I have been coming here for approx. 14+ years, and I used to have their regular gyro meal with jalapeños on the side every time I went - at one point when I was working close by or when I was at UTA, I would stop by at least once a week. I am giving this place five stars because of the food and the friendly owner (the wife, definitely not the husband lol), but if I were to rate it based on the interior and upkeep then this place definitely doesnt deserve five stars. They badly need to update/remodel/maintain this restaurant. Their drive-thru is fairly quick, and they have lots of parking. Overall, they have a great gyro sandwich, and honestly I dont understand they reviews below giving bad ratings for the food, because Ive been here so many times that its safe to establish that their food quality and taste is solidly consistent.

Ive been eating here since I moved to Arlington in 1992. Food has always been really good. I do agree somewhat with some of the others that the owner isnt very personable but his wife is. Shes always been very friendly to me and any customers who come in while I am there. Ive been eating there long enough they both know what I am going to order anyway so it isnt like there needs to be much conversation beyond "hello, thats $". Only real problem is the dinning room is pretty small so it can be a challenge at lunch time to find a seat. Prices have risen a bit over the last few years but its still an excellent value.

I went here for the first time this week and it has already become one of my favorite places in Arlington. Where to start the food is amazing and filled with variety, the portions and huge and the price is reasonable. If you look at it from the outside you might think it is unclean inside but the owner and employees keep the inside and kitchen spotless. If you ever in the mood for Greek this is your best bet in Arlington its delicious I strongly recommend this place. The owner is so nice and actually Greek I really respect him and this business that he built!!!!

Finding Gyros House was like finding a needle in a haystack. With a so many restaurants in the multicultural city of Arlington, how could such a gem be found? From the first day I tried a gyro from Gyros House, I was hooked. Several visits later I discovered that this place offered more than just amazing gyros. My recommendation for an affordable and tasty meal is to try the Gyro’s Special – with a gyro, fries and a drink – or the Gyro’s Plate, which provides gyro meat, pita bread, and a wonderful Greek salad.

Gyro house is amazing. I have been visiting for years now. In my opinion, their gyros are better than the more expensive, fancier Greek restaurant gyros I have tried. Also, you should really try their rice. It is excellent. Me and my girlfriend actually get extra orders of rice when we go just to make sure we have leftovers for later in the week. Their fries are tasty and always seem like they were fried recently. Their baklava is also pretty good.

I have been eating here regularly for the past 6 years. My favorite is the house special with chicken. You get a chicken kabob, rice (which is awesome), small salad, pita bread and cucumber sauce all for under $7.00. The husband and wife that own the place are always there working and they are very nice. I am no longer in school at UTA so I dont get to eat there as often but I still make the trip over at least once every few weeks!

Im not someone who really cares about customer service, unless somebody is rude. The owner doesnt really talk to you, he just tells you how much to pay. His wife is very personable though. The food is some of the best Greek food Ive had! It always tastes fresh and the portions are very generous, especially with such great prices. This is one of my favorite places to go to for any meal, I just wish they stayed open a bit later.

I have been to this place several times and have always had a great experience. I just went through the drive thru and ordered 1 gyros and the lady charged me for two and gave me two. When I explained I had only ordered one, she said no you ordered two...I tried to nicely explain again that I ordered one and she just stood there staring and said ok what do you want me to do?????

You can get a Falafel sandwich here with Tahini sauce that is phenomenal! Great prices too. I went back the day after my first visit to get another. I also enjoyed a gyro with lamb. It was the first time I had ever tried lamb and it was great as well. I will have to try the kabobs soon. But, if you are seeking falafel in the Arlington area...you would be a fool to not go here.

Good ole gyro house. The service is fast and to the point, no messing around, the way I like it for this type of dining. The food? I prefer the gyro with a side of fries and a soda, thats all you need! Trust me you wont be disappointed, the gyro bread is great and the meat and sauce pair perfectly. Great place to eat so try it out. CjT

The BEST GYRO in town! I love to try every place that I can for their Mediterranean food. This place has them all beat when it comes to their Gyro ("Yee-roh"). They have the pronunciation on the door. Lol The Baklava is hand made by the owner and it delicious as well. Try the Walnut or Pine nut. They are delicious!

I went there with my wife believing in good reviews but found opposite. Food quality is very bad, Naan were cold, gyros were very thin like tissue papers and they didnt taste like gyro at all. Cherry on top, when we asked about meat, owner rather made fun of us by telling us ridiculous story.

Great food. Served very quickly. Restaurant is old but very clean. My only issue is the person at the counter was not very friendly or helpful. I will probably go back for the food but of course Princes is just a few blocks over and has a more friendly atmosphere not to mention better food.

I agree with the other comments, while the customer service is extremely lackluster, if you know that going into it, then its not *too* big of a deal. You WILL be disappointed in that area, maybe even offended. However, their gyros are fantastic!! Quite possibly the best Ive had!!

The most mediocre Mediterranean food Ive ever managed to eat. The food is served on a Styrofoam plate. The falafel was awful and cut up into small pieces resembling chicken nuggets. The hummus was very runny. The McDonalds of Mediterranean food. One time visit.

Horrible service! Dont waste your time. The older gentleman ignored us for 10 minutes while he had a conversation with a man in thw drive thru. My husband tried to get his attention and ignored him. Seemed to treat us indifferent. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!

I was visiting Dallas for business on a lunch break I drove around and stopped in. The gyro was really good. It had a lot of meat. The pistachio baklava was a wonderful delicious treat. I actually bought a second piece to take with me. Fast and friendly.
