This is not a family oriented restaurant at all!! Upon our arrival we were greeted by 2 extremely loud and obnoxious drunk men in the bar area causing us to make the decision to move inside to eat. When walking inside, we practically walked through the dishwashing area to get to our seats inside. A rug would be nice to have on the floor when walking through the "kitchen" area. We even witnessed our server fall on the floor because of water and no rug on the floor. The food is average, over priced, and misleading on the menu. My 4 year old daughter ordered Mac n Cheese which ended up being a $4. 95 bowl of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese (similar to Easy Mac). The Cheese Sticks were Amazing, but were mispriced on the menu to what rang up on our bill ($7.95 on the menu/$8.95 on the bill). I ordered the Crab Cake Sandwich which came served on a piece of burnt Texas Toast. I changed my French fries for Mashed Potatoes and was up charged, when on the menu all the sides are the same price. I also added a salad which states on the menu "Add a salad to any sandwich for $2.25", and was charged $3.95 for a bowl of shredded carrots with a few pieces of lettuce. The House Salad on the menu states the salad comes with cheese, onion, tomato, croutons, and dressing. There was no cheese on the salad and my husband was charged an extra $.50 to add cheese to his salad. My husband ordered the Fried Catfish, which was really good, but again added a salad which was misleading in the price to do that on the menu ($4.50 once the cheese was added). The Catfish came with French fries as a side, in which he received about 8 fries if that. The menu is not clear and is quite misleading. Our bill ended up being $50.00 for a mediocre at best meal. I would not recommend this restaurant for a family of 3 at dinner time on a Sunday evening.

The service was great. We got seated very quickly even for a Saturday night. The waiter we had was extremely friendly. I wish I remembered his name so he could get the recognition her deserves....He was scruffy and sounded scruffy lol. He was funny and very interactive. The atmosphere was great and the live music was fun. Now the reason I gave only 2 stars is actually the main reason you come to a restaurant....the food. It was not good at all. I ordered Seafood Pasta. The dish was very watery and not much flavor. The seafood smelled funky. The Shrimp and Scallops were overcooked and the Crab tasted like imitation crab. My husband got Shrimp and Grits. His dish was also very watery and low flavor. Like it wasnt even salted a bit. The best thing was the grits but you cant mess those up much. We also ordered the Crab dip and it was terrible. Too much oil and the crab was no good and it just tasted like peppers and cream cheese. Just really unappetizing. I cant speak for the other dishes on the menu but when you order a popular dish that comes recommended it makes you not want to return to waste money (expensive btw) on food that probably wont be better the 2nd time. It was a very pricey meal and Im very disappointed I wasted a lot of money here.

I was so excited to take my friends and family to this place and was extremely embarrassed of the service. We had a party of 6 and were told that we couldnt be seated until our whole party arrived...so we sat in the hot scorching sun until one employee overheard us complaining. Then, we were told they were out of Budweiser. Then we were told they were out of onion rings. When we asked our waiter what they DID have, he asked to not take it out in him and became very defensive. I was so mortified. Our food wasnt bad...i just couldnt get over the fact the place went to hell real quick. I dont remember it being this ridiculous last summer and i sure wont be bragging to anymore family or friends about this place. We asked if we could turn the channel on the TV, to watch the race and that was a definite no, saying that "national news" was preventing the TV from being able to change channels??? Looks like well need to head to another place next time, very disappointed in what WAS one of my fav places!

One of the worst experiences that I have ever had, the crab dip was absolutely terrible, my wifes drink was all mix no alcohol and then I asked for another shot said I would pay for it and the shot was the same price as drink she had, then our entrée was terrible. I will not be back ever again. For the same price I can go to Cho house and have a 28oz steak and a much better experience. Then after I talked to the manager she went and was talking bad about me to the bartender, no professional at all.

Awedaddys has a wonderful atmosphere with live music and lights. Server was wonderful and made sure everyone was taken care of. We had a table of 10 people the service was fast and easy. The food was amazing. Try the chicken tenders they are good with there homemade ranch oh my gosh say no more. Everything was fresh to order. Excellent experience in my opinion.

Took my Texas Family there today. The Crab and Pasta was terrible, so was the Fried Catfish (how can you screw up Catfish, you way over bread it to hide the fact that its really NOT CATFISH. We all agreed the Fries and Water was decent. The Philly & Cheese, so-so. Hailey enjoyed her Poor Boy meal. Very disappointed in food, waiter very accommodating.

The service was the best it ever was. The appetizers were quick and good. Dinner service was quick and good. We had Autumn as our server. She was great. I would recommend her as your server. We have been going there for 2 years and she was by far the best we have ever had. She said she was new there. They did well by hiring her.

We love this place. Great food and enjoyable to sit outside and eat. Staff is very friendly but when they get really busy they seem to get a little lost. Understaffed I think for the amount of business and the servers have too many tables. Definitely a must try if you are in town...

Got there and it was 40 degreez!! Music entertainment was acoustic and rocking some REO and Don Henly!! We only got 2 songs but man they made sure we had a good time and excellent staff!!!! Really good burger ans average dip!! ALLL THAT BEING SAID!!!!!! IM GOING BACK THIS SUMMER!!!

I ate there and the food was pretty good but the waitress was awful Ashley stone was her name. Very rude . She got our order wrong and was cussing at us and she spilled my drink , I dont think I will be spending my money at that place for service like that ever again.

I love getting to enjoy a good meal, good drinks, and great live music outside by the lake. The cheese sticks are my favorite,but the chicken tenders and catfish are awesome as well. My only complaint is that they stopped making the blue cheese dressing in house.

Came with the family, called ahead. They said 10 minute wait but 8t took 50. Another 15 for drinks. Another 15 for appetizers. 30 minutes more for entree and another 15 for the check. Only got one drink refill the whole time. For what its worth the food was tasty.
