haul. He would def have his hands full.

Ive been dining here for nearly 20 years. Theres a great deal of variety on hand from soba, udon, tempura, sushi and more. One of the best deals in terms of variety, amount of food and cost is their lunchtime bento box. In addition to soft drinks, they also carry several flavors of Ramune (a Japanese soft drink), and tea. They also serve alcoholic beverages. Their fried tempura ice cream is amazing, though large and good for sharing. My only complaint is sometimes the service is a bit slow.

Ive been eating here for many years. They serve fresh fish at great prices. The only negative experience that Ive had was when a new waitress gave my soup to the wrong table. Sometimes when there at lunch, the sushi chef has sent out free samples of other sushi so people can try it. I rate all other sushi places against the Japanese Grill. So far, nothing has surpassed it.

A great place to sit back and enjoy good sushi! And well, this is the place to pay good money and get good sushi. Ive been here many times and have a regular waitress that is the best. Shes friendly, nice, and never keep our food away from us for too long!

The food was medium. The waitress was horrible shes on her cell phone most of the night. table was not very clean, food was moderate. Giant sign saying show groupons. I would wait till the end of the meal. P.s. too much wasabi!

I was hesitant to visit Japanese Grill & Sushi, being in between a laundormat and a fighting gym, however; Their sushi rolls and sashimi were fantastic, and our server hannah, was excellent. Would recommend to a friend.
