Incredibly difficult service punctuated our lunch experience today. I arrived before my company, and had a heck of a time communicating to the hostess/server that all I wanted was two waters while I waited for the person joining me. We got a couple of appetizers, first some dolma and then falafel. Id never had anything like the dolma before. Imagine fingerling-potato-sized rice wraps in grape leaves that are saturated with a sour-citrus oil. They were served chilled, which my company (who has visited and dined through Greece) said is the authentic preparation. I was not a fan of the flavor, but the texture was nice. The falafel was incredibly salty but otherwise very good. There were lots of flavors in it and it was perfectly fried to have a moderately-hard shell. My entree was the chicken shawarma sandwich, and I was very surprised by how hard and dry the chicken was. To say I was disappointed was an understatement, especially compared to the tender juiciness of my companys jumra lamb kebab sandwich (juice was running out of it!). The lamb also had an incredible flavor that reminded me of seasoned beef fajitas that were heavy on the black pepper. The chicken had very little flavor in comparison. After wed finished eating, the server returned and asked if there were any plates she could take away; we said they could all go and that we were done. She took them, and then waited by the window-like area at the front of the kitchen (opposite the front door and register), standing there with her back to the restaurant. No one else was needing service, and nothing ever came out -- so we dont know what she was doing there. After about 10 minutes of sitting there with no sign of a check and her continuing to do apparently nothing at all, I finally went up to her to ask for the check (she seemed surprised, as if it is unusual for customers to expect a check after theyre done eating and everything has been taken away). If you want some authentic Greek food, go ahead and give them a try, but save yourself the unpleasantries we experienced and (1) avoid the chicken, and (2) get it to-go rather than dine-in.

This is by far one of the BEST Greek/Mediterranean restaurants Ive ever been to. Entering the young lady and gentleman at the front where Very friendly and warm a smile goes so far!! I noticed that the place was well lit and VERY CLEAN! The workers were clean cut and neat not dressy just neat it wasnt to cold or hot they have 3 big screen tvs so that you can enjoy a program if you come in by yourself and they will change the station to something YOU will enjoy just request it!! Again our waitress was very attentive. Even the water was fresh tasting very good!! Food: we ordered the beef gyro plate and Lamb Tenderloin both were Amazing!! The meat was nice and juicy and tender!! The Greek salad not only taste amazing but the appearance was well executed!! The humus was tasty and the fries were just right!! I give this restaurant 5 stars and will be back again!

You are greeted as you enter by a warm and bright environment, a friendly greeter, and the wonderful smells of the daily fare. Seating is comfortable and spaced out nicely. Has a wide open feel to it, and they seem to be adding decorative improvements rapidly. Staff is immensely friendly and talkative. They actually take time to try and get to know you. They really do make an effort. Ordering is straight forward and quick. The food...oh my the food. So amazing. The portions given on their "By the Plate" items are just incredible. I could eat for a day on it. Several wonderful options for sides, including hummus, Arabic salad, rice, and many others. To top it off, they even have real sugar soft drinks! I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Pros: I really liked the chicken schwarma and lamb kabob. Cons: Poor staffing (the waiter looked like he had just rolled out of bed, touched my food while bringing it to the table, and said he was giving me a plate of beef after I had just ordered the lamb. To be fair, it was lamb but he ought to remember) Poor hygiene: its an open kitchen and its easy to see that no one was wearing gloves. This included wait staff who were both active in the kitchen as well as handling cash. Sides: I had a tabouli salad and lentil soup, both of which were adequate but Ive had much better. The tabouli was served without lemon and soup without fried pita bread :/ Hopefully they use serving trays in the future and train their wait staff to stay out of the kitchen.

My first experience wasnt a good one. I went in (about 6 PM) with good expectations based on the reviews and ordered two chicken shawarma plates and a beef kabob plate with hummus, tabbouleh, fries and a salad all to go. Got home and the chicken was dried out, hard and tasteless. The pita bread included was hard as a rock as if had been microwaved. The beef kabob wasn’t what I expected, cubes/chunks of beef skewered and grilled but rather formed/rolled ground beef. Lastly, the fries tasted of old grease. The only bright spot of the meal was the hummus and tabbouleh. Not sure Ill give them a second chance.

I give it a ZERO star. We call in an ordered in advance and 45mins later I still have to wait. We dined in and the wait was insanely long. We really try to support their business, but after 3 attempts dining in and 1 to go orders, we will never go back. Wait time is EXTREMELY slow. We asked for extra cucumber sauce and they were going to charge us $3.99 extra for the sauce, but ended up telling us they ran out. This is around 11:30AM when the place was empty with no customers. So if you have 1hr lunch dont count on this place you will never make it out on time.

Weve been going to this place since around the time it opened, and have always loved the food. The service, however, always left something to be desired, but we visited for lunch today and were pleasantly surprised. Its clear that the owners/operators have done a lot of work to get the service to match the quality of the food. We were greeted when we arrived, our waitress was attentive, and we didnt have to wait long at all for our meal. Overall, excellent- we havent stopped talking all day about how glad we are that the service has improved.

This place is okay. The food was good! However, when I asked for "water" they brought a bottled water. I asked for a glass of water instead of the $1 water and they switched it out for me. Unlike chips and salsa at a Tex-mex place, Jumra charges for every new pita bread basket they bring. Thats fine, but our waiter failed to mention this and just kept asking if we wanted more pita bread. Lastly, I asked for a dressing with my salad and they charged us separately for that too! These were unpleasant surprises at the end of our lunch.

Meat was dried out and nothing had any flavor. We were charged twice the amount on the online menu. While I understand that menu prices are subject to change, paying double for food that was not worth the list price is not ok. This was my second time trying this place. The first time they were out of Gyro meat at lunch time. That was the whole reason for going there in the first place. I would not recommend this place at all.
