My family and I travel a far distance to this pizzeria because of its old fashioned , yet great looking/trendy, atmosphere and food. We like to come into a place,sit with the owner( when he is not busy of course ), change an item a little bit due to my husbands dietary condition if we so choose and sit and eat until we are full! We never feel rushed and that to me is great~ The location may seem a little hard to find if you are not from the area as he is tucked in right near the large grocery store toward the back of the shopping center but once you find it you will always find way to come back. I have never had the owner be anything but gracious and always willing to make us happy. The espresso afterwards is my favorite!! I often find his mom in the back cooking and what better way to prove that this is an authentic Italian place to dine. The service has always been wonderful. The young staff is friendly and extremely accomodating. To make a long story short in this day and age when people are really concerned with the economics of this country but still want to head out every now and then to have a good meal without clearing out the bank account this is the place to go!!

The reason I used this restaurant is location otherwise, no. Phil & Sons Pizzeria & Restaurant is the worst restaurant in the Plain View and Long Island. The reasons is following? 1. Workers are extremely unkind. Not only unkind, but rude and no responsibility. I really dont understand how those guys have been hired and worked in the restaurant. 2. Price. Price is not understandable. 3. Taste: Compare to price, taste is not good enough. Overall, Phil & Sons Pizzeria & Restaurant is not strongly recommended.

Terrible pizza I been here a few times the last few years and belive it or not it keeps getting worse. Today got a buffalo chicken slice it was horrible wasnt hot at all no spicy to it. The chicken was pink which I saw after 3 bites and I just thru it out. This place is only still open because of location must get lucky with shop rite being right there. My coworkers and friends refer to this place as filthy Phils.

This place seems like its been going down hill for years...I dont know if its because they pay high rent and cut back on quality,Or they really dont know what they are doing..Very over priced compared to many other better places and (Do they know how to marrinate?)..You can ask for extra sause and when you get it you still ask yourself where is the sause..This place is last resort Italian food in my phone book...

Be VERY careful when ordering from this place. I used to work at shop rite and would come here for pizza all the time, and sometimes they sold me pizza that was made with expired cheese :/ yuck. Some of their slices are amazing like the chicken francese slices or the lasagna slices, but I always taste my slice before leaving the store now. again be careful!

Just threw out 2 slices or pizza...so much oil and the sause is way to sweet Disgusting...now Im trying the spicy chicken roll what a waste of time no spice at all.and no flavor This is my second time here first t was just as bad but I figured I would give them a second try...wow what a mistake and waste of $15...very cheep produces used never again

They messed up my order, so I had to wait for another delivery. He was late and all the food was cold a soggy. I called the restaurant and told them I would go out of my way to write reviews about my experience. I was going to eat the food because I was so hungry, but ended up throwing it away because it was so bad.

I recently ordered a pie at the plainview phil & sons pizza and it was awful. Back when the price per pie was $11 or so, it was bearable, but now they charge $14.55 for a pie. Ive commented to them about their ever increasing price and Im always talked down to. I cannot recommend this place anymore.

Great pizza at a very reasonable price. We would have scored it higher, but a grouchy Grandma pulled down the stars because she moaned about the noise from a cleaning bucket. Yes! We know, totally unfair.
