We stayed at the hotel behind the diner and were happy we didnt have to drive anywhere for dinner. You also get 10% off with your room key. Positives: service was decent, and they brought complementary bread and crudites. The seafood alfredo was a huge portion but just OK. Fresh strawberry cheesecake was also just OK and the topping did not seem to fit the fresh description. Found an eggshell in the cheesecake. Ordered the drink of the day (a mai tai), and it was weak and not great. A veggie burger was ordered but was served a turkey burger. When questioned, was told it was the veggie burger. When it said turkey burger on our check, were told sorry but no offer to take it off the bill or replace with the correct item. The turkey burger was also awful and the fries werent great. Luckily not a vegetarian. We left it at that because we didnt want our server to have to pay for it. Then we forgot to show our room key until card was run and they refused to do anything to give us the discount either. Im giving three stars because though our experience was a 2, Im sure the place overall isnt as bad as that. Management needs to work on customer service. That could have rectified the problems and brought our experience up to a 4.

Service was great however arriving prior to their special margarita pricing of the day $3.99..and ordering 2 more after at regular price was a great deal! However i am very dissappointed that 10 mins prior to their special on drinks ending is when i arrived and while sitting at tabel waiting for service ..he still charged me regular price even though i arrived earlier waiting on waitress..The owner did advise me that my next visit here he would offer me drink free on the house...i am not from area just visiting..and when tbere is an offer on drink specials between 2pm til 10pm i expect it to be offered!! Especially when im waiting on waitress to place my order! WHAT better way than to kill your time with a drink...while waiitng! That free drink offer on next visit would have been great if i lived in area but i do not!

Being brutally honest, Ikaros Diner is not known for their food, however I go there nearly 3 times every week of my life. Dont get me wrong, the food is not bad... but its not great. Certain items like the steak pannini or the gyro and the blueberry pancakes are amazing. You really have to know the menu to get the best out of this place. The real shining star about Ikaros is the customer service. Every waiter and waitress strays away from the cookie cutter bullshit and gives you real personality while still being polite and handing out great service. Ikaros is a diner you have to try out a few times. Gran a seat at the counter, order a gyro or breakfast and tip your waitress well.

I searched Google for best breakfast and this place came up. Had 4.5 Stars so thought it should be good. Now my review is based solely on breakfast. It gets 1 star based on their choice of syrup. See attached picture. This is what I would expect from a fast food joint. Not a diner. If I would have seen this is what they give you before I ordered I would have walked right out. Unfortunately I ordered then they brought put this. If management reads this, please get some real maple syrup for your patrons. As far as the other food and service it was fine, they have a great selection on desserts. But for me the syrup is a deal breaker.

We walked in and were ignored briefly before being curtly and unapologetically told to sit down at a booth right next to the entrance, but that it would be a while before we would be served because they were backed up. Thats understandable, but the way we were told was without any politeness. We were going to stay anyway but asked for a different booth. He said, still without looking at us, that no other booths were available (although we saw other empty ones), and if we wanted to sit it would be at that booth. He then walked away without waiting for our decision-- so we left.

I love this place! If it wasnt a diner I would call it a resturant. Food is always good, healthy steamed vegetables, hot and reasonably quick depending on what you order. Waite staff is great. You must go to this place. Tonight I had the Seafood Fradiavolo over rice not pasta, very nice. Sonya had the Athenian Chicken. She took home half of it. Good stuff. Finished it off woth a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon.

When you visit Ikaros Greek Diner, youre experience is like being with family, its not your typical going out to eat place. Meticulous care, friendly and professional service and great food, besides feeling like family just touches the surface. Its a wonderful place to go to enjoy a meal at whatever time of day youre going and seeing the people that make this place so special.

Stopped in for the first time on our way north from Virginia and was so happy with the delicious food and service we made it a point to stop again on our way south! Just as good the second time and well surely be making the Ikaros Diner a regular detour off I-84 every time we pass by! Reminds me of my Greek upbringing without all the drama!

It was great! The French fries made up for any lack of service. Those French fries were exactly as I remembered them from Europe. The only thing that was weird was I had to fill my own drink (water) because I came at an off hour and they didnt seem to pay much attention to a booth of one person. Everything tasted great!

The food was delicious. I ordered the gyro and while awaiting it another person brought me a plate of fresh vegetables for snacking. Then I was also given bread and butter for the table. Upon receiving my food I was impressed with the portion size. I ordered the raspberry cheesecake for dessert and it too was superb.

Very nice. I forgot how much I enjoy diners. Called a diner but treated like in a restaurant. Wait staff was attentive, brought to the table a small vegetable plate soon as seated. Great variety on the menu. Food was tasty and hot. Came after the dinner rush so that may have been why it all came so fast.

Great service. Delicious Greek recipes and American Diner fare. The amazing fresh made house tzatziki really brought together my Ionian Panini. Also, Ikaros is apparently the only place for miles and miles thats open after 10pm on a weekday! Thank you for that!

Good food with nice sized portions. Average pricing. This place seems like it may typically be crowded so dont throw your hands up if youve gotta wait a few minutes. Nice road stop. Waiter (young guy with blue eyes and a Jersey accent) was very kind and attentive.

Best diner in Orange County, hands down. Friendly family environment, very clean, great food, awesome wait staff, fair prices, large portions, and did I mention great food?!?! Must stop for people traveling route 84 or the thruway, and for locals as well!!

We go here often and we feel like family. We are always treated so wonderfully, the food is great no matter what you order (and they have a big menu) portions are big, and the drinks (cocktails) are always mixed to perfection.
