Pizza Joe Express is one of those places you have to try when you live in Arlington, not just because of its incredibly delicious and fresh pizzas but because you want to see how this place has been able to compete with those major pizza chains like Domino, Papa Johns, Pizza Hut for 24 YEARS. (YUP! They have been here since 1992). I would choose Pizza Joe over those super cheap deals from Papa Johns or Domino any day of the week. I always order large pizza with FREE FIVE (yup not two, not three but FIVE) toppings for only $9.23. I would sometimes order the MEGA size ($14.23 also free 5 TOPPINGS) when I have friends come over and it is big enough to share for 5-8 people. The crust is crunch. Dough is evenly thin. Tomato sauce is flavorful and the mozzarella cheese is always generous. Of course, I would sprinkle some red pepper flakes to give it a bit of a kick. I can tell you this is a good solid New York style pizza place in the neighbor. I have never tried their pasta but my girlfriend love their Chicken Alfredo Pasta. She actually love it so much to the point if she sees me ordering pizzas from Pizza Joe without getting her the pasta, I would be in big trouble. (NO JOKE!!!) One of the best parts of this place is the delivery service. They would tell you on the phone that it takes 35-45 minutes to deliver to your place but it usually only take 25-30 minutes. All the drivers are polite and always greet you with a smile. They would get busy on the weekend and the delivery time may takes up to 1 hour but it definitely worth the wait. My girlfriend and I have been their regular customers for 2 years and there is the reason for it. The food is amazing, the price is reasonable and the delivery service is the best.

I had pleasant service, from taking my order over the phone to picking the pie up. I told the gentleman that took my order i had recently moved here, after placing my order he called me back to see if i needed directions.. Pie was a good value for the money i spent, which is hard to find now days and it tasted great. UPDATE I have now suffered the inconsistency of service others spoke about, tried to get a delivery 3.1 miles away. First phone call to order ok..Then guy calls back, asking for directions and without letting me explain location i got a quick, we dont deliver there. I think if a place is to offer delivery then they should have a resource that locates the address and they determine delivery before accepting order. Its your business, know your area. An office building 3.1 miles away seems to be appropriate unless your deliveries come by bicycle. I was pleasant with the gentleman, after all its my money he is not earning. Thank you

I am VERY DISGUSTED with how extremely rude the owner is! Hes horrible! I like to give people a few tries just in case theyre having a crappy day but its clear this guy feels his food is too popular & delicious to be worried about losing customers over bad service. Hes right to feel that way! People Absolutely Will keep ordering his food despite the "i hate Americans" type of service. Ppl r clueless to the fact that, in numbers (not to mention OUR money supporting his business & livelihood), an efficient temporary boycott could probably go a very long way towards making this place more customer friendly. I also find it gross that they dont wash their produce (i.e. Lettuce, tomato, etc.) and they go back & forth from phone to cash register to food prep table without washing their hands ONCE! this place needs a city audit BADLY!!!

The food is ok!!! But the customer service is just ridiculous!! The man owner is rude, he yells and screams at you while you are trying to ordering as if you are not a valued customer, if you pay with a credit/debit card he will tell you that your total is $13.58 but he will take $18.26 off your card when you gave the driver a $5 tip for coming across the street. Then when you comfort him about it he will tell his entire staff that you are not allowed to deliver food to you no longer because you caught what he was doing and will tell you if you want his food you will come up pick up it yourself so he can see your face!! Like really?!! I like the food and all but I will not be ordering anything else from this place simply because their customer service sucks!!

Hello, i work for Careflite and Grand Prairie Fire/EMS, and we called to make a delivery to the Grand Prairie airport for a medical crew. We order here all the time with no issues, the food and service has always been great. We called to make an order today, and the person was very very rude and told us to never call again because we had a large order. I am pure in shock on how we were spoken to by the employee. We will do exactly what was said and never order from this organization again. And i will be sure that no one else we know from public safety will order from here again.

Me and my husband were really looking forward to pizza but we shouldnt have ordered it! The people were very rude as soon as we got on the phone and once we got the pizza its bone cold and dry. The pizza had no sauce barely any toppings and the cheesy bread....you cant even consider it cheesy bread. All of the cheese was in the middle. As soon as my husband had 1 slice and he immediately had to go to the bathroom and he now cant get off the toilet. We will never be ordering from them again!

I just got off the phone with THE MANAGER. Who was extremely rude. And wouldnt deliver outside of 2 miles and im only 3 miles away. I offered to pay him extra and he was extremely rude about it. So then I asked if I could place a carry our order and then he said "if you can walk here in 20 minutes" thats when I asked to speak to a manager and he said oh well I AM THE MANAGER. How rude. I wouldnt even eat the food because of the rude service

I worked here. The food is handled without gloves. It is often left out on the counter for hours at a time. Dishes are washed incorrectly for the sanitation laws for the city of Arlington. And to top it all off, the owner would not give me my last paycheck after I quit. I strongly suggest going somewhere that actually pays their employees and pays attention to the sanitation laws.

Whats really baffling are the responses from the owner from customer comments.. I too experienced horrible customer service... Id ordered from here once before... Called back to order again just a few days later and was told "we dont deliver there"... Then I began to question and informed them Id ordered there 2 days ago and then with an attitude, he took my order and rushed me...

I drive a truck and my student and I were stuck at a warehouse all day. Found this place on google maps and ordered dinner. Pizza, bacon cheeseburger and meatballs. Food was really good. They brought it right to my truck. Had a little trouble on the phone due to accents....if thats the biggest problem i have during the day I really cannot complain.I will eat here again.
