This review is not entirely aimed at the food as I consider it was fairly good, still it could be improved a bit as some pizza slices were dry. The biggest issue me and my daughter had about this place today was that it is quite outdated. Some seats are broken (you could see the filling sticking out on a chair), the paint job is horrid, green wall on some places, tan in others. The floor tiles were plain ugly, they looked like cheese/sauce pizza topping. Light-switches looked bad (yellowing and uneven colors), napkin holders were dusty and I am afraid it is not due to cleanliness but due to the place being outdated. Four ceiling fans throwing dust all over, and NO air conditioner. We were sweating our heads off, the heat near the ordering counter was so bad it almost burned my face off. I feel bad for the workers having to work in those conditions. At this point I am sure the place is suffering from lack of clientele (only 7 people counting us at that moment, near 4pm, plenty of businesses around with hungry people). Overall the place would benefit from a face-lift.

Food came over 2 hours late the driver kept telling the shop 10 minutes every half hour when he finally arrived he forgot my soda but yet still charged me for it tuened around did not give me my change back. This is by far the worst experience i ever had and will definitely not order from here again. Oh yea the food was cold no silver ware. Aweful .the guy at the desk answering the phone was nice though its not his fault offered me free food next time i order but who wants to wait 2 hours to eat cold food? Thanks anyway

The pizza was actually quite good. I got an eggplant slice, and a tomato spinach slice, as well as garlic knots. I definitely preferred the eggplant slice as it had more flavor. The garlic knots couldve used more garlic. Our pizza came out fairly quickly after we ordered it. I dont live near South St, but happened to be nearby this time. I may order delivery from them in the near future. Reminded me of the pizza places I went to growing up in New York.

Friends and I came in to grab a pie, and a two litre. We asked for a two litre, and were told no. The food can be the very best in the city but quite frankly the service wasnt very good. I understand they have a soda machine and theyre cash cows but cmon telling a patron they cannot buy soda because they want to eat outside their establishment is ridiculous. Great job, keep it up

Generally good food, come here for lunch as its close to work. Very rude waitress however. Ordered buffalo chicken wrap (which I have gotten multiple times) and was given chicken Cesar wrap. When I questioned this, the waitress rudely dismissed me and told me it was buffalo chicken. Surprising because they are generally slow but still nice.

Absolutely love Little Italy Pizza. ts a hidden gem right off of South Street. They have the BEST barbecue chicken pizza in all of Philadelphia. The staff are always so friendly! One day I was unable to find parking so a staff member brought my slice out to my car. How awesome! I recommend the place to everyone. :) Thanks!!

Great price of $2 for plain slice and only $2.50 for slices with gorgeous and delicious toppings; super-friendly family and employees making and serving the pies - and fantastic pies at that with light and crunchy yet pleasantly chewy texture, really spectacular pizza!

Ordered pizza and did not get what I requested or what I thought was ordered. Had been long time customer, but when I called they told me there was nothing they could do. Dissapointed with their customer service and customer appreciation. Time to try another place.

Go-to neighborhood pizza joint. Great with kids, ask them to cut their slices! Far superior to other standard Philly pizza thats not trying to be brick oven fancy. Also fried zucchini sticks for the kids, and the meatballs are delicious.

I ordered a sub but got a Sammich. No oil or vinegar like I ordered, and the tomatoes and lettuce were cut really large. Had the skunky tasting base area of the lettuce in it. Not a sub. The bread was stale at the ends. Meh . . .

I have a gluten allergy and not only do they have a gluten-free pizza, but they give you a slicer so that theres no cross-contamination. They are always SO friendly and quick.
