We had heard great things about Bagel Face and decided on Easter Sunday to get a late breakfast there. When we walked in we were greeted by two disinterested women on the back line yelling for the "register person" to come and take our order. Enter "register person" with a half eaten bagel in her mouth mid chew asking what we wanted. Two bagel sandwiches and two cold cups of coffee later our total was $21.00.......how? The water machine was not working so we went up to the counter to ask for more water/a warm up of our coffee. The woman said since it was late in the day that was the only coffee they had and she might have some bottled water in the fridge we could have. There was none. As we were vocalizing these issues the line cooks said "just give them their money back." Probably should have taken her up on that. A couple more customers came in, and they mentioned to them that their coffee would be free because "they" meaning us, said it was cold. Overall, the experience was unwelcoming, not a place we felt comfortable, and the bagels were average. Overpriced-underserved.

My wife and I were pretty disappointed with Bagel Face Bakery. First, the dining area is not very appealing; imagine mixing the interiors of a Five Guys with the random junk from the walls of a Cracker Barrel. Now replace all the seating with couches and weird half-desks and wire spools, and youll have a pretty good idea of what it looks like inside. Second, the wait was crazy. The line was probably ~10 people deep, but it took ~40 minutes to get our food. Finally, we got two bagel sandwiches (a BLT and a Bacon/Egg/Cheese) and an iced coffee, and it was over $20. Even if the bagels were good (in fact, they had a strange metallic taste and were smaller than normal), thats crazy overpriced.

Ive been going to this place for a few years now and Ive never had a bagel, cream cheese, or sandwich that I didnt completely love. For a relatively quick breakfast in the mornings, you cant do better than this place. I recently went to Proper Bagel for the first time after it was voted best bagel in Nashville by the Scene. I had two bagels there that are what I usually get at Bagel Face, and while Propers werent bad, they just didnt come close to Bagel Faces. Tl;dr- Bagel Face Bakery has the best bagels in town, is way better than Proper Bagel.

Wow! Fantastic Bagels, I dont know which one is my favorite, but Rosemary Garlic, the Everything, and the Salted top my list. Everything and Salted as available everyday, but call ahead for the Rosemary Garlic as it is only available on certain days. There are many more delicious flavors, these are just my favorites. Oh, and they have the lox with cream cheese, capers and onions as well, my Saturday morning favorite.

Bagel Face Bakery is awesome! My daughter has a peanut allergy and any time we go into the store the staff goes above and beyond in making sure my daughters food is safe for her to eat. The fact that they care enough about one small customer shows how they love their community and care for families. They are the BEST family friendly restaurant in East Nashville.

Was in based on reviews a month or so ago... place was so filthy I left baffled as to why the high ratings. Looked like it had not been cleaned in some weeks. However, the food and coffee is exceptional. Kinda weird having that contrast. Regardless of the quality, I will not go back because it just feels icky in there.

I like their bagels and the pinup girls are nice. I would have given 5 stars but the smell of this place is rancid. It smells very old. By this being a bagel shop.. I expected it to smell sweet or like bread baking in the oven. So not the case. Not the best decorative place either.

I its a bagel shop. I would have given another star if I didnt have to wait so long. Its hard for me to give a 5 star rating to any bagel place south of NYC. It was en enjoyable experience but I wouldnt go out of my way to go here on our next trip to Nashville.

Quite possibly the best bagels in the city! We love Star Bagel, too, but our commutes take us by Bagel Face much more often and it has proven to be a bit addictive. Their humble storefront should not fool you --- you are going to get QUALITY bagels inside!!!

Had a mix up with the label of a pack of yesterdays bagels. Sent an email and they had a bag ready for me of the kind I wanted the next morning. Speedy, kind and made it right. Thank you! My blueberry bagel craving has now been satisfied!

Visiting from out of town and found this place on Yelp. I had a cinnamon raisin bagel with peanut butter and bananas. WOW! Great! Also had a blueberry bagel with honey walnut cream cheese that was delicious. Very, very good stuff here.

Great customer service...the food was worth the wait...if they still have it when you come in, try the Hot Chicken Pimento Cheese Spread...Changed my mind about Pimento Cheese...Great experience!!!

Love the food at this place, but be prepared to wait. Everything is first come, first serve, even if you order something simple. Management should look into ways of speeding things up

Bagels are good, not great. However, the place is accommodating to children – while every other place around seems to cater strictly to 20-somethings. Two thumbs up.

Good food, but so ridiculously slow. We got one breakfast sandwich and one bagel with cream cheese and waited 20 minutes with no one else in line...

Good food, plenty of places to sit and chat, but pretty pricey for bagels. Bagel and cream cheese was 4, and bagel with eggs and sausage was 7.50.

Very good bagels! If you like drip coffee with your bagel then your set. However, they sadly serve no espresso.
