Ive eaten here before without much issue and it was average for a steak house, but my most recent visit last week was awful. Its gradually getting worse each time I visit!! To be fair, I got the sirloin and parmesan chicken and it was delicious! The bread was crusty and warm, asparagus cooked well. My husbands food was terrible! He ordered the ribeye, and it was literally so mottled with fat it was almost inedible. Not one bite that he cut could he eat without having to spit out curds of fat. They also put sour cream all over his baked potato when he asked for no sour cream on anything. Only one refill while we waited on drinks. From the time we ordered, it took 27 minutes for the food to arrive and it was not crowded at all. The waitress looked completely indifferent, and didnt even return a smile. Finished eating and waited 10 minutes before we could flag someone for the check. All in all, Id rather make the drive to outback. I love the combo longhorn offers, but for the money, I want better service and consistently quality food. 50+ dollars for dinner, 70+ after tip, was too much to pay. I dont think well be back for date night anytime soon.

As I read these reviews, I am surprised at how things must have changed or I guess we came on a good day? My wife and I first tried Longhorn when on vacation in Kentucky. When we saw they were building one here in Allen Park we were so excited. We have been there on several occasions and we never had a problem with service or food quality. However after reading these posts, it seems the restaurant has gone downhill. If it was one bad review, then Id say maybe it was the person writing it, but when the first 6 reviews tell you how crappy the service is and the poor quality of the food, and then the managers lack of concern for his restaurant and customers makes me want to avoid the place. When you have a large choice in Steakhouses in the downriver area, it would be in Longhorns best interest to make sure they bend over backwards to make this the best meal youve ever had. The Outback, Logans, and Texas Roadhouse are all very close and very good as well. I like to spend my hard earned dollars where it seems to be appreciated.

Dining on a Sunday afternoon (4pm) and there was no wait. 40 percent of the tables were empty, and yet it took 15 minutes to take our order. I noticed they did not bring out bread until after we consumed our appetizer, and served us our salads. 5 Caesars salads, each of therm had very little dressing and we requested additional dressings. It struck me that I missed the memo this location is I the way down.....but the lack of customers, the slow service, the reduction of dressing and bread seem like a last ditch effort to cut cost before they close. The final straw was a 6"sirloin with stubborn grissle throughout, complimented by a thoroughly tough texture to chew. After 2 years of excellent steaks from this location, I am completely disappointed today. I wouldnt be surprised to see this location closed in 2 months. Before today, the service was great, the food was great, and every one came here to eat. I hope they can improve the experience.

Really Great Steaks and Much More. First time at this chain has put this on my list of great steaks. Had a new dish called Ranchers Sirloin a 12oz strip topped with bacon, sunny side up egg & bordelaise which was amazing loaded with flavors off the chart Great. The wife had the 12oz boneless Rib-eye cooked to perfection with juices flowing. Tried there new soup a Asiago Cheddar broccoli which was very good. A side of a jumbo sweet tater loaded with butter and cinnamon made for a filling meal. The bread the bring out piping hot multi-grain is the very best of any eating spot. Over all Ill be back many time to try those great lunch combo, looking forward to the shaved prime rib sandwich. Special shout out to Donna a really on top of her game waitress they should be proud to have as a team member,,,,THANKS DONNA

My buddy and I visited longhorns whilst travelling through Michigan from Canada. To be honest the food was a tad sub par with the steaks being overcooked (ordered rare and received medium), the salads being a little dry and the "loaded" baked potatoes being light on the fixings. But this did not effect our experience at long horns one bit as the staff we had the pleasure of dealing with was nothing short of amazing. Our server Sabrina took excellent care of us. She was very attentive, endured our bad jokes like a champ, made excellent recommendations on the menu, and even turned our own jokes against us to make us laugh. We couldnt have asked for better service. We would definitely return here if we ever made it back to the Detroit area!

We ate here before it was amazing food and services seemed like they were forced to be here ... Second time we came in we waited what seemed like forever while we see at least 3 tables with no one sitting there when we asked about em the hostess said they are in rotation yet still no one sitting there... People in the waiting area is completely full and still no one moving to these open tables... Its ridiculous... True some people didnt want to sit at a table but a booth but when we finally got walked to our booth... We saw another 8 tables with no one sitting in them completely clean... So upset with this place

Went there for a quick lunch date with my wife. The service was decent nothing to write home about. I was a little disturbed by the fact they didnt have any drink I asked for. I asked for a Stella Artois I was told they no longer carried that beer. I asked for Don Julio I was told all they had was 1800 and patron. For me to spend $50 plus tip I felt compromised. The food however was good the waitress was dry and frankly basic or generic. Would I eat there for lunch again ..... absolutely NOT!

I come here a lot because it is close to my house. Despite the bad experiences I had in the past I always say maybe this time they will get it right. Disapointing, 3 out of 5 times they will over cook the steak! If I want an over cooked or under cooked steak I will just make it my self and save tons of money but instead I go to a steak house to get my steak done right! Ill not go there again. I will explore other options and find another steak house to start going to.
